    Reuben sandwich.

Very nice and unique restaurant in Forsyth, GA. The menu includes salads, sandwitches, chicken wings, and other basic items. Absolutely fantastic, friendly service that you do not find easily from typical chain venues. The sandwiches were tasty, and fried okra as authentic as it can get.

The Pickled Okra offers delicious Southern Style American food at a reasonable price on the historic Forsyth-Monroe County Courthouse Square. The staff is very friendly and make sure that your dining experience is satisfactory before you and your party leaves. They also have a delightful and fun event planned every night they are open but the Taco Week celebration each year brings out the BEST people. However, my favorite food is the bacon, fried egg and cheese sandwich with fried okra, it's amazing! When you enter The Pickled Okra it has a warm, relaxed feeling of sports bar meets historic museum. The walls are decorated with so much memorabilia and interesting things like antique bicycles to NFL player jerseys. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to TPO and can easily award 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for the owners, staff and delicious food & cold drinks at The Pickled Okra.

Found this place on Yelp- originally was going to visit the grits place but decided I wanted a good club sandwich. I loved this place bc they asked me if I wanted the bread toasted- which I don't bc toasted scratches up the top of my mouth. Anyway, then the wait was and I were talking about coffee and she recommended a place a few blocks from there called the queen bee coffee.. also amazing. Friendly staff, loved the decor, simple, easy, cute and good food

My first time here. It's right in down town of a small town of Forsyth. Really nice cute shops and little restaurants. So I was craving sandwiches but not wanting a sub shop. I looked it up and found this place. Came in during lunch and it was busy so I had to sit in the bar section but not at the bar. The server was nice, the place is cute it has old trinkets. So I order a sweetie and Reuben sandwich with fries. They were busy so it took a little longer but it was expected for lunch time. I was near the kitchen and you can hear the cook called out ready! It was pretty loud! Well the food was okay but I can't compare to a great Reuben sandwich I had in the past but it did the job. Overall I would come again and try something else. Not bad at all!

Everything was fried. The cheese curds were great! Would definitely come back for a snack but I'd order something not fried (not much of a selection). Service was so so.

Buffalo wrap and sweet potato fries. Tea in a frosted mug.

Nice lunch spot in downtown Forsyth. Parking can be challenging, but it's an easy walk. I tried the Caesar wrap and the buffalo wrap. Both were good with a side of sweet potato fries. On second visit they were out of ice. I am always curious how far a business will go with service when they are compromised on something like being out of ice. Since I wanted tea, which was warm from brewing, the waitress asked if I would try it in a frosted mug from the bar. Creative solution. AND she came with a to go cup WITH ice before I left. Outdoor dining is nice at lunch when weather is good. Christina was waitress and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care.

What a fun, local hangout! It has two places to eat. There is a bar side and a "family side". We ate in the bar. We loved the southwest egg rolls the best! Second favorite was a tie between the wings and the onion rings. Third favorite was the tator tots ! We also has the club sandwich but we were not fans! It was boring! We will be back!

This is more of a 4.5 review but I really wanted to try to bring up their rating since I feel like…read morethe 2.5 is really low, especially after our experience here. We came on a Monday about 8:30 and were seated promptly. We drove out of our way to come since it was my sister's birthday and she was nostalgic about Shoney's and this was the closest one (about an hour away.) Our drinks came right out and we went to the breakfast bar. I was not expecting such a huge selection of food. At least 2 kinds of biscuits, multiple different gravies, breakfast casseroles, hashbrowns, grits, fried bologna, bacon, eggs, sausage patties, sausage links, pancakes, French toast, fried apples, strawberry shortcake, dirty rice, A SALAD BAR that included a fruit selection, fried potatoes, mushrooms, Philly steak, and MORE!!!! Now let's be honest...this is a BUFFET. Some of the food was fresher than others but I saw them replace numerous items during our visit. Nothing tasted off and some food was better than others, but overall, I believe this was a excellent deal for $15/per person. Sharon was our waitress and kept our drinks topped off and plates cleared away. She was a sweetheart and we really appreciated her friendliness. You could tell that the decor, furniture, etc was older but everything was clean and seemed to be in good repair. Even the bathrooms were fresh and clean. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and plan on returning when we're in the area.

They need to specify when they say they close at 8pm , they really mean 7pm you will not get served . Would have stopped earlier to Golden Corral . Now I'm back tracking after a long day and not very happy about it .
