Their the only dog treats that don't make my Shetland Sheltie sick. I recently stopped due to the high price, and found out that Tops now carries the Blue Buffalo dog treats for about $4 cheaper. That being said Tops only has two different flavors, so when I want to splurge and get the Pumpkin flavor, I do come back and by from Petco! My niece not only has me taking her here, but also about three other family members. All staff encounters have been friendly. My only thing is that the pictures on here from Petco advertising is a little misleading. The pictures they show seem to be for a bigger Petco location, and this location just doesn't seem to have all the features the pictures on their adverts show.

I was kind of shocked because I'd never been in that store and had no idea what all was sold there. To my surprise, not only did they have the food I wanted to try for my pup but they had tons of toys, chews, treats and supplements. The best part is that a lot of the items I bought elsewhere were way cheaper at this store. I was shocked that we'd been going to stores branded specifically for pet and paying almost double some of the prices I found here. I will be shopping here more often. My friend and I stumbled upon this fantastic cat adoption centre in the otherwise dead mall that is Niagara Centre. In the front area, they stock odds and ends (water bottles, t-shirts, etc) to raise proceeds for their efforts. The back of the store is the really impressive part; it's divided by a floor-to-ceiling chain link fence with a gate, and they have dozens of cats wandering free. The area is the size of a large living room, and it's filled with all sort of furniture for the cats to climb/sleep on, as well as toys. There's an area in the very back marked "employees only" where the cats are free to retreat to if they need the litter box, food, or just a quiet place to hide. The employees are happy to let anyone in with the cats to visit, and you're free to pet or play with them, or just let them come to you. It's a great setup, almost like a cat cafe, where you can get to know your future pet on their home turf. No cages, so the cats aren't stressed out. One cat in particular approached us for attention, and we happily petted her and fed her some treats while she purred non-stop. The other cats casually strolled around or slept, not bothered by us in the slightest. I only wish I lived nearby, because I'd love to visit all the time. It's probably for the best, since I'd want to take all of the cats home.

PetPlanet is a pet store I stumbled upon with my dog named Dude and have been a regular of for the…read morelast year, the staff in PetPlanet are extremely friendly, love animals and are very knowledgeable about various pet products. There are 3 staff that work at the Brant Street location and all of them are terrific, if you haven't experienced this store before check it out on a Friday which is the day when you get free dog treats if you bring your dog into the location with NO PURCHASE necessary. Be warned the prices on much of the products in the store are rather expensive but that is because the quality of the product is above what you will find at most locations however there are several decent products to buy which are rather cheap such as their individual cookies, pig ears and raw or baked marrow bones which are three of my dogs favorite treats. They also price match, once confirmed they will match the price of a competitor for identical items. This location also offers a full self-washing facility complete with a locking door and locking gate for their tub which is large enough to accommodate several hundred pounds of dog (it makes me 102 pound lab look small). Do yourself a favor and experience what Mike and others have to offer at this location and I'm sure you'll keep coming back specifically to say hello to them and just be in a friendly environment.

We were given 6 sample packs of dog food when our new pooch woudln't eat much and great advice that lead us to find the food HE likes. All free of charge. They also found pet rat food in bulk for us within a week and let us know so they would order it in for us. They are honest and straight forward and friendly. The store is a little crowded, but organized and you'll be asked if you need help right away anyways. I dont go anywhere else anymore
