I eat there quite often when working at the New Depot Players work shop where we build the scenery for the 5 shows a year we do. I love the steamed hot dogs, called the Bull Dog. great place for a fast sandwich. I liked going there so much I donated a watercolor painting of the place, which hangs on the right as you walk in. (I am a famous watercolor artist). the people are super nice, and will accommodate anything you ask. Update, October 2024: It's been more than three years since I posted my last review. I've dined here many more times, and I have never had a bad meal. I've enjoyed several sandwiches and salads, but must admit I've never tried the pizza or hotdogs. However, I have a friend who craves the pizza and orders one every week. (The only reason I've never tried one is because there are so many good sandwiches and so little time!) I drove past this location on my way to the local library. Glad I came back! Thanks to some solid Yelp reviews, I figured I'd have a good lunch here. Thanks to the previous three people that ordered right before me, I'd have the Chicken Med Wrap please. All the same- must be a favorite! It didn't disappoint. The men's restroom needs a new sink handle- it literally fell off in my hand. The main lady/owner? was walking around asking people who had which sandwich. This is a cute little spot in downtown Conyers, a throwback to soda fountain/deli counter places from the 50s. There are even photos of Elvis on the wall, which I absolutely loved. It's nothing fancy, but it's super cute and very homey. I was just passing through, but I got the feeling most of the people eating lunch when I visited were regulars. The restaurant advertises its Reuben as the star of the show, so I decided to order that. All of the meat and cheese is Boar's Head, and the bread was scrumptious. My sandwich was enormous, more than I could eat, and a simple pickle was the perfect accompaniment. Saw other reviews about the sandwiches and decided to check it out. It didn't disappoint. It's a smaller shop with limited seating. Seems more like a place that people would get their food to go. It took a little longer than expected for the sandwiches, but there were just two people working hard on taking care of all the customers. My husband said definitely in his top three best Ruebens he has ever had. The bread was a little thin, but that was his only complaint. He said the russian dressing was killer. I had the Cuban and it was delicious! Very filling and the bread was so good. Also tried the potato salad, and it was a classic southern version, very good. Will come back here if in town! read more

We are down here doing the Vampire diaries tour and decided to stop in for a quick bite. The Sandwich Factory is a decent size with plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting. The staff was very friendly and took the time when making the sandwiches to see if we wanted to add anything else. They offer breakfast, salads, pre design sandwich ideas and the ability to make your own. The prices were great for the amount of food that was delivered with combos of brownies, cookies or chips and fountain Coke products. Had a Cuban sandwich which is pictured, all the meats are Boar Head as well. The only complaint I have of the place is for some reason it was very smoky, not sure if it was due to cooking the meats or something with the HVAC, but it didn't take awhile from the experience. read more

I am going to give this place a 5 not only because of their sandwiches but also on their Red Wine Vinegar, AND the fact that they put all the soda flavors on a picture board for those who go through the drive thru. Lived here my whole life & had never been here but I will certainly be returning! Probably the best rueben I've ever had, especially for the price. We also had the tomato soup which was delicious. The ladies at the counter were so sweet & knew several customers by name. We also loved looking at all the antiques & photos. Food wasn't somthing I would pay for, the people working there were very odd in how they handle us. I asked for avocado on my sandwich and the girl making my sandwhich put the hardest pieces of avocado on my sandwhich. She was struggle so hard with the avocado my mind was blow she continue to put it on my sandwhich to the point she couldn't even get the skin off the pieces of avocado. We also had the tuna and the tub they had it sitting in look unpleasant, instead of mixing the juices up in the container she proceeded to grab from the side idk it was just strange. I had the chicken salad club served on croissant & it was excellent! They let me taste the chicken salad first cause I really don't like sweet chicken salad. I like that kind of service. The other sandwiches I've tried have also been consistently good. Reasonably priced for the better than average quality. Not only is the food amazing but the service is as well. I've been a regular customer for a while now. Doordash couldn't reach me to switch out part of my order. I called the store and was still able to get it substituted with no issue. And figured out a way to get me some lunch without the hassle of reordering through Doordash. The decor seemed to match the Old Towne feel of the area - homey and simple, yet welcoming. I ordered a turkey sub on wheat, and my brother ordered a barbeque beef sandwich on an onion roll. They were both well presented. The sandwiches were a little smaller than I expected, but on reflection, were appropriately priced for their size - and were filling without being too big. Terrible first experience on their "grand reopening" day! My husband and I went on our lunch breaks, and literally waited almost 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches. They took so long in fact, we had to get them to go in order not to be late for work! Kitchen is obviously ill equipped to handle more then 4 people in the resteraunt at a time. The sandwich prep area is tiny, and the poor staff was constantly bumping into each other trying to work. A snappy woman took our order when we arrived, and we were given a ticket to hold until our turn to present it to the kitchen staff. The women making the sandwiches were clearly flustered and had no hairnets - although baseball caps were keeping at least most of their hair back. The kicker though was the rude cashier. She and another gentleman were arguing with each other about where the ice machine should be placed and how people couldn't "see her" to pay. I stood patiently waiting to pay and to ask for a to go bag and they made no notice of me for a good 5 minutes. Only when I acknowledged to the woman that I had been there for forty five minutes and was going to be late back to work did she act apologetic, and even then did not seem to care. Although I was so mad at this point I could've just left the food and walked out. My husband and I love to support small businesses, but will not be supporting this one in the near future! Maybe I'll try it again once they work out the kinks, as the food was decent, but the nightmare of an experience will haunt me for quite awhile. read more
