I took my beloved family cat to this clinic mostly for yearly checkups, shots, claw clipping and…read moresanitary clips. Dr. Shipman was nice and seems knowledgeable but I got the feeling he was more comfortable with canine patients. When, our cat needed something more than a checkup or claw clipping, I could not have been more disappointed with this clinic. He was sick and we needed expertise which this clinic did not seem to possess. Our cat had stopped eating and was very lethargic (quite unlike him normally). I took him in and we saw another vet in the practice -- I think she was new. She ran a full panel of bloodwork that showed him in good health other than his red and white blood cell counts -- which they ran twice. The red blood cell count was dangerously low while the white cell count was very high. I was given no explanation for why that might happen -- maybe an infection of some sort?He was prescribed an antibiotic and steroids and an appointment two weeks out. He was still in rough shape two weeks later. No other theories and no alert and to the dangerously low red cell count. Finally, I took our cat to another vet, got a diagnosis, full explanation of the disease (IMHA), and a course of treatment. Over the course of the week of new treatment, he slowly showed improvement. The IMHA eventually took his life and we got another few months with him feels my better. I can't help but wonder if we could have gotten him back to full health had I taken him to the other vet earlier. I'm not able to review the clinic's care for dogs or other animals but, if your cat is a member of your family, I would definitely avoid Buckner Animal Clinic.

It's clear she's in her happy place! The staff is always so enthusiastic when we arrive, and it's obvious they know and adore my pup like I do. They shower her with love and attention, which makes me feel so comfortable knowing she's in such good hands. What I truly appreciate is the personal touch they add--when I pick her up, I always receive an update about her day. Whether she was playing with other pups, meeting new friends, or doing something silly, it's always fun to hear what she's been up to. And the videos they post are such a great bonus! I love getting a glimpse of how my pup spends her time there. I'm so thankful they opened their doors in Crestwood--this place is truly a gem, and I couldn't be happier with the care my pup receives!

I was really nervous for my dog because she love people and very hyper. The groomer was so nice and help me out. We did had little issues to put leash on because my dog was too exciting. It was first time for my dog to be attended by groomer. I only want my dog to have her nails trimmed and will make an appointment for bath later in the future because I want my dog to trust the groomer. But in overall, she did great job. But there is one of my concern is that it would be nice if they would text me to let me know that they are on their way because of my apartment have door code that required access. Also it would be nice if they inform that they would be little late because I had no idea if they arrived on time. But in overall, I would use their services again.

I made an online appointment at Crestwood Animal Hospital for my dog's first visit because she…read moresimply needed her vaccines updated. The next day, they called with a few questions and asked about my dog's age. They told me that if she was a puppy, the visit would cost around $200. I explained that she was 4 years old, not a puppy. Surprisingly, they never even asked for her actual birthdate and instead entered a random birthday into her records. When I arrived for the appointment, the staff was not very friendly. They informed me that my dog would have to receive a "first visit package" for $355.10, which included several exams that were never even performed. To make matters worse, their website advertised $25 off the first visit, but that discount was never applied. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that they took my dog out of the exam room to give her vaccines. I've never had a veterinary office do that before, and it made me uneasy. There were just too many things that went wrong during this visit. The inaccurate information in my dog's records, the unexpected charges, the advertised discount not being honored, the exams that weren't performed, and the overall lack of professionalism made this the worst veterinary experience I've ever had. I genuinely do not recommend Crestwood Animal Hospital. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid the stress and anxiety that this visit caused me.
