The Perk. Located on the corner of South Main St and East Walnut street in Perkasie is a friendly family restaurant. Street parking can be a challenge but just a block away across the street they have a parking lot. The exterior is beautifully set up with flowers and benches. The best descriptor for the food here is home style. The Perk is not a gourmet experience but rather a trip to your aunts house. A place the local teams come to celebrate wins and families enjoy a meal they didn't have to cook at home. There is plenty of seating in several dining rooms along with a room with a full bar. We've come a handful of times now and they are consistent. The service and staff are always pleasant, friendly and eager to please. Even the patrons most time are locals and engage in conversation from their table to yours. For a true comfort food home away from home meal the Perk is for you.

Last week, we had two glasses of cava, a pint of beer, the goat cheese and beet salad, the spring pea soup, the salmon filet entrée, the crab and shrimp cakes entrée, a side of caramelized brussel sprouts. The bill was a little over $100. Sellersville is out in the middle of nowhere, but making the trip is always worth it. The theater only seats about 300 people, and the sound system is superb. They attract top-name national acts who seem to enjoy playing there.

The convenience alone made this hotel a perfect choice--being able to walk over to the theater was a huge plus. The show itself was a Harry Chapin tribute in January 2026 featuring original band members Steve Chapin, Howie Fields, and Big John Wallace, which made the evening especially memorable. The hotel itself has Victorian details and a grand antique bar that gives the whole place a great vibe. It is a must-stay if you appreciate history mixed with modern comfort. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, providing a high-end yet cozy place to rest after the show. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant before the concert, and the breakfast the next morning (included with our stay) was great. If you are seeing a show at the theater, do yourself a favor and stay here--this is a very enjoyable stay and a place I'd happily return to, especially if attending an event at the theater.
