Always good. Somehow Yelp keeps asking me to review yet again. So here it is. Beware of shocking parking fees but the food makes up for it.

Our review is long overdue, and now that things have settled down, we wanted to share our AMAZING…read moreexperience with Tiana and her team! We found Tiana through an IG ad, where she promoted Exotic Green Garden along with an all-inclusive wedding package at Lake Lindero Golf Course. The Exotic Green Garden IG page looked beautiful, and the package was within our budget, so we decided to reach out to learn more. Upon meeting Tiana, she was super friendly and honest about the costs, what can be personalized, and was patient in answering our many questions. We left the meeting feeling like we made a new friend, but still wanted to explore other options as she was the very first vendor we met in our wedding planning journey. After a week or so of reaching out to other florists, we decided that nobody could beat what Tiana offered, and her lovely personality was a huge plus. It was an easy decision to book Tiana as our florist, coordinator, and the wedding package for our wedding on October 4th, 2025 at Lake Lindero Golf Course. Leading up to our wedding, Tiana was very communicative with us every step of the way. It was so easy to reach her and hear back in a timely manner, whether it was through email, text, or a phone call. She was always ready to address our questions and concerns, and put our mind at ease. She even gave us suggestions on how to save money with our florals, which we truly appreciated. In addition to Tiana, we also worked with Adena (her sister) and Lance (her father and our officiant). We met Lance via FaceTime a few months before so he could learn about us, and he was so kind and funny that we knew he'd do a wonderful job making our ceremony go smoothly. He even had an additional call with us and sent reminder texts to make sure we were aware of what's needed for the day. We met Adena at our wedding rehearsal, where we learned she would be our day of coordinator instead. We were a little surprised since we thought Tiana would do this. But Adena re-assured us that she was familiar with the schedule and during the rehearsal, we were relieved to see how personable she was, and her professionalism matched that of Tiana and Lance, and we knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments from our guests on how much they loved the florals. We didn't see Tiana on our wedding day, but definitely felt how much love and care she put into them as they turned out beautiful, like exact replicas of our Pinterest photos. Several of our guests even snuck some away, which we didn't know till the end of the night lol! Our guests also praised Lance on how he conducted our ceremony and made it feel personable to us. Throughout the wedding, Adena constantly checked in on us to make sure we were hydrated, feeling ok, and keeping us informed about the schedule. She even jumped in to help cut a roast pig, which we did not expect her to do as we were expecting a specific guest to do it (who ended up not attending). We loved that Adena was so on top of everything the whole evening, while having a smile the whole time. We still reminisce about our wedding day, and how wonderful it was thanks to Tiana, Adena, and Lance. Even though it's been a few months, our guests still mention how lovely our wedding was, which makes us so happy to know that we chose a fantastic team. We highly recommend Tiana and her family/team for your wedding or special event. Thank you Tiana, Adena, and Lance for making our day feel extra special!!!

I would like to give a shout out to Tiana's assistant coordinator, Adena. Her personality and hands-on approach made the wedding day very memorable and the guests feel comfortable. Also, her recommendation for Lance , the Officiant, was perfect. His wit, humor and style helped keep us relaxed and calm and alleviate our nervousness. The whole process from beginning to end will continue to bring smiles to our faces for a lifetime.

From start to finish, Courtney was an absolute delight to work with. She is incredibly organized, kept every detail and every person on track with ease, and did it all with such warmth, kindness, and positivity. She truly is a bright light. I am definitely not someone who was born to plan parties, so having Courtney to bounce ideas off of and guide us through the planning process took an enormous weight off my shoulders. My mom passed away a few years ago and I was afraid to plan a wedding on my own, but Courtney became more than a planner she became my friend. She made every decision feel manageable and always made us feel confident that everything was under control. On our wedding day, I never once felt stressed or overwhelmed. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and I was able to be completely present for every special moment instead of worrying about logistics. Seeing everything come together so beautifully was beyond anything we could have imagined, and that was all thanks to Courtney's incredible work behind the scenes. I also want to mention our DJ Brian (who we were able to hire alongside Courtney in a contract together). He also deserves all the praises - there was not one moment where the dance floor wasn't filled and he was SUCH a talented DJ. The online program he used to help compile our song requests was so easy to use and he was so engaging the entire time with our guests. Thank you Brian! We are so happy we trusted you as our DJ, all our family and friends raved about you.  Not to be confused with our amazing DJ - I also would love to recommend DJ Catering. Doug and Courtney have worked together for years and their teamwork was flawless. I had so many people tell us after the wedding that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, by far. And being able to rent all the tables etc through them made the process so simple.  Anyone looking for a wedding coordinator who is organized, professional, genuinely kind, and truly invested in making your day perfect, I cannot recommend Courtney and One Sweet Day Weddings & Events highly enough. She gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy one of the best days of our lives, and for that we will always be grateful.    P.S. Courtney thank you for being the most prepared person ever and sewing my button back on my dress mid wedding we love you! You are the best. Thank you so much for being part of our story.

Coming from the mother of the grooms perspective and being a little old school, I didn't initially grasp the hiring of a Wedding Coordinator, however, it was the best decision that they made...... aside from getting married ;) Courtney allowed me to be involved (bride and groom approved) and she was kind, gracious and meticulously organized and kept me in the loop without missing a beat. Everything from start to finish was better than I could have imagined or hoped for. She is truly a special person as well as incredibly professional.

After that, it goes downhill - but that is precisely when it matters most. She didn't really help me throughout the planning process and wasn't proactive in asking me what I needed and what holes needed to be filled the months leading up to the wedding. Her package says it's month of coordination (or maybe she even refers to it as partial planning, which it definitely is not) but it's truly just day of. Her assistant was slow and she and Kim couldn't find stuff on the day of even though I had labeled all of the items and boxes clearly. She does the bare minimum and for what she charges, it is simply not worth it. If I hadn't been so organized and on top of it, I know my wedding wouldn't have gone well. *The month before our wedding, she acted super erratic on the day of our venue logistics meeting/walkthrough/tasting, talking very fast and way too much about random things totally unrelated to our wedding. It was like she was there to have fun and eat/drink as a guest rather than to be helping us take care of important business. We were embarrassed and uncomfortable by her behavior but I told my husband not to rock the boat because we had already signed a contract with her and I didn't want it to affect our wedding day. I kept having to redirect her to stay on task. She also kept talking about other couples she was working with and how she was annoyed with them changing their wedding plans by moving up their wedding date. I don't know why our wedding planner would be talking about that during our meeting. I had to do the same thing of keeping her on task during our actual rehearsal, because we needed to stay on schedule to get to our rehearsal dinner venue on time. She just kept chatting like she had all the time in the world. This seems like a pattern with her. Plain and simple, I should not have to follow up with and manage someone who has been hired to help me do that. *A week or so before our wedding I emailed her with some updates/questions and it took a week to respond. I understand she is probably busy but I didn't feel like she prioritized our wedding in general. If a key component of your work is communicating and liaising with your clients, especially when there are only days remaining before their big day, you should respond quicker than three business days, which is what she says her response time is. That's too long IMO especially for time sensitive matters. *Kim never obtained/provided the room or ceremony lawn layout and asked at the actual rehearsal for the wedding how I wanted the tables in the ballrooms arranged. It is unbelievable that she only thought to ask this important question less than one day before the wedding. This is pretty standard for what planners provide - in fact they often provide renderings/AutoCAD floorplans. She does neither. Again, something I had to do myself. *Our dog was in the ceremony. I told her who was responsible for picking him up and taking him to our place after the ceremony, and provided her name and number. Kim didn't pick up her call. When she told Kim she called, Kim said "oh that was you? I don't pick up numbers from different area codes." Okay, but I Iiterally provided this person's first and last name and her number beforehand to avoid this situation. Other vendors working our wedding said they tried to call her multiple times that day and she didn't pick up. That is super disappointing to hear. She also didn't pick up my calls! *She has a few rentals but I feel the pricing is misleading. She only told me after I agreed to rent chargers from her that there was a "$10 cleaning fee." It's not about the $10. It's about transparently including that info in her materials. I felt like she pulled a bait and switch over a few things she did related to the petty cash amount (that she requires). Overall I felt like she nickel and dimes clients to do things she should include as part of her services. The services she provides for the price are super bare bones. *She also did/said things that I felt were unprofessional like she made references multiple times to us being Jewish/referencing a chuppah (which we did not have) despite knowing we weren't Jewish. One time, okay, you can chalk it up to a mistake or some sort of confusion. But multiple times? I don't know what she meant by this--it made me feel like she didn't care and/or didn't even know how to tell her couples apart. She also made multiple spelling errors/typos in her master timeline document that I had to correct. The wedding is now over but the final timeline still has some spelling errors. These are a few examples of things that she did that I felt shows she did not care about us, our wedding, and how she just did the bare minimum for a very high price (not worth it!)

We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Emily led us through rehearsal the day before and made sure the actual wedding day went smoothly. She made it possible for us to focus on enjoying the day with our friends and family, but still keep on schedule with her gentle reminders.
