Tried this place when our usual was closed and it did not disappoint! Fast service and good portions. My boyfriend and I both ordered smaller but it was the perfect size for us. I also ordered the spring rolls and they were super fresh. Everything had good flavor, I read some reviews saying the broth tatsted weird but honestly it tatsted fine to me. Once we ordered our food the only time we saw the waiter again was when they dropped off the food, and my boyfriend ordered a sprite that they forgot about so that's why I took off one star. However, we will definitely be back! It's also super clean inside which is a plus. read more

The chicken Pho broth tastes odd, not sure what they are using. Never had something taste like this before. It's not necessarily bad and some may like it but the spices are off . Also ordered the BBQ short ribs plate. The ribs were 90% fat with barely any actual meat to eat. Rice, and cucumber salad were good. Not sure if we will order again. read more

Went in with my family of 6 for our first time. We got the tab and seen they added on a tip. We paid for it but the service we got was not worth the tip. The only times we were checked on by the waiter were when we got seated, ordered, and got our food. They never came by to ask for refills of water, or if we needed anything else. Poor customer service. On a take out order realized when I got home that I was over charged by $20.00, plus I left the tip on the higher price. There were no side sauces in the order either. When I went to complain, the person at the register was not apologetic at all and was actually chuckling at me. And gave me back the $20.00 with no comps. This is was my first time coming here today, went okay at first. Service was okay and appetizers were decent- I was absolutely disgusted when I heard a someone cutting their nails??? It wasn't busy so I know what I heard, and it was confirmed when I went up to pay for my wife and I when I saw a man get up from where he was sitting. I am a big fan of Pho and eat it at least once a week. I really wanted to like this new place. First, the restaurant is very nice with modern decor and comfortable seating. We were seated quickly and our order was taken promptly. They were out of many drink options and their menu is very limited. They basically had beef and chicken pho and several add in options, two types of spring rolls and a chicken rice dish. The spring rolls were good but the peat nut sauce was very bland. My husband ordered the chicken rice dish which consisted of 1 scoop of rice a few strands of bland chicken shreds and that is it. They did not bring him the small cup of chicken soup which was supposed to be included. This cost approximately $10.00. It was way over priced for 1 scoop of bland rice. I had the chicken Pho. The broth had this odd vinegar taste and the soup consisted of a small amount of rice noodles a few onion slices and bland chicken shreds. They didn't even have soy sauce to try and flavor the soup. I observed numerous other couples making similar comments about the bland food. I am hoping that the owners can make some changes to their menu, adding other options and improving the flavor and portion sizes. I wish the owners the best of luck and will try their restaurant again in a month or so. read more

Me and my wife visited the restaurant on 7/3/21. First thing I can say that the environment looks clean and fresh. As soon as you walk in the door you can see their big sign THE PHO the art of vietnamese culinary. We were sitted right away by one of the staff but at this time they only had a few customers. We were greeted by one of the waitstaff who was very shy and somehow didnt have a clue about their menu. I asked for the fried chicken that they have posted on their facebook page and was told that they dont have it since nobody asks for it. At this time this restaurant has a 4 page menu. My wife ordered the special combination pho and I ordered the chicken pho. Also we tried the fried eggroll, beef spring roll and shrimp spring roll. My wife liked her special pho but did not finish it. The broth in my chicken pho was bland and I had to modify it by adding some spice and soy sauce. The spring roll they offer are pre made as obviously when we order it came within 2 minutes. Each spring roll was about 2 inches long and didnt look like what they have on their menu. The sauce for spring roll was bland and was like peanut butter with water. The fried eggroll was okay and cant complain much about it. It seems like this restaurant opened up and havent figured out what they would serve for the public. Much disappointed with all the build up they have on their fb page. And please if you are gonna put the art of Vietnamese culinary under the restaurant name maybe offer more Vietnamese cuisine in the future . So ironic because the special they had was Korean style bbq ribs rice plate. This is just my review but everyone should try it and maybe they will have a different experience than me. read more

Customer service is horrible asked what was in this dish they couldn't answer me. No drinks available so had ice water. We got our food an they sat it down an walked away not a word or who's bowl is who's nothing. And the food was all wrong from what we ordered and the meat I had pieces of just white fat yes Fat not even meat an the steak that I had I chewed for ever an had to spit it out couldn't even break it down To swallow. This is one of the best pho restaurants I've ever been to. Their large bowls are truly large! The broth comes out piping hot and delicious. They also provide more meat than any other pho restaurant I've been to. Their chopsticks are great quality (and forks too) instead of the usual single-use wooden chopsticks at most pho places. The food is mediocre at best. Came in on a weeknight during a more busy time and it was very apparent that the staff was extremely overwhelmed with little to no help from the owners that were present. The servers were very young and continued to apologize for issues that were obviously not on them. It was an awful experience to witness the poor treatment the workers seemed to take in from their higher-ups and the quality of food was not worth it anyways. I been doing their since it opened the 1 st time was good but after that time nope !!!! I really really have been eating pho for years this time I told the cook the meatballs on the soup were not ok. He said that nobody had complained but that was not my concern, it was food poisoning or maybe me getting sick he didn't even come over offer to change it etc. the other time they gave me the wrong food they argued I asked for it !!!! So nope we will not come back if they don't care about paying customer issues when is legit specially because is food I never have argued about what I eat but do not eat in places that may get me or my kiddos sick. Great flavors but not so great with the portions consistency. There would be times where they are barely any steak in the #1 combo, the meat overall are little sliver pieces. Could def cut a little bigger pieces. Springs rolls has gotten better from when they first opened, it was so tiny before, now they're decent size. Vietnamese coffee was way too sweet, maybe more coffee next time instead of loading all that condense milk. Arguably one of the best if not the best Pho in town. Coming from a big city to a relatively small secluded area of California where diversity is limited, which unfortunately means cuisine is as well - it's hard to get by food wise. This place is definitely at the top of my list of places to go for a good meal. Their broth is flavorful, it's not too sweet as many of the ones around town are. The portion size is great. It sure has limited options regarding what's on the menu. But that just makes it easier to pin down what to eat. I would enjoy it even more if they added Dau Chao Quay as an appetizer to pair with the pho! Also their taro slush was great as well. I definitely recommend coming here. read more

I always come back here with my boyfriend since they're quality is always consistent!! He lives in the bay and there's lots of pho places there but we always like going back here. New pho place in town! The store Itself is so pretty and elegant! I love their bbq rice plate and their bbq spring roll super delicious! As for the pho I always order number 4 the broth is perfectly seasoning and flavorful. Highly recommend checking this place out! Everything taste so good here and great customer service. Couldn't wait to try the Pho, from all the buildup on Facebook! We go to Pho Bac noodle Palace on McHenry as regulars, don't waste your time or money at the Pho! We walked in and ordered some beef spring rolls, and two bowls of beef pho, The spring rolls were more like a salad in a roll little to no meat! Soon as they brought our pho to the table we asked for basil and cilantro and they had neither one! That pissed me off right to begin with!Then the broth has no flavor whatsoever, and they give you very little noodles and I ordered a large bowl ! What kind of a Pho place serves Pho with no cilantro or basil ?? That's one of our favorite parts! I will never come back and they were very unapologetic!! Waste of my $32! If you want great pho, go to Pho Bac noodle palace on McHenry across from Walgreens!!! If it was possible I would give The Pho 1/2 of a star! read more
