The service was Meh. I wanted a nose piercing but was struggling to decide on the right spot since I have a wider nose. I got the nose piercing, and turns out the next day I wasn't happy with the placement. It was my fault and I took full responsibility for that, but when I came to have it removed I swear the piercing artist had an attitude about it and was very short. I was bleeding in the open wound after it was removed and she didn't even offer a tissue - the girl at the front desk was like "oh no! You're bleeding, do you want a tissue?" Duh lol... yea... that should be obvious. Then they charged me to take it out lol Idk.. this place is operated by very young girls/women that are lacking in customer service savvy. I went back to get another nose piercing two weeks later and am happier with the placement. They charged me for a full service again, not even acknowledging my first visit (I had to fill out all the paperwork again because they didn't want to look through their files) or checking the previous spot for healing. This time I had a different piercer - she was much better but still overall vibe of the place was off... will not be going back. read more

This is the first time I've been to an official piercing bar and not Claire's. My experience was amazing. I was having issues with an old helix piercing that I had done at Claire's that had healed up some after not having an earring in for about a year. I always had trouble with the piercing, and I never felt like it had fully healed after having it for 6 years. Bobby took care of re-piercing it for me and I've had it now for about four weeks. What a huge difference! Firstly, I felt very comfortable getting my ear pierced here and the whole process was quick and easy. My healing has been amazing. I feel like it's already completely healed! Look. I really hate to criticize because the girls are very friendly and I've had good experiences here in the past - but they are seriously disorganized . I came in for the Friday the 13th special. Checked in around 2; I was told the wait time was about 1.5 hours. I left, came back, waited some more, next thing I know it's 6:30 pm. Multiple people were confused (besides just myself) because it seemed like random numbers were being called out and not in order at all. Needless to say the anticipation for the piercing was gone by then and I left. Well I was so excited about getting my ear pierced today. I walked in with my wife and service dog. I was immediately told to take my dog outside. I advised the young lady that it was my service dog. She told me that I still had to remove my dog. I asked her if she knew the ADA laws dealing with service dogs. She replied no. The owner then walked out and asked me to remove my dog. I advised her that it was my service dog. She asked me if I had all my needed documents. I replied yes. She then said ok. The owner again walked out and asked me to remove my dog. I asked her if she knew the ADA laws. She told me that where she does the piercings is sterile and my dog could not go back there. I agreed with her. She then pointed to a sign saying she could refuse service for any reason, and she was refusing service to me. I advised her that she was refusing service because of my dog, and that she could not do that according to ADA. She still refused. I have a severe heart condition and my service dog can detect when I'm having a heart issue before I know it. I am 60 year old a veteran and I worked 30 years as a firefighter. All I wanted was one ear pierced. So thanks for giving me a bad day. This is my service dog. She's my hero. I went home and rested for a hour. I then look up places to get my ear pierced. I found Mint Condition Tattoo And Piercing. Wow what a difference. They were so cool. There was a young girl with her mom. And Sarah was so kind to them. When it was my turn. Sarah was so great. She explained everything to me. She was so welcoming to my service dog. I highly recommend them. Sarah treated this old man with a little bit of respect and honor. read more

Where do I begin?! I decided to celebrate Friday the 13th at The Piercing Bar! Just like any of my piercings and tattoos, they tend to be more of an impulsive decisions! I attempted to book an appointment online. However, they were booked! I confirmed with Sydney that they would be accepting walk ins, but to expect a wait. I arrived at 5:30 PM and was informed it would be a hour and forty five minute wait! It wasn't too bad considering I had a place to sit and I was able to make small conversation with those around! I have always found comfort in places like this as it's one common interest that brings others together! I loved the vibes of this shop and the variety of jewelry they had to offer! I also enjoy the fact you get pierced in a private room vs out in the open like most tattoo shops. The shop was extremely clean and sterile! After sitting for several hours, I was nervous when it was my turn! Sydney did an amazing job at making sure I was comfortable and walked me through each step. I have had several piercings done and this one was by far the easiest! She also made sure to show me how to flip it upwards and the aftercare required! I will be returning to the piercing bar for all of my piercing needs and recommend this shop 100%! read more
