I do recommend getting a reservation on the weekends but during the week you get seated right away, which is great. Definitely get some of the food. I had some of the appetizers and they were delicious. The sushi was actually vegan sushi and it was really good. The one that looks like it has tuna on top was actually watermelon, but it had the tuna taste because of the seaweed flakes. My favorite one was the shiitake mushroom one. Also got the jamon serrano which was delicious. Definitely get this. They have a lot more on their menu and even heavy plates for you to eat.

A skeleton is sitting at a piano, there is a ball gag in another prop's mouth and all kinds of photo booth photos stuck near the restrooms. It was totally my vibe for the oddity of it and the drinks were good as I mentioned. I could have had another one but it we had other sights to see while we were out and about. We were celebrating a friends belated birthday and apparently, she loves silent discos. In a silent disco you are given neon headphones (ours lit up green, blue and red). There were three corresponding DJ's that spun tunes for their respective colors. As a disco dancer, you had the ability to change your colors and therefore, music by clicking a switch on your headphones. It is always good to expand yourself by trying new things. Let me be the first one to say this was really weird, at first. But I eventually got the hang of it. When I walked into Highball, I saw a dance floor full of individuals swinging their arms, and gyrating their bodies seemingly to no music. It was like something from a sci-fi movie. It felt like I was having an out of body experience...no loud music vibrating the walls and floors, no synchronized dancing and certainly not line dancing. The dance floor was laced with bunches of people moving to the rhythm of music only they could hear. The glow of neon headphones lit up the room like glow in the dark rings except they were not rings but headphones. What a site to see! Silent discos gives you opportunity to hear a variety of music at your pace and sequencing. You can easily toggle between dance hall, hip hop or another genre of music at the flick of a switch. It is an opportunity to connect with people. Since the music is not blaring, you can easily have a conversation with a friend or strike up a conversation with someone new. Also, I noticed this interesting phenomena...the green headphone people tended to dance together and the other colors similarly danced together. It is quite the sight to see at first glance. While was it was funny to watch people dancing to different songs, it was definitely a thing!. The headphones allowed you to form a bond with your people (red, blue and green)! A silent disco is disrupting nightlife. It balances high-energy dancing with conversation you can actually hear. Also, a silent disco turns music into a shared yet individualized experience. The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's. It's big, but arranged in a way that still feels cozy and social. The crowd? Late 20s to early 40s. Grown and attractive. Lively but not chaotic. Vibrant without being loud. Perfect for dressing up a little, socializing and lingering a little. We Ubered there, so I didn't get a full picture of the parking, but it seems like there may be a little parking garage or validated parking area? Maybe a pay for parking? I would read other reviews. Most of the staff? Fantastic. Professional, warm, funny. Our assigned waitress, however, gave off overwhelmed and low-energy. She was short with communication and it sort of dulled our sparkle for a moment, but the drinks and vibes quickly brought it back. Had we had another waitress, this place would have been a 10 out of 10. On to the drinks: Round one: espresso martinis (made with Tito's). Slightly sweet, bold, smooth, and very sippable. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.

The staff were amazing, the drinks were delicious, the band was awesome, and the snacks they provided were yummy...especially the fries! She and her friend had the area reserved from 5 to 7pm ish. The theme was jazz so folks were dressed up in sequins and shiny outfits. They provided snacks and two cocktails per guest by using golden tickets. Loved how there was a performance to making some of the drinks (got a video of one). We were informed ahead of time to make a reservation at 7:30 pm so we could sit in the main area and continue the celebration with more food, drink, and listen to jazz music by a very cool band. I am sure I will find myself at Foxtail again for a future event or just a quick hang out with friends.
