The pizza is okay, kind of flavorless if you ask me. I wanted to try something local and the prices are affordable, but the pizza is decent. I would recommend it if you're on a tight budget. I got the cheesy bread as well and that was very good, buttery, garlic-y, cheesy. But the pizza was reminiscent to cardboard - was saved by ranch though (ranch I have at home). I would try the calzone next time, but would I order another pizza? Probably not. ETA: it's been 30 minutes and I will probably never order again, it sank like a rock & I only had 1 slice. I give this place 5 stars for numerous reasons. 1, I live on a mountain and they actually delivered to my house. I was able to order online and it was ready and delivered in about 40 minutes. The pizza overall is excellent; it is the best in south Huntsville, but DO NOT ORDER the Chicago Deep Dish pizza. It's just a thick-crust pizza with a few toppings and a small amount of cheese; nothing about it resembles the Chicago Deep Dish pizza we all know and love. Okay, so I used to order from a chain restaurant up the street (hint, it rhymes with Mama Dawn's) whom I've ordered from for years. Recently they have REALLY disappointed me (it's mostly the manager there whom I'm told is leaving) so I thought I would give this place a shot... and boy am I glad I did!! Their pizza is consistently excellent and I'm pleased with the crust and flavor. Their delivery fee actually goes to the driver instead of the pockets of overpaid CEOs and of course I still tip. I was interested to try out this place because the reviews of this place when I Googled it were on both ends of the spectrum- best food some folks have ever had or the worse. I figured I would take the 50/50 odds...unfortunately this was a very disappointing meal. I ordered delivery of two Stromboli and one calzone. All three looked exactly the same - difference between the two should be how the dough was sealed, all three looked like flattened calzones. I dont know if it was the dough or whatever Italian seasoning was sprinkled on top, but the food was overly salty while the interior contents were extremely bland (the ham and cheese Stromboli and the chicken and onion calzone did not taste like anything- the contents of the meat Stromboli were ok). I ordered the dessert chocolate chip pizza also. Not sure what I was expecting, but the dough is flavorless, the chocolate chips were the only yummy thing in it. I'm glad they have loyal patrons and I wish for continued success to this business, but as for me, I will not be ordering from here again. read more

I went here one day when I wanted peace and quiet from work. A friend had said it was one of his favorite places to get a calzone so I got exactly what he recommended, the Meat Lover's calzone which was $7.99. There was only one other person in the small dining area so peace and quiet was exactly what I got. The one man working was super nice and friendly. The calzone was HUGE it filled up over half the pizza pan. It was pre cut into squares and had warm marinara to dip in. The crust, was thin, a little crispy, and had a delicious garlic and herb seasoning on the top. The meat toppings tasted familiar as if they were basic toppings that I have purchased from the store to make homemade pizza, i.e. Hormel pepperoni, bacon bits, and Italian sausage crumbles. That was the only down fall was that they didn't taste fresh and 'different'. But the calzone lasted me two meals and was definitely a great deal. read more

I heard rave reviews from a friend about Jet's being awesome, so when we finally got around to ordering, I had some expectations. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and garlic bread combo to go. It was about $15 for it all, which was a super value! Unfortunately, the pizza reminded me of a Totino's frozen pizza. The crust was bland and the toppings had a commercial flavor to them. The spaghetti was okay and the garlic knots were okay as well. The staff was friendly enough and the restaurant, though old, was clean. I was just very disappointed with the overall quality of the food. I have heard wonderful things about the calzone from friends at work, so I will give it another chance soon. read more

Being from NY I like to believe I know what pizza is. I'll preface this by saying I'm not from Chicago but I've visited and I've had deep dish. The menu item labeled deep dish is not deep dish just thick crust, grandmas pizza just not cut into squares. I'd be ok with their "deep dish" if it tasted ok but they didn't even melt the cheese. But it was $40 for a "large" pepperoni pizza, small cheese pizza, an order of cheese bread and an order of buffalo wings which had a hair in them. I ordered from The Pizzeria today and I am SO glad I did. The delivery was on time and the food was nice and hot. The prices were very reasonable and I even received a 10% discount. The calzone was very good! However, the standout was the taco pizza! I am a huge fan of the somewhat elusive taco pizza. Most places that used to make it just don't anymore nor were they as good as this one. This taco pizza was truly a work of art!! I wanted to try this place because the prices are very good compared to other pizza places. With a coupon I got a 16-inch 1-topping pizza for around $8, which is pretty good. That being said, the pizza was not at all what I was expecting. The pizza crust was bland and a little dry. The hand-tossed crust was a little bit on the thin side when compared to other pizza chains like pizza hut, dominos, papa johns, etc. But that would be ok IF it tasted good. There is not much to say about the sauce and cheese - just your basic stuff. It tasted like one of those frozen pizzas you can pick up at the grocery store. I was quite disappointed. Some of the reviews say good things about their calzones, so I may be back to try one of those sometime. read more

I'm pretty picky about the pizza I like and I love this place. Their hand tossed crust is delicious. Anytime I order delivery they are there in a timely manner and the pizza is still nice and hot.
