Reuben sandwich.

Very nice and unique restaurant in Forsyth, GA. The menu includes salads, sandwitches, chicken wings, and other basic items. Absolutely fantastic, friendly service that you do not find easily from typical chain venues. The sandwiches were tasty, and fried okra as authentic as it can get.

The Pickled Okra offers delicious Southern Style American food at a reasonable price on the historic Forsyth-Monroe County Courthouse Square. The staff is very friendly and make sure that your dining experience is satisfactory before you and your party leaves. They also have a delightful and fun event planned every night they are open but the Taco Week celebration each year brings out the BEST people. However, my favorite food is the bacon, fried egg and cheese sandwich with fried okra, it's amazing! When you enter The Pickled Okra it has a warm, relaxed feeling of sports bar meets historic museum. The walls are decorated with so much memorabilia and interesting things like antique bicycles to NFL player jerseys. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to TPO and can easily award 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for the owners, staff and delicious food & cold drinks at The Pickled Okra.

Club sandwich with fried okra

Found this place on Yelp- originally was going to visit the grits place but decided I wanted a good club sandwich. I loved this place bc they asked me if I wanted the bread toasted- which I don't bc toasted scratches up the top of my mouth. Anyway, then the wait was and I were talking about coffee and she recommended a place a few blocks from there called the queen bee coffee.. also amazing. Friendly staff, loved the decor, simple, easy, cute and good food

My first time here. It's right in down town of a small town of Forsyth. Really nice cute shops and little restaurants. So I was craving sandwiches but not wanting a sub shop. I looked it up and found this place. Came in during lunch and it was busy so I had to sit in the bar section but not at the bar. The server was nice, the place is cute it has old trinkets. So I order a sweetie and Reuben sandwich with fries. They were busy so it took a little longer but it was expected for lunch time. I was near the kitchen and you can hear the cook called out ready! It was pretty loud! Well the food was okay but I can't compare to a great Reuben sandwich I had in the past but it did the job. Overall I would come again and try something else. Not bad at all!

Everything was fried. The cheese curds were great! Would definitely come back for a snack but I'd order something not fried (not much of a selection). Service was so so.

Buffalo wrap and sweet potato fries. Tea in a frosted mug.

Nice lunch spot in downtown Forsyth. Parking can be challenging, but it's an easy walk. I tried the Caesar wrap and the buffalo wrap. Both were good with a side of sweet potato fries. On second visit they were out of ice. I am always curious how far a business will go with service when they are compromised on something like being out of ice. Since I wanted tea, which was warm from brewing, the waitress asked if I would try it in a frosted mug from the bar. Creative solution. AND she came with a to go cup WITH ice before I left. Outdoor dining is nice at lunch when weather is good. Christina was waitress and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care.

What a fun, local hangout! It has two places to eat. There is a bar side and a "family side". We ate in the bar. We loved the southwest egg rolls the best! Second favorite was a tie between the wings and the onion rings. Third favorite was the tator tots ! We also has the club sandwich but we were not fans! It was boring! We will be back!

Found this great pizza shop after leaving the local KOA and doing some exploring downtown Forsyth…read more This is a great pizza joint with a very welcoming staff, the sidewalk seating was nearly filled so we grabbed a corner booth inside next to the large windows facing the street. We were immediately greeted by Ella who provided outstanding service during our visit she was very attentive and continued to check in on us ensuring our drinks were always filled. We order a 14" pepperoni, italian sausage with extra cheese and cooked crispy, the crust was amazing and all the toppings were of good quality and plentiful. This seemed to be a very popular restaurant on Friday afternoon with a great takeout business. They are definitely dog friendly at the outdoor seating area and there were plenty pups enjoying the afternoon with their owners. This is pizza I'd return for if back in the area we had a great experience...

Wow! If you're in the area and craving amazing pizza, you absolutely have to check this place out…read more I stumbled upon it in my search and I'm so glad I did! This isn't your average pizza joint; with their delicious stone-baked crusts, it truly feels like pizza made to order, giving you a wonderful, personal experience. And you can order by slice! My favorite was the white pizza with cauli-flour crust - delicious! We got there just in time, beating the Friday rush, because about 20 minutes after we sat down, the place was bustling with both to-go orders and new diners. It might look small from the front, but don't be fooled - there's seating outside and a good amount in the back. The layout is a little quirky (you pass the server's drink station on the way to the back and restrooms), but it adds to the charm. I also appreciated that the manager walked around, checking in with everyone - a really nice touch! The food is delicious - so much so that I even took a pizza to go for later! Next time, I'm definitely going to try one of their specials (I didn't see them written at the counter until after I ordered!) and one of their signature alcohol slushies. I'll be back!

They couldn't figure out how to make sure my order was right on the computer so she got the manager. The manager told the people making the sandwiches that I just wanted a turkey sub. We waited for a while. Get our subs and mine had BBQ on it. I asked the girl I ordered from and she said "you saw me ask right??" And it definitely wasn't her fault. And they did remake my sandwich. But my family was finished eating and ready to leave before I finally got my food. Also 1/2 of the drink machine was out of order and they had no clue. We were excited that there was a food place closer to the ball field but not sure that we will be coming back any time soon.

That explains the smaller location, and folks, it's tight in there! But they make it work. Miss Jen at the register was patient and kind. Food is quick and we were satisfied. We ordered the small subs, which for me are perfectly fine, but they are not for the hungry sided folks. The meatball subs were super hot, which I'm not complaining about, but tell your kiddos to wait a second before handling! Needed a firefighter to put that out! Kids meals come with either chips or a cookie. You can upgrade fries for $1.50 which I may do next time. I sampled all the hot sauces, it's my kryptonite. That was nice. Check this location out, very friendly. Cleanliness wise, not bad, it's hard to have one person cleaning and taking orders out of the door. Not sure why I didn't see a manager walking around.
