The Fera has an in-house coffee shop (that's hardly open) and a upscale restaurant with live entertainment. Hotel FERA is available for small conventions and gatherings. It's got a couple of medium-size ballrooms and spaces for workshop activities. Restrooms were clean, I thought the hotel looked great! This place is directly across from the hospital. It doesn't matter what room or what floor you were in. You will hear ambulance and police sirens literally all night long. That's not me being negative. I have stayed here three times and I've never found a room that I didn't get woken up. Parking is $39 a night. You read that right trying to find a place after 7 o'clock at night, good luck on weekends it's not gonna happen. You're gonna have to park in the garage across the street for $39 a night. You can ballet for $49 a night.... Breakfast: $30. Of the three times of stayed here, twice my safe didn't work and had to be taken care of my maintenance once my shower didn't work and once my toilet seat had been painted, and the paint was peeling off. During my most recent day when you shut the door, it wouldn't lock you had to either pull on the handle when you were leaving or press really hard from the inside. Doesn't make you feel super safe. Look I get everybody has to work and make 11. But what I'm staying somewhere with the family I don't want to have to get into an elevator with a prostitute. That has happened here multiple times. That's not me being approved. That's not me being judgmental, I have been propositioned in the elevator twice in three stays. I only stay here because my company booked the room and I will not stay again. read more

Don't get me wrong the hotel is beautiful, and overall it seems like a great property. However, I had a disappointing experience with a manager who introduced himself as James (he did not provide his last name). My fiancé and I checked in around midnight the night before, and we were both exhausted. The next morning, I stepped out to grab a few things and, unfortunately, forgot to check our room number before leaving. (Clumsy me) When I returned, I asked the front desk if they could confirm the room number. They informed me that my name was not listed on the reservation, only my fiancé's. One of the staff members even acknowledged that he had seen me the night before when we checked in together. Despite that, James came over and told me he could not provide the room number because, legally, my name was not on the reservation. I completely understand and respect the hotel's privacy and security policies. My concern wasn't that the policy was enforced it was the way the situation was handled. A little more empathy and professionalism would have gone a long way. Instead of making me feel like a valued guest, I felt dismissed during what was already an inconvenient situation. I appreciate that guest safety comes first, but I hope future situations like this can be handled with a bit more understanding and courtesy. read more

I'm loving the vibe at this hotel!! Beautiful premises, great customer service, affordable prices, clean rooms. My only gripe is that they aren't transparent about how much they charge for the deposit which is $100 a night. We stayed 5 nights so it was a $500 deposit? That's a little steep. Other hotels that were more expensive only charged $250 for the entire stay no matter how many nights but.. say la vie... it's really nice and I would come back. read more

If you're coming here for the Phenom National Camp, save yourself the frustration and stay somewhere else. I spent over $1,300 to stay at Hotel Fera, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. After my son spent 13 hours at Phenom Camp, all I wanted to do was wash his uniforms for the next day. I was told by the front desk that both washers and dryers were broken because a Phenom parent broke them. Later that same night, another employee told me the laundry room was closed until 7:00 a.m. Both statements were false. I walked to the laundry room myself and found parents and coaches actively doing laundry. I waited my turn and washed my son's uniforms with absolutely no problem. While I was waiting, I watched a hotel employee place an "Out of Order" sign on a machine that had literally just been used. When another parent asked why it was suddenly out of order, the employee simply said, "It needs maintenance." So why was I told both machines were broken? Why was I told the laundry room was closed? Why were Phenom families being blamed for "breaking" equipment that was clearly being used? The entire situation felt dishonest and left me questioning whether certain guests were intentionally being discouraged from using amenities they paid for. As a Black woman, the way I was treated and the inconsistent explanations I received made me feel singled out and discriminated against. Because of the misinformation, I didn't get back to my room until 1:30 a.m. and had to be up by 5:50 a.m. to get my son back to camp. I lost sleep because your staff chose to give me false information instead of simply telling the truth. For a hotel charging premium prices and hosting hundreds of Phenom families, this level of customer service is embarrassing. I will never stay here again, and I absolutely would not recommend Hotel Fera to anyone attending Phenom Camp or visiting the area. Okay from the outside, this hotel just looks like a giant box. However inside this hotel has everything. It is extremely elegant mixed in with some amazing views. It's conveniently located across the street from UCI Hospital and the outlets of Orange. It's also only a few blocks from Disneyland. On a clear day, the views are truly remarkable. Stayed here for one night after an Angel's game. It is very close to the stadium. The place itself is elegant and it's not hard at all to find parking. Check in was smooth and I was offered free cookies upon check in. The room itself was ok. It was hard to get good lighting even with all the lights turned on. The tv wasn't working, and I wasn't in the mood with having someone come up to my room, so I just went without a tv the entire stay. The fitness center is on the 3rd floor. It doesn't have much, just free weights and cardio equipment. Early check in is accommodated as long as they have a room available. I wouldn't mind staying here again. read more

When I booked my reservation, I wasn't sure I'd keep it because the location only has a 3-star rating. But I am glad I kept it. The outside is very unassuming. But the inside is spacious, nicely adorned, clean, with a fairly sensible layout/design. The check-in was pretty smooth, and the staff was very professional and engaging. The warm cookie is always a nice treat. There is a nice bar and restaurant within a few steps of the check-in area. No pun intended, but you should check it out. The drinks are on point, and the food doesn't taste like traditional hotel food. The wait staff there is very attentive and accommodating. There is a coffee shop in the lobby just as you enter the hotel. It's little pricey for what you get. I ordered a breakfast croissant. It was good, but again, pricey for what you get. The room was comfortable, cool, and clean. The 3 C's I typically look for when staying in a hotel. There is a decent work area. The bed was comfortable, and it had a nice-sized TV. The lamp outlet on the desk was a bit hard to find, and it's low on the lamp's base. Closet space is ok - standard. The shower had two conditioner pump bottles and one shampoo. There was no shower gel. Not a huge deal. I usually bring my own. There is a really nice outdoor space with varied seating. Some of the lounge-chair type seating have firepits. I forgot my swim trunks to get into the pool. But that's ok, there are usually too many kids in that type of area for me. I like a more chill, less noisy swim. The parking is tight. There is a small lot. About 1/4 of it is for valet. Although the valet team seemed pretty nice, I self parked my vehicle. There are some fast-food places nearby to eat if you aren't feeling the hotel food. And Best Buy is nearby if you attend an event and need some tech stuff. Oh yeah, and The Block at Orange is within walking distance if you need to do some real shopping, get something to eat, or just have some fun. Overall, it was a really good stay. I would revisit in the future. It was good value and service for the money. Hotel Fera played hostess to our work dinner - and thanks to Vinolie the Catering Director and her team - we had a fantastic time! We had close to 200 people in attendance, and every table was elegantly setup and arranged so there was sufficient spacing between diners, as well as space between the tables. The stage setup, flowers, decorations, lighting, and tech-stuff was all handled by her team. Reception was outside the banquet room - I think ours was called the California Room? - and friendly waiters served appetizers while more attendees arrived. There was a cash bar with your typical hotel-fare prices - but the hotel also has another bar near the front lobby. As with most banquet rooms, you need to utilize their in-house catering service for food. They have several different catering options - we had the plated dinner set option from chicken, beef, veggie, or salmon - I opted for the salmon, which was moist, tender and delicious. Salad and bread rolls were great as well. Dessert was a slice of cheesecake, accompanied with coffee. Waiters were very attentive, always checking on us, refilling water glasses and coffee as needed. Restrooms were right outside the banquet room - clean and well-maintained throughout the evening. Parking can be messy. There is a lot adjacent to the hotel, but when that's full - you have to park at the structure nearby. Supposedly, the gate raises up if you use your room key - but if you're just attending a function, you won't have a room key available. Luckily, reading all the other Yelp reviews about the parking mess, I ended up getting here early enough to park in the open-air lot next to the hotel. Overall - a great evening with memories made! My family and I were evacuated from our home due to a chemical incident at GNK Aerospace, and we ended up staying here for several days while waiting for updates. What could have been an extremely stressful situation was made so much easier thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, every interaction was positive. The valet attendant greeted us warmly and directed us to self parking. At check in, the front desk clerk was friendly, understanding of our situation, and helped extend our stay since we had no idea how long we would be displaced. Later, when we learned we might need to stay for up to two weeks, the staff again went out of their way to help and extended our reservation without hesitation. The pricing adjustments they offered were incredibly generous. We were originally quoted a much higher rate by the automated phone system, but once we spoke with the front desk, they applied an evacuation rate and even lowered it further as our stay continued. They also retroactively adjusted the earlier nights and provided complimentary parking for the entire stay. Their compassion during a difficult time meant a lot. We stayed in two different rooms, both of which were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Each room had the essentials, a small refrigerator, a large TV, and a coffee and tea setup. The second room also had a microwave, which was very convenient. The beds were comfortable, and everything in the rooms worked well except for the USB ports in the first room, but the regular outlets worked fine. When the evacuation zone was finally reduced and we were cleared to return home, checkout was quick and easy. The staff remained just as friendly and helpful as they had been throughout our stay. Overall, the entire team was professional, personable, and truly accommodating. Overall, you would expect a better experience from what you're paying for this place. The location is good, you'll be near the Orange Outlets. I didn't like the showers,water pressure was low. I didn't like the fact that the parking was $35/day because the hotel is already pricey. They charge separate for breakfast. It's a buffet for $25/person. $100/day for deposits. Overall, just expect to pay more when you get there. So don't book if you're on a budget. Apparently, the blankets have feathers on the inside and it looks like mold if you hold it to the light,but I've never noticed that anywhere else. read more

Hotel Room: Got a King sized room with a smart TV equipped with the typical apps (i.e., Netflix, etc). The bed, pillows and temperature control made it comfy. The bathroom was fully equipped with lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The water pressure was noticeably low which made it hard to feel like you got a good clean shower. The shower head came with a detachable handheld attachment that didn't work. Around 9pm you can hear the fireworks go off at Disneyland but may not see it depending on where your room is facing. Breakfast: If you paid extra to have breakfast included, just know that the buffet is limited to certain days. Stopped by on Saturday morning and was told there was no buffet that day and that the only items I could order were the French toast items or "The Peel Breakfast ". The day before (Friday), I was told that I had $24 of credit and could pick anything on the menu as long as I pay for the difference. This didn't include a drink. Unfortunately the hotel info card that comes with your room cards doesn't have this information. If you come on a day where the buffet and a la carte menu options are both offered, the a la carte is better. The Peel Breakfast was delicious and came lightly seasoned whereas the buffet bread items were cold and potatoes were sooo salty. Shoutout to the staff who were very attentive to the guests and I, checking in every so often to ensure we had what we needed and that water glasses were refilled. Laundry: Located outside near the pool and hot tub area. There was only one working washer and two dryers when I stayed. About $2.50 minimum (tap to pay or card) per load and more if you want to switch up the machine settings. Staff is quick to respond for any technical difficulties. Parking: $35 per day for self-parking with in and out privileges. If you just need a place to leave your car, the parking garage across the hotel goes for $10 overnight parking. Overall, the hotel was convenient for my needs and the staff were friendly. It had a parking lot, smart TV, bathroom amenities and breakfast which are some of the main things I look for. The only dampers were the water pressure, confusion surrounding the breakfast and extra charges for parking. The gym was clean and had towels + wipes for the equipment but the water station's filter needed changing. (Sorry late post) 06/21/25 - We booked a stay here for our trip to Disneyland. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also pretty good there. They have valet parking and a very spacious lot. Since this is a Doubletree Hotel, guess what? We got their cookies. So good especially the fresh and warm ones. Highly recommend this hotel. I specifically reviewed it so I can come back to it. The only issue we had was there was a sewer smell in the hallway on our last day, but it wasn't much of an issue since we were leaving. Stayed at Hotel Fera for 4 days with my kiddo and overall had a nice experience. The front desk service was always helpful and beyond accommodating. We were upgraded to the highest floor and the view was stunning. They held our bags before check in, after check out and accommodated an early check in after flying into to town so early. The room itself was modern and clean but on the smaller side. Some small negatives/downsides worth mentioning is that in our room not all of the USB plugs near the beds did not work. We ended up walking across the street to Best Buy to buy charging cubes and that solved the USB port issue. The bathroom is also on the smaller side so it felt a bit cramped at times. Despite these small details room worked perfectly for us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub daily and hit the hotel convenience store pretty often. The hotel is centrally located but it is also located right across from Irvine Medical Center so you will hear ambulances and helicopters at night and throughout the day. We found it cool to see the helicopters land every night but it could possibly be a noise disturbance for light sleepers. It's also walking distance from the outlets and various restaurants which we took full advantage of during our visit! It was nice having options to get away from the hotel and explore. Overall I give Hotel Fera a solid 7/10, We visit Anaheim frequently and I'll likely stay here again in the future. read more

Hotel Fera (a subsidiary of Hilton) is one of several hotels around The Outlets in Orange. It's across Best Buy and UCI Medical Centers. The hotel offers both self parking or valet (both are outdoor with no carports). There are plentiful of spaces next to the hotel. The hotel lobby area seems open and space seems larger -- then other hotel lobby. It maybe how this hotel happens to curve along bar, breakfast nook and ballrooms. The Front Desk with two check-in counters is efficient. The staff are nice. There are four elevators and using keypad to determine which elevator to take. The room is nice and decent. The double standard seems more like twins. There's a fridge so that's nice to keep water and dessert cool. The bathroom is roomy which I like. The toiletries are from Crabtree (nice). THE NOT SO GOOD;: 1- NO FREE WiFi (unless you're a Hilton member or sign up, as one). This is a disservice for customers and disappointing. 2- Unfortunately, due to the vicinity to UCI ER, ambulance blaring its siren, seems to come by every couple hours, so can disrupt sleep. read more

I love the lobby in this hotel, but that's where it ends. First, there are no business rooms here, so if you need to make a photocopy, use hole puncture, etc., you're not gonna find a place to do it. You could ask the front desk to make copies; that was helpful. Second, if you try to call anyone or anything in their outdated, 1970s like telephone system, don't expect anyone to answer. After 25 minutes of busy tones or pre-recorded messages, I decided to simply go downstairs myself and ask someone for help. Third, my bathroom was not completely clean as I offered found hair either in the sink or shower walls. But I do love the lobby! Absolutely the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. What was supposed to be a special birthday trip for my sister turned into a complete nightmare. We booked an 18th-floor king room (Room 1824) and were so excited--but the problems started immediately. No one helped with valet, no luggage carts, and we had to haul everything ourselves. That night, we asked for extra towels (because there were only TWO), and were forced to go downstairs to get them--only to be judged for asking for five. Completely unprofessional. The next day, we left from 10am-3pm and specifically requested housekeeping. No "Do Not Disturb" sign, called twice--and STILL came back to a dirty room. Then it gets worse. Right after midnight--on my sister's birthday--we hear water and realize THE CEILING IS LEAKING. We call, and a maintenance man comes and tells us we will likely need to switch rooms. After 30 minutes of nothing from the front desk and no answer from them, we go downstairs, and are forced to wait. The one employee casually checks in other guests and hands out cookies. Meanwhile we're standing there at 1:30am with a leaking room. We finally get moved to Room 1106, which was a massive downgrade. And I mean MASSIVE. The room was filthy--covered in dust, musty, clearly not cleaned in ages. It was so bad that dust literally got into my contact lenses. My sister, who has asthma and severe anxiety, couldn't breathe and ended up having a panic attack in the middle of the night. The adjoining room door was also wide open, which felt incredibly unsafe. We were told there were no other options. So we were stuck. We checked out the next morning (a full day early) and had to scramble to book a last-minute hotel at a much higher cost. Management? Completely useless. We were promised a follow-up call within 24 hours--never happened. When we finally reached a manager, she was dismissive, not empathetic AT ALL, and acted like this was no big deal. She was not surprised at all by our situation. No apology. This place completely ruined my sister's birthday and our trip. I would NEVER stay here again. Avoid at all costs. Wish I could give no stars. read more

Valet - nice and helpful gentlemen. Checkin - the gentleman at the front was fast, friendly and appears confident. He deserves 4 star. We got our complementary warm chocolate almond cookies - delicious. CON: it's expensive! compare to the neighboring hotels which have better services and way cleaner. ROOM- premium King. The bathroom is old and moldy! There is zero ventilation. We got a few left over tissues - room service didn't even bother to check the tissue box. No microwave. Small fridge and coffee machine. Two water bottles $4 each, free for elite members. CLEANLINESS: The tile floors and carpet of the lobby, hallways and the room were dirty. The same food crumbs and smudges in the halls and lobby never got cleaned for the 4 days that we were there. PARKING - $40 valet, $35 self park per day. There are two parking areas: front lot directly in front of the hotel and the parking structure on the side of the hotel. I needed a place to stay close to the concert venue I had planned to go. I booked on Booking App and got a fairly good rate. On the day of my arrival, I knew I would be getting in around 12 or 1 PM anticipating that they would not have my room ready until closer to check-in (at 4 PM). However, when I arrived, the concierge promptly let me check in and allowed me to stay away from the elevator (I told them I was a light sleeper and needed a room further away from the elevators). The hotel itself is lovely. The lobby area is HUGE, there is a restaurant and coffee shop if you're hungry. There is a 24 hour gym located on the third floor - there is also a refill water station located in the gym as well (if you need to refill your water bottles). The gym has many treadmills, weights, and a Peloton bike! Impressive! Lots of towels for sweaty gym sessions. My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is modern and I loved my space! Overall- I was very impressed with my stay, the location, the staff and my accommodations. Please note I did not use the parking lot as I used uber to get around. The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon was from September 5-8, 2024. Looking for hotels in the area through Hilton.com, I saw Hotel Fera Anaheim just a few miles away from Disneyland. It was my first time booking a hotel reservation at this location. My husband and I checked in late Wednesday evening from our drive in from Las Vegas. There was outside parking, self-park, and a parking garage available for the overflow parking. When we arrived, there was a few other customers ahead of us for check-in, but the process went relatively quickly and we waited less than 15 minutes to get checked in. Our stay was from Wednesday evening, through Sunday. My Halloween Half Marathon was on Sunday, with a 5:00 A.M start time. The hotel mentioned that our check-out time would be Sunday at 11:00 A.M, which was more than enough time to get back from the half marathon to the hotel! Our room was a king room. It had a variety of amenities in the room! -TV -Refrigerator -Hairdryer -Coffee Maker -AC -Ironing Board The bathroom was relatively spacious. There was Crabtree and Evelyn(R) bath amenities too! Our room had a great view of the local city. WiFi was available and we had a great connection to the WiFi in our hotel room! The bed was pretty comfortable too! The hotel offers a wide range of activities On-Site Restaurant Starbucks Coffee Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Room Service Business Center Meeting Rooms Parking was not complimentary, but that's pretty standard for a lot of hotels in the Anaheim area. There is also Disneyland shuttles for free offered by Hotel Fera. You'll need to contact the hotel to confirm availability. The hotel is in a great location! It's right next to the Anaheim Convention Center, Angels Stadium, and the Honda Center. My husband and I spent most of our time at Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. This was one of the better hotels that I've stayed at in Anaheim California. It wasn't directly next to the major highways either, so the hotel room was nice and quiet! Just some basics here: There is light tan carpet in the lobby that is filthy and needs to be changed. The gym's water fountain filter needs to be changed (it is on red!). I stayed here for a work conference and had a great experience. Location: It's walking distance to the Outlets so that was nice. It's also close by to Downtown Disney if you want to walk or Uber there. Otherwise, I don't think there's much nearby. Rooms: I stayed on the 20th floor and had a comfortable King room. The bathrooms were large and clean. The room had a view of the highway but I heard that we could see the fireworks from the hotel but sadly no fireworks happened during my stay. One weird thing that happened during my stay is there was a weird smell that came from the plumbing in my bathroom for one night. I promise it was not me! It smelled like bad sewage but I couldn't really identify where or how....luckily it went away the next day. Food: Since I came here for a conference, there was catering in one of the conference rooms and the quality of the food really impressed me. So many different varieties of food and they mixed it up every day. Tender meats, flavorful sauces and even good soups. We definitely ate well all the time we were there! I got this hotel for listening to a time share presentation for Hilton. Walking in the lobby is dirty itself and it doesn't smell fresh. People were screaming in the bar area and employees were moving slamming furniture with no regard to customers. Parking is $35 a night which I feel is a rip off. The room itself had a bunch of damage on the door and closet. Theres black hair left in the bathroom and overprints on the mirror. I don't like the fact it doesn't feel clean at all. So this hotel was chosen by the Bride and Groom as it was close to the venue at the Grand Gimeno. I'm a loyal Marriott Member and have not stayed at a Doubletree or any other Hilton Brand for years but this place was actually really nice. Since we were guests for the wedding they had negotiated a great rate of under $120/night. Really enjoyed The Peels Craftbar and Restaurant as we ate there one night for dinner and one morning for breakfast. It was nice having a Strabucks inside the hotel but FYI, they close at 11 am. Other than the pool being on the small side, I truly enjoyed my 2 nights here. read more

Place is not well run. Don't book this hotel. Its basically a Cheap Super 8 hotel with a Hilton Flag, everything is self service. Go somewhere else not worth the brain damage staying here. read more

We arrived on Thursday evening around 4pm and the gentleman working the valet kindly greeted us and welcomed us as we got off our ride. Once inside, we were a little confused as to where the check in desk was at. We found it after a few mins as it is tucked in against the left side of the lobby. I walked over to the desk and one of the ladies standing their called me her way. This lady was rude af. She didn't greet us nor did she talk to me in a nicely manner. She had an attitude and didn't even bother explaining to us what the hotel had to offer. She handed me the keys without saying a word. I asked her where the elevators were located and she rudely answered me and repeated herself twice, girl bye. We made it up to our room and walked on in. The elevators were great as they were pretty quick! The room was spacious, clean, and the AC was on blast. Even with the AC on though, the room felt very humid. We ordered room service and it was a breeze. The food arrived about 25 mins after placing our orders. Overall, the rest of our stay was uneventful. We needed extra towels Saturday night and the worker that was at the desk was friendly. The people working the valet were always friendly and my door was opened for me each time! The grounds are well kept and the pool area is nice. The lady who was working Thursday evening needs to go. She was the only bad thing we encountered during our stay... read more

Fun filled family weekend! We truly enjoyed all the great amenities at this Doubletree! The decor throughout was very modern! The staff is all very welcoming from the front desk to the bartenders, servers & maintenance team. The large lobby, sophisticated bar & beautifully decorated restaurant were all perfect to relax and enjoy a delicious appetizers, salads, breakfast, dinner & cocktails which all tasted so good! The kids enjoyed playing corn hole while we enjoyed the live music on both Friday & Saturday night! Fireplaces surrounding the large pond were delightful! The pool & jacuzzi were great & there was always plenty of clean towels! I was able to do a load of laundry while soaking in the nearby jacuzzi. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfy! Manager, James was professional & pleasant! He provided excellent customer service which I've come to expect from Hilton Hotels which never disappoint! The hotel coming in looks nice. The room not bad. But we called for pillows and toilet paper two times before they brought them over. The room wasn't cleaned. We stayed two nights three days. Parking is 40.00 a day. And if you are out and about and get here late you won't find parking. Not good. read more

I was woken up at 9 am with a knock on the door. Some lady in a staff uniform pointed at a pile of shit and asked me if i had a dog. I assured her i didn't and she asked me if i was sure. Why would she not just get rid of the pile of shit instead of waking me up? If you like shit this is the place to be i guess. Otherwise the stay was fine, but seriously.... Why would you point that out to a customer, just take care of it. read more

The staff was excellent. That was the good part. Now the negative. I did not have a working shower the 2 nights 3 days I was there. The first day employee told me there was an issue with pipe but getting fixed. I was ok with that. It never worked. I told the front desk upon check out and was told they will send someone up to look at it. That did me no good as I was checking out. I was not offered anything for the inconvenience of not having a shower. I want to see if the Hotel will make this right. I was ok with the 2 queen size beds being full size beds but no shower is unacceptable. The bath did not look very clean but after seeing there was no working shower that explained it. I look forward from hearing from someone at the hotel. read more

Just arrived and they don't even offer they're guest free parking , its $40 a night and when youre staying 5 nights that adds up . The worst part is the garage parking is a long walk to the entrance . Lastly , the front desk guy was not professional when i brought up this concern or when he handed me the key . My travel companion and I arrived at 9:30 AM on July 18 after a red-eye flight, only to find that the prepaid room we had reserved for July 17 had been given away. We were told it was because we hadn't called to confirm a late arrival -- a requirement that was never disclosed on the phone during booking or in the confirmation email. Since the reservation was fully prepaid, we reasonably expected the room would be held until check-out on July 18. Instead, the hotel was sold out, which suggests our room was resold. Despite paying over $200, we were left without accommodations and received no refund. We did have reservations for the following two nights and stayed, but the experience left a bad first impression. At the very least, since we were guests for two more nights, some small form of compensation would have been a good faith gesture of customer service. This was a very disappointing start to our trip. We would have happily dined at the hotel restaurant and purchased food at their onsite options and recommended the property to family and friends in Hawaii, but the lack of transparency and unhelpful daytime staff left us with no reason to return. Next time, we'll choose a different hotel. Update: Thank you Hilton for rectifying what was initially a bad experience. We appreciate it! read more

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and they have recently remodeled most of the rooms, lobby, gym, etc. they have done a very nice job. They have a great Bar there called the Peel as well as an in house restaurant. They also have a Starbucks in the lobby. There are a ton of meeting rooms and a business center as well. The hotel is right next to The Outlets at Orange and within 15 minutes of Disney and Angels Stadium, Very easy to get the and around Orange County from this location. Parking situation: Valet parking as well as on-site overnight parking for $28 per night. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The remodeled rooms and beds are comfortable and look nice. One note, there is a weird drain valve above the sink in the bathroom that leaked the time before when I stayed in the summer. It is connected to the AC and some kind of overflow, it drips slowly onto the counter and not in the sink, poor design. I had to put a towel on the counter to catch the water so it did not splash on everything. This last visit I checked in and the heater was vibrating loudly in my first room, so I went down to request a change and they accommodated me right away and were very, very nice. The new room was great, heater was quiet and no issues. Although a couple quirks here, I still gave them 5 stars and would recommend this Hotel when in the area. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and central and the bar is great and the gym has been updated very well. I forgot to get a shot of the gym here though. Enjoy. read more
