Half order of Power Puffs ($8)
    Kate H.

Hoping for the best, but it didn't quite live up to the reviews, at least for me. We got four slices to share ($22.25): a cup pepperoni, meteor lovers, galactic goat, and margarita. By far, the meteor lovers was the biggest hit. The pepperoni, capicola, sausage, basil and hot honey are a terrific combination. We also got a half order of the garlic puffs ($8), which were doughy and garlicky, and served with marinara sauce for dipping. We all had a ton of dried herbs caught in our smiles when we finished eating these. The half order probably had somewhere between 15 and 20 dough balls. The menu says it serves 2 to 3, but I would say it serves a lot more if you are also having pizza. It's not that the pizza was bad, it's just that beyond the meteor lovers I didn't find it had a ton of taste or flavor. I was expecting the sourdough to have a tangy and memorable taste, but it didn't. I'm torn between three or four stars, but I'm going with three, mainly because our order wasn't ready until about 15minutes after our pick up time.

Customer who died waiting for his food

A coworker and I went out for lunch on a slow Friday. We were going to visit a place we'd both been before, but I felt adventurous and wanted to try a new place -- Razzo had good reviews so we altered course and headed to check it out. When we arrived, the front was empty and a sign out front said that due to callouts, which happens, no biggie. While we waited for someone to come out, we parused the chalkboard menu (apparently which pizza are available changes each day). The menu was a little confusing at first, with 'red' and 'white' menus, but that turned out to be sauce type. The lunch special was 'One slice red cheese + any slice + drink + oreo calzone'. The employee who came out informed us that due to staffing shortages, we could get the lunch special but there was no Oreo Calzone available. When asked if we could sub with a garlic knot or a breadstick or something, we were told no - they didn't do that. Price was still the same. The menu was written on a chalk board - why not just erase the Oreo Calzone instead of just having to explain it every time? Weird, but we didn't want to be needy when they were short staffed, so we both ordered a lunch combo. We were prompted for a 35% / 30% / 25% tip (people talk about tip culture outta control - they ain't wrong lol). Order at a counter and pick up your food from a window and tip 35% ehhhh? Restaurant wasn't a little small and cramped, maybe good for one larger group. Lot of 2 top tables and a few 4 top. A large roll of paper mounted on the wall for kids to draw on with step stools for them to use because they mounted it too high. Gonna be honest - 20 minutes is the longest I've ever waited for a reheated slice of pizza. I could clearly see the bakers rack of pre-made pizzas through the counter window where you walked to pick up your pizza, so I was a little confused as to why it took so long for two slices of cheese, a slice of peperoni and a one of the few pizzas they were actually making that day took so long to come out. Every other slice pizza place just tosses the slice in the oven around the pizzas that are cooking and calls it a day. Oh well - as long as their pizza was good and worth the wait, it'd be fine. It wasn't. 3/4 of the order was done after 20 minutes so me and my buddy both tried a slice of cheese which looked decent. Without a word, my buddy stood up and walked to the counter. I knew what he was going to ask for without exchanging a word and asked him to get me one also: sauce. The pizza was extremely dry and undersauced. Apologetically, he asked if he could get some marinara and was told "Sorry, we don't have any marinara to spare." Not "Sorry, we don't have serving cups would you like some ranch" or some other reason, just that they didn't have any to spare. Maybe this shortage of pizza sauce explains why the pizzas were missing the sauce and so dry, I don't know. The GOAT pizza was even worse because whatever crumbly cheese the added on top was very dry and sucked the rest of the moisture off the pizza. The rest of my order came out a few minutes later. The pictures I took all look really good, but that's mostly just due to the prevalence of natural light from the skylight above. I also snapped a candid picture of one customer who died waiting for his pizza at the bar. Long story short, paid $32 for pizza that wasn't good and waited 20 minutes to get it. Maybe it was just an off day, but it'll be a long time before I come back and give them another shot.

Amazing by-the-slice pizzeria downtown!!!! So tasty and perfect combo of unique toppings on their pizzas. The Galactic Goat has goat cheese and it was even better than I hoped. I am so happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back.

Super cute place with friendly people! The sour dough pizzas were really good. We got a pepperoni pizza, a Greek style pizza and a pizza with some veggies. Several of our group had planned to get the lunch special but they couldn't figure out how to input it to charge. And service was very slow. They do have games to keep you busy while you wait.

    Lunch special

Went back again this week with my coworkers and had another wonderful experience. The crew at Razzo is going strong with new pizzas and more lunchtime customers, a great lunch spot to enjoy downtown. Go check it out!

This place is popular with the locals -- I called to order pickup one tike and was quoted 35+ minutes until pizza could be ready so I passed, but this time it was not as busy. I was prompt seated and had my drink order taken quickly. They had several college football games playing and a large selection of pizzas and beers. You're going to pay $20 for a 16" cheese pizza (additional.toppings $2.25) but that's about on par with other local pizzeria. Their beer prices are pretty cheap if you get a 60 pitcher ($14 for michelobe ultra) and you can buy a souvenir pint glass for $3, which I feel was a great deal. The room has a large amount of natural light and seemed bright and open, and outdoor seating was available. Our pizza came out quickly and had very nice cheese pull, the crust was perfectly done and thin and toppings came to the very edge of the crust: perfect. Taste was pretty good. The staff was very polite and friendly and brought my kids coloring pages and crayons and were on the ball for drink refills. Overall a great local place, definitely give them a shot and as Big Ed says: "Eat and Drink Local!"

Seriously tough call on the rating here. I think I'll settle on a 3 but it was super close to a 4,…read morejust several minor frustrations added up. I came here with one of my best friends who was home for Thanksgiving to have a girl's day out. BeeZr advertises a nice-looking brunch on the weekends so we thought we'd try it out. She wound up not being able to meet until later in the afternoon but I'm not opposed to a late brunch, so we got there around 1. It was a gray and dreary day on Thanksgiving weekend, so I get it being slow, but the restaurant was literally empty except for us and the servers. We joked it was because we'd rented the whole building to treat each other. The vibe is...fine inside. It definitely looks and feels more like a brewery than a restaurant, with large equipment and a sort of dimly lit atmosphere and a few large TVs by the nice bar. They have a small patio on the square which is REALLY lovely and definitely would've been my preference if the weather was nicer. Our server was okay. He was soft-spoken and not unpleasant, but did sort of have a knack for appearing at inopportune times during the conversation. I get that it's not always possible to avoid, but a little more discretion would've gone a long way, especially since we were the only ones in there. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My biggest frustration was definitely the menu and item availability. I pre-read it and came knowing what I wanted (bananas foster French toast) only to discover that they were running a limited Thanksgiving weekend brunch menu and therefore it wasn't being offered that day. The first thing my friend ordered also wasn't available. I had my heart set on brunch so I asked for the breakfast burrito instead. Our waiter had to go check and make sure the kitchen could do it. Turns out they could - yay. But then I asked for potatoes to go with it -- and there were no breakfast potatoes available. I went with fries instead. When my burrito arrived at the table, there was no salsa or sour cream, which was supposed to come with it. Any component part of this experience is not a HUGE deal, but it all added up to be rather disappointing. My friend got the bulgogi tacos, which came in an order of two sort of small tacos. She liked them and said they were really good. She also got first a French mimosa and then a classic mimosa; I also had a classic mimosa. Both were generic but enjoyable. My breakfast burrito was decent, but I really missed the salsa and sour cream. The bacon inside was cut into tiny crunchy pieces, which I liked. The eggs were cooked very well but needed more salt and pepper. I enjoyed the bright burst of peppers and some were even a tiny bit spicy. It was a large serving but I wish it came with some side item instead of me having to order one. The side of fries was generous and they were really good -- super crispy but still fluffy inside. I thought the bill was a little high for 1 mimosa, a breakfast burrito, and fries -- almost $40. The burrito alone was $18, which seems like sooooo much for a brunch entree with no sides. Idk. Maybe I don't do mid-scale dining enough. Overall, I thought the quality of the food was solid enough that I'd consider returning, but I'd call ahead to see if they had what I wanted to avoid frustration.

They have outdoor seating if that's your thing, service is good, and they really try hard. I'd go back.

Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits.
