I haven't been here in a while and initially wanted a pancake but decided on the salmon breakfast. The consistency of the grits was really nice. The egg was cooked well. Now the salmon and the biscuits. They lacked a lot of flavor. The salmon needed much seasoning and onion. I really could not sense it was actually salmon with the blandness of it. The biscuits didn't have a buttery taste. Something was missing to give them that umphh. I would definitely go back, but I would revert back to ordering country ham if they still have it. They definitely have great prices, I will say. Kudos for giving customers pockets a break. Customer service is always friendly. 3.5 stars for today's visit.

I gave three stars for customer service the staff was pretty awesome proficient and helpful the inside was clean it wasn't that busy so I was in and out... *The Food* the food was less than mediocre I should've listened to my mom when she said I'll cook you breakfast at home because this was a waste of $7 bucks the food was bland the fried steak tasted like corn dogs (not sure how that's possible but that's what I tasted) my toast was too buttery I read reviews that this was the best place for breakfast hands down not sure if I went on a bad day or it was an off day for them but to sum it up I won't return.

Drive through line (my regular spot)

This is my restaurant that pop in on drive through get the entire family something. They have several meat options as well that meets the demand of my family as well. George and his entire staff are always friendly, polite, and very efficient in serving quality food. Awesome you can't go wrong @ Johnny V's!!!

Don't waste your time at Mickey D's. Come here instead. For $5.70 you get a combo with two hotdogs or two hamburgers with fries and a drink. I asked for one of each so I can try them both. I was told breakfast is really good. Have to come back and try it. 3 stars only because it's a first visit. Everyone is really nice and the food is much better than fast food junk. Don't waste your money at a chain fast food joint. Come here instead.

Got the salad & it was a pretty underdone piece of salmon after asking for it well done. Asked the waiter why it wasn't blackened (out of curiosity) still ate it & called it good & told me we had to ask for it blackened. It was a very basic boring salad with a frozen piece of salmon for $20. My husband ordered a burger & fries. The burger was really good & he got goat cheese & bacon on it. The fries on the other hand were not it. Bummer because they are supposedly hand cut. They were drenched in oil. Like to the point that you couldn't even eat a few without feeling awful. They were soggy & heavy. Think homemade fries but in a super old fryer with lots of crisco. Overall very underwhelming for a place with such high reviews. Won't be back! Gotta step up it up if you guys plan to stay in business for another 50 years!

But once inside you figure out quickly it is truly a hidden gem. The spinach dip was so good, the waitress was so accommodating and nice and appeared to give honest feedback when asked about her dish preferences. By far the star of the show was the red snapper. I was scared it would be dry but boy was I wrong!!! It was seasoned to perfection and so hot and delicious...can't believe I almost passed on it. It's been a struggle to find good food in Macon but this place checks all the boxes and I hope it stays around for years to come!

Located in Downtown Macon, parking is available via street parking. Finding a close spot on the weekend is like winning the Mega Million, possible, but don't count on it. We lucked up on this night and found a spot directly across from the restaurant. As we made our way to the entrance, we were unexpectedly greeted by a woman passionately yelling obscenities at us. Nothing like a little downtown ambiance to set the mood. Thankfully, the heavy police presence on every corner made me feel safe enough to proceed to the restaurant. Once inside, the chaos faded instantly. We were welcomed by a gregarious and friendly staff, informed them of our reservation, and were seated immediately. On this particular Saturday, they weren't overly busy, so we even had the luxury of choosing which booth best suited our comfort level. The atmosphere is intimate and upscale without being stuffy. Think dim lighting, elegant music, exposed ceilings, and décor that says "rustic charm" but also "yes, this entrée will cost more than $30." Our waiter was professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, the kind of service that makes you relax and stop checking the time. We started with cocktails: I ordered the strawberry lemon drop martini, and my husband opted for an old fashioned. Both were well-crafted, smooth, and strong enough to make us forget about the crazy lady outside. For appetizers, we each ordered the crab cake. You get one small crab cake, but it was tasty and respectable by Middle Georgia standards. Entrées are à la carte, so order accordingly. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with Brussels sprouts and spinach, while my husband chose the salmon with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Both fish dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted fresh, with sauces that paired beautifully. The Brussels sprouts were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. My husband said his mashed potatoes were possibly the creamiest he's ever had. All of the food was outstanding. Dessert options include their 3rd & Cherry cobbler, cheesecake, and crème brûlée. Heads up: desserts are made to order and take about 20 minutes. Translation, order dessert early unless you're prepared to sit there long enough to contemplate life choices. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, which always earns bonus points. Overall, we had a lovely experience at 3rd & Cherry. It's an excellent choice for a special occasion, date night, or anytime you want to feel a little fancy without leaving Middle Georgia. We'll definitely be back.
