It is the place where the cool dogs play. It has indoor / outdoor play areas, a friendly and knowlegable staff (yes I quizzed them), and even has private suites available for dogs (like mine) who need their alone time. I will never forget the first time I went to Planet Bark and asked for a tour. I was shocked at how quiet it was.. Mary, one of owners, just laughed and said "that's because it's nap time". I kid you not, the dogs play so hard they actually need (and do take) naps :) Sadie doesn't get that at home... can't say enough good stuff about "the Bark".

Well it's been about a year since I've taken her because of COVID and just wanting to save money and bathe her myself. (She never needs a haircut) Anyways I called to make an appointment and the lady told she has her scheduled for xx date during the week and she could be ready by noon for pick up. I had my father drop her off on the day of appointment and they said they didn't have an appointment for her. So he called me in a panic. I spoke to the lady and she accidentally scheduled her for a weekend! When we aren't available. Thankfully she owned up to the error and said she could still work her in that morning. Great!!! I go and pick her up. They tell me the total. A simple bath went from a reasonable $35 to $60! She was t needing a haircut, she just needed a bath. The lady explained they are under new management and prices went up due to inflation. I could understand $10 maybe $15. But it would have been nice to know the prices nearly doubled since my last visit (which you can see when they pull your file). Okay so fine. I will pay that but what I notice with the new management they lack the "special" touch they use to have. Like bandanas and cute goody bags they sent you home with (usually a progress report and a dog treat). I paid more and got less special treatment. Not to mention the next day my dogs skin was having a reaction to whatever they used. And I'm my file it stated to use oatmeal or hypoallergenic shampoo which I'm guessing they didn't otherwise her skin wouldn't have been red and flaky. So in all, I went from being a long time happy repeat client to a client who will no longer be returning for multiple reasons. The big one being customer service.

After talking to Suzanne, I scheduled an appointment. My little one is a wiggly little thing and I worry about her getting hurt at a groomer. Suzanne calmed my girl right down. She listened to how I wanted her cleaned and groomed. She was very professional and had Zoe done in no time. So happy to have a place I'm comfortable leaving my baby.
