However, I just so happen to catch them with a fairly empty parking lot so we decided to give it a try. Now, for starters, we weren't really hungry so we decided to try a couple of different things and take it home for later. That being said, what we did order was a bit of a hit and miss. Let's start with the hits. While the taquitos weren't the best we've had in Charlotte, they were definitely serviceable, with a bunch of fresh lettuce, tomato and sour cream piled on top. The only complaint was they were not as crispy in the middle, and the additional lettuce and tomatoes made them a bit soggy at the end. The misses. The hotdog was also serviceable, but the only complaint there was the bun fell apart fairly quickly, which required the whole thing to be consumed in more of a fork and knife fashion. Lastly, the pupusa was also pretty good, but just didn't have the amount of ingredients inside to make it more than a snack. I would call this a case of you get what you pay for as this was not a terribly expensive experiment. Both my lady and I agreed that we should try their street tacos and tortas the next time around as those were the menu items featured most prominently. Probably not the smartest idea on our part to veer away from what clearly was their go to menu new items. We'll see what happens the next time around.
