I started taking my little Maltipoo to Gayle at LePawalmost 10 years ago! She has always done an…read moreexcellent job and never made one mistake in grooming. She has had difficulty keeping a business location because of all of the apartments being built in the Clearfield area but in spite of that she has kept her business going at various locations close by! Right now she has a mobile grooming trailer and the Roy area and it makes it so that she is available soon to move around. The quality of her work and the especially the products that she uses are fantastic! I have been to other groomers that I think actually use dishsoap or something that is harsh. She is a very loving caring person with all of the animals. And especially, she doesn't take forever to get the dogs done! I can get my Maltipoo in and out in about an hour and a half and she looks gorgeous! And she has walk-in appointments! That is very convenient for me! I highly recommend you give her a chance. You won't be disappointed and her prices are very reasonable!

Not a groomer for puppies! Not for difficult dogs (unless…read moreyou want to pay) Entrance/Venue is not inviting, "sketchy" Had to call them back to find out why my dog's paw was bleeding. multiple reviews say they cut nails WAY too short We recently moved to the Clearfield area and my two shih tzu puppies (Sofie 1 year, Chopper 6 months) needed trimming. They also got into some burrs earlier this morning and wouldn't let me get them out. I searched "groomers near me" and I remember passing Le Paw on drives before. I called and the kind lady said walk-ins were welcome from 8am to about 11am. I left right away and dropped my dogs off just after 8. I was surprised by the exterior. The sign is good, but the house has peeling paint, pink paint, and a strong musty smell. There's not a lot of parking (but I don't believe they have more than 1-2 customers at a time. The fountain out front is nice, but seemed odd, out of place. Inside was cramped and dark--if the walls were a solid, lighter color with a few framed pics of pups they've groomed or a board with prices listed--that would be great. But the magazine clippings taped to the wallpaper was not very professional or welcoming. They did not have their prices listed anywhere that I could see. Craig called me after 3 hours, which was great for 2 pups. I went to pick them up and he said there was some training issues, not liking their legs trimmed, Chopper growled a little. The lady (the owner I believe) said to have Chopper practice standing on all four legs with his head held up on a leash to get used to grooming. I paid (about $45/each plus some because of the training issues, extra $11) and we left. At home, we got out of the car and I looked down to see my arm covered in blood. It was from Sofie's rear right paw. I had to call to find out it was them. They didn't apologize, Craig just said "oh, it looks like she (the owner lady) cut her nail to the quick. We put some blood stopper on it, must've come off." Their coats feel great and they look darling, but I won't be returning to Le Paw. Sofie is traumatized and she won't leave my lap (which is unusual). Chopper was shaking when I dropped them off, I should have noticed. I would definitely rather travel the extra 30 mins to our regular groomer in Salt Lake where I know they'll be taken care of and be honest with me.

I'm new to the area and my anxiety ridden pup needed some grooming. They took all my information…read moreand verified vaccinations which I thought was kind of nice. Most ask for vaccines but then never verify anything. I let them know I'd be staying in the area in case my little man was not able to be groomed. He hates water, the blow dryer and is skittish around strangers. He was abused indoors before he was rescued so he's not a fan of new places either. They told me it would take 2-3 hours even though he didn't need to get trimmed at all. I walked out thinking this is never going to work. When no call came within 5 minutes I was a little surprised. Then the phone rings 40 minutes later....I thought.... there it is, he's not going to make it through. It's only been 40 minutes and not even close to the 2-3 hour eta. To my surprise, they told me he's ready for pickup and he did great. I was truly shocked. Shelly did a phenomenal job. My only negative is that they opened the little gate to the back room before having the leash on my dog. There were other dogs in the waiting room which was not a big deal but had someone opened the front door or had been walking in, my dog would have darted out immediately and would have likely run right out into the street. That didn't happen thankfully but it crossed my mind when I had to grab him by the bandana they put around his neck. I'm grateful that was on him. I will return and will request Shelly ever time. I'm glad I found this place and appreciate all the attention they gave my pup.

Upon arrival, we had a very positive experience. The facility was very clean and the front staff,…read morealong with Amber, was very attentive. The technician was kind to our pet, but I was surprised that no one initially checked our pet's temperature or assessed his condition based on his symptoms; we had to remind the staff to do so before we left. Dr. C made a poor initial impression with his curt demeanor. He seemed short and almost dismissive of our pet's situation. For instance, he did not introduce himself when he came in and after a brief greeting, he pointed to the table for our dog and began his assessment without allowing us to provide input. He was halfway out the door before he finally asked if we had any questions. However, It came off as more of a formality versus actually caring if we had any questions and addressing them. The initial interaction, lasting less than two minutes, felt rushed and impersonal, reflecting poor bedside manner. However, Dr. C significantly redeemed himself when he returned with the medications and was very polite and more attentive. Additionally, a gentleman named Alex was extremely kind and helpful, answering many of my questions and putting my mind at ease in the reception lobby. Overall, our experience mostly positive and if I had to point out any areas of improvement , it would be the overall bedside manners that the doctor provided with patients. With that being said, I would return.
