First off my review is regarding the jewelry and the poor quality itself. My piercing itself was fine and nothing wrong with the piercer. I got a warranty for both of my earrings. Within 3 months one of the pair of earrings broke. I got the replacement last week and without even wearing it one single time one earring broke already just seems fishy that the same model of earring broke within 6 days when I refused to pay an additional $15 for a second warranty. I've never had earrings break this easily ever. I will say they did offer to let me buy another warranty to replace it and extend it to another year but I don't think that it's fair. ( if I had the earrings longer and worn them I would understand). Just fyi you're better off buying earrings somewhere else. read more

I had a hard time choosing where I wanted one of the piercings located on my cartilage and Jalen help choose the perfect spot. My only issue was that the young lady who helped me did not disclose all the extended service agreements she automatically applied to my purchase which resulted in $116 more. First this was hard for me to find so heads up it is a kiosk in front of forever 21. Thought it was an actual store. But once I got there it was the best experience. Took my 6 month old daughter today to get her ears pierced and had the best experience! I wish I remembered the girls name that did it for us, she was so sweet and so good at what she does. The overall process goes by so fast, the scariest part I want to say was the sound of the gun when it pierced. We made an appointment ahead of time, so I would definitely recommend doing so to guarantee someone is there that does the piercings. We bought the earrings there, the earrings come cased in so that the piece attaches right to the gun, and is sanitary. Walked in today and had an awesome experience with store manager Lou Ann. With Piercing Pagoda they have you purchase the ear rings and they do the piercing for free. Lou Ann took her time with my baby and I she explained the process thoroughly. Walked us through the home care experience and told us how the extended warranty works with the studs we chose. She inspected the dots for placement several times until it came out right. Lou Ann stayed "we'll change the placement until you're happy that's what matters." The studs come in the guns pre-packaged and sanitized. Lou Ann opened them in front of us as well as sanitized and put on gloves right in front of us. So there was no doubt she did her due diligence. Of course my baby cried but only for a short time. She completely forgot she had them in (until I had to clean them later lol). I recommend coming here. Their 14k studs starter pack starts @39.99. WHY WE DID IT: My daughter just turned three months, and we decided that now would be the best time to pierce her ears. Simply because as when she gets older, she'd recognize the pain more, and also be tempted to pull them out when her activity increases. After buying earings from Kay Jewelers they informed us that despite being trained by "Piercing Pagoda" they do not pierce ears as this is not something they do every day, especially for kids nor are they comfortable doing so, so with transparency they educated us and suggested Piercing Pagoda. INTERESTING INFO: I thought it was cool to know that Piercing Pagoda does this every day, and trains employees of Kay Jewelers. Also, Kay Jewelers mentioned that Piercing Pagoda was eventually bought out and is now under the same umbrella of Zales, Jared's, Kay Jewelers, etc (the parent company is signet jewelers). OUR EXPEIRENCE: Onto our experience; as we were made aware before even arriving, the earings they can install is a selection you must choose/buy from them. All in out the door, it was $108 for the cleaning solution we bought, the earrings we choose, and the warranty. Keep in mind, the cleaning solution and warranty are option. FUN FACT: You cannot provide earrings at this location as they do not sterilize jewelry onsite -- if we wanted, we could go to a tattoo shop (which by the way is it the go-to method when piercing infants as it's fast and no noise) that you will get from a piercing gun, as such the kids aren't so frightened. The choice is yours, we decided to go with the gun instead as the concept of someone holding the needle, and doing it by hand was concerning for us lol. HOW THE PIERCING PROCESS WENT FOR US: The piercing was prepped by with a marker -- you get the see where the earing placements will be and have the option to adjust to your liking. It's not as simple as you think, as each of our ears is formed/sized differently and visually the earring looks different depending on your head/face placement lol. So this is good, you finalize the placement before they proceed. They're also kind enough to show you that the earrings are already sterile, in a sterile container (never been opened) etc. This provides extra peace of mind. The lady who pierced my daughter's ears sanitised and wore gloves. The piercing process took less than 15 seconds per ear (my daughter cried for seconds). As soon as you hold your child tight, and provide comfort, they stabilize quite quickly. You can bring Tylenol l if desired, or already give your baby Tylenol prior to bringing them in. Our baby did so well, swelling/redness didn't even exist! Awesome work. We were happy, and expected a lot worse. SOMETHING TO CONSIDER: We also bought their warranty for ~ $15 which includes up to one year should the earring fall out or the hole shut, they'll provide a new pair and pierce free of charge. Contingent upon you bringing the original earrings with you. We also bought their advanced cleaning solution which allows us to remove the earrings within three weeks so that we can put in the earrings we bought from Kay Jewelers. Best of luck! read more

Waited basically an hour to get her ears pierced and had to go to another location back to back. Not to mention the attitude the employees have is far worse than a Karen. I absolutely love my experience here. Due to Covid they took extra steps to make sure that they sanitized my station. The girl was very very friendly unfortunately I did not get her name. I young gentleman helped me, I don't know his name but he had lots of piercings. He made sure the holes were just right & when he pierced her ears he made sure it was quick! They had not used the type earring normally used to pierce , a piercing stud that screws on.They called and were asked if they had bought the insurance? We stoped here a couple of weeks ago to get my baby girls ears pierced. I was nervous to have the guy there do it, but my husband and I decided to get them done. They didn't have the earring that I originally wanted but the one the did have was cute so we said yes. I would give zero stars if it was an option. The customer service was repulsive. I got to Pagoda 12/30/18 around 7:50pm. I understand they close at 8:00, but I literally wanted to buy a chain and move on. I got to the counter and the ladies were having a full blown conversation so I stood there for about 2 minutes and finally asked for help. A woman named Emily looked at another woman seated to her right and asked her something, then looked up at me and told me they were closed. She apologized and told me to have a goodnight. I walked away and googled their business hours, walked back and told her it's 7:56 and the website says they close at 8:00. She looked at the woman seated to her right again, and told me she thought the register was closed. She now realizes it is not and can help me. I told her I no longer wanted her help, but did want her name. She reluctantly told me it's was Emily. I'm not only disappointed, but they lost a loyal customer. We had an amazing experience at Piercing Pagoda! Decided to come here to get get my 9mo ears pierced after reading all the wonderful reviews. Isaiah was AMAZING AND SO PATIENT. He explained EVERYTHING from beginning to end. He double and triple checked where he was going to put the holes to make sure they were perfect before actually making the holes. He was do quick she barely fussed! Everything took about 10min, including me choosing earrings. The piercing is free, you pay for the earrings.
