My first visit with Rosa was great. Then she started emailing me on my phone about appointments that I didn't have or changing them because SHE couldn't make it, then threatening to charge me to make another appointment. Her services are very expensive as well. The last straw was when she emailed me that I missed an appointment (which I never had) and then offered me one at a later time on the same day I DID have an appointment and wanted me to pay her just to keep that appointment. I had made several appointments in the future and noted them in my calendar. I think she is running some sort of a scam. I never see anyone else going to see her for her services either. I will NEVER recommend her to anyone that I really care about. read more

Go see Dannielle! Dannielle has been doing hair for decades, and when it comes to cutting, coloring, and styling hair she is an expert. I can't give a review on a single experience, because she has been my stylist since I was a teenager (no need to add those years up let's move on), whether I was in Amarillo (where she was based at the time) or not. If I lived in Austin or Dallas, I would drive 5-8 hours for Dannielle to do my hair. When I lived in California, I would fly 3 hours. She is simply the best. She will listen to what YOU want you hair to look like and make that happen. If she knows that a look is impossible for your hair type, she will be honest with you about that and try to work out something else great for you. If she does something to you hair you don't like, you can tell her. She's very open and professional and she will do her best to address the issue. Aside from being an expert and consummate professional, Dannielle is also one of the most kind, generous, and truly good people I know. My family has been going to her for decades. At this point it's impossible to call her our stylist. She's an amazing close family friend. You will feel this warmth as soon as you sit in her chair. She truly gets to know each client personally, and that connection makes her a great stylist because she develops a relationship with your hair. That sounds weird, but she starts to remember what you and your hair need every time you come back. Quick story: a few months ago she put an icy toner on my hair that totally did not work for my skin tone. I was like "girl NO. Get this out." And she immediately washed out that toner and put in the one I wanted. Same price for the service. This is just who Dannielle is. Once you sit in her chair, you'll never want to sit in another one. read more

Kamesha was excellent help for me when I was in desperate need. I had gone to another salon nearby and my hair was dealt with poorly. I had simply asked a woman for a partial highlight and was given all over icy tone blonde. Kamesha got me in asap and helped bring my hair down more to natural dark blonde appearance. I'm happy with the service, ambiance, and results of my hair, but thought I'd leave a review since I wish I had known their pricing model was hourly at $100/hr. I called ahead to get a ballpark price for a partial with blonde and caramel and was told it could vary but the ballpark was $145. During the consult, I was talked into a balayage which I knew would be more. In the end it was $420 without a cut or tip and when I asked about the price breakdown I was told the rates were $100 hourly. I have straight hair a couple of inches longer than shoulder length and have never paid even close to this for a balayage or any other type of color. Perhaps it's a super high end place but thought the salon could be more transparent about pricing if that is the case. I'll be struggling with the almost $500 bill and don't want others who can't afford it to be surprised in the same way. read more

I have long thick blonde hair, so it has always been a struggle for me to find someone who can make it look good. She cuts and colors my hair, and I always get so many compliments. She is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She is also very fast, especially for someone who has as much hair as I do! She helps me select product that works for my hair type. I haven't been in Texas for all that long, but long enough to know how hard it is to find a great stylist. Within my first 8 months in Texas, I tried 4 different salons. And each one slapped me with a Texas sized price tag at the end. Even in California, I'd not seen such high dollar salons. For my medium length hair, and all over color, I was repeatedly quoted $125 and higher, PER VISIT. I was horrified. And then, out of sheer desperation, I was on Facebook (One of the very few times Yelp did not come through for me), I was on Facebook, looking at their *meh* business reviews. I came across Sydney. After messaging her back and forth about pricing, I figured I'd give it a go. Hey, what would one more expensive experience do for me besides break my pocket book? Well, boy I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. She has product for sale (that smells and is divine), but she doesn't for a minute push it on you. It's like my perfect, non-pressured salon safe haven. Sydney is prompt, creative, and keeps up with all the latest hair trends. I've gone with traditional cuts, to those more edgy, and same with color. I know I can trust her with any curve ball I throw her way. And behold, when I don't have an idea or a care in the world, Sydney has already dreamed something fabulous up for me. She's also cut my kids hair :), does hair extensions, wax, and mens hair. I'm sure she does alot more too. Oh! And she has online/real-time appointment booking. Talk about convenient! No more calling a salon and fitting into their schedule, or sending a text to your stylist. Instead, go in, pick your service, your time/date slot, and away you go. It'll even send you a meeting invite, lickety split, to your email. Fab all around! I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere, unless she kicked me out of her clientele. Wonderfully cozy salon. Emily is incredible. I had accidentally dyed my naturally blonde hair black and my roots started growing in. For my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a fix. Emily worked with me to decide how much we wanted to lift my hair and we decided on all over highlights to avoid the most damage. My hair is very fine, so I was nervous to lift it. She was very gentle, knowledgeable and kind. I asked her many questions on how it worked. I really enjoyed her company and she did an incredible job on the style. I spent $200 (not including the tip) which is more than I have ever spent on my hair (I've only used box dyes and gone to salon academies), but I definitely got what I paid for. It has been almost 3 months now and my hair is blending perfectly with my natural color and my natural wavy texture is returning. Nice color. Nice salon. New to area so trying new places. Had a keritan treatment and not enough time scheduled and stylist had to have another stylist help her finish. I needed to order the shampoo/conditioner but she forgot at end and seemed flustered to get to next client. Keritan treatment left hair feeling like straw - have had several and Brazilian blowout and my hair has never felt this way. Disappointed. read more
