I had Nakeisha from perfect cut to come to my house to groom my Pomeranian, Baxter, a few times a couple of years ago and then I lost her number and couldn't remember which groomer she worked for. So, I figured I would take Baxter to the vet for grooming. The first couple of times were okay, but the last time they cut him way too short and now he has a bald spot in his beautiful coat. So I became determined to find Nakeisha again. Lo and behold, I remembered the name perfect cut and was able to get Nakeisha to visit again. She did a wonderful job on Baxter and we talked about the poor job the last groomer did. She gave some advice on how to treat the bald spot and educated me on how it may have happened. I am so happy I was able to find her again. She is the best! In addition to her grooming skills, I love her straight forward personality and always enjoy talking to her for a few minutes after she's done with Baxter. We called and got an appointment that was scheduled more than 2 weeks out. The day came and no one showed up. We called back to see what happened and were told "my assistant rescheduled your appointment to tomorrow." We were never notified of the change, but we said that was fine so come tomorrow. They never showed up a second time. We called again and were told the schedule was messed up again, but we would receive a call back in a few minutes. We were never called. We called back a final time and they claimed to have left a voicemail, but never called us so we decided to look elsewhere. read more

SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE and DO NOT hire these folks to groom your pet(s). When I originally called Perfect Cut, I told them that our 30 lb. Miniature Australian Shepherd (which anyone in the Dog business knows is a hairy dog!) needed a grooming, though she had NO matted fur or other problem areas. I was quoted what I felt was a fair price for the job. Before reading the following paragraph, please understand that I have NO problem paying an extra $20 for the convenience of having someone come to my home to groom our baby. But I must admit it was a bit irritating that she adds a $20 "mobile fee." (I thought the whole idea was that this is a mobile salon! I can certainly see the need to charge the extra, but for goodness sake, just add it to the price before a price is quoted. One EXPECTS to pay more for mobile grooming than if we brought her to a brick and mortar.) But the big problem came when it was time to settle-up. Multiple bad experiences, would not recommend. I have used this service a few times now and I am done. Most of the 1 star reviews about never showing up and being hard to contact are accurate and I can verify I experienced similar issues. However as a customer there are more problems. The price they quote and the price they charge are vastly different, by nearly 2x. The reasoning include one dog being 2lbs larger than the other dogs, or tangles that were never shown or explained. Additionally the extra charges were never disclosed, they just appeared on the bill! On top of that ever time I have used them one of my dogs has come back with a terrible cut that looks nothing like the breed should and the ladies that groom do not follow instruction or requests at all. If I could give a negative rating I would. Talked to two different people who were very nice. They may even do good service but I will never know. Poorly managed at the least.
