Good food and good ambience. A good place a quick bite or a drink. Stopped by on a whim and was surprised by the friendly service.

I like The Point for a local dive bar. The staff is really nice and the people you meet there at social and down to earth. The food is average. Wednesday nights are friend chicken nights and food wise that's the beat night to go if you like fried chicken. The drinks are well priced too! So if you're just looking for a small local joint to hang out with good company and have a few drinks you can't go wrong by going there. read more

I have driven past The Point many times but last week I Finally stopped in, and since then I've been back twice. I felt the drinks and food were reasonably priced. In addition to drinks, we ordered two cheeseburgers and a chicken sandwich with fries. The bartender was also nice enough to let a sample some chicken wings. I really enjoyed everything I ate. The vibe is your typical dive bar feel, which I really enjoy. The bartender told me the building use to be a KFC before it was The Point, thought that was a fun piece of knowledge. Great place to spend a Sunday watching sports. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Loved it! I have been saying I want to go there and I'm talking about The Point Bar & Grill. It just reminded me of what might be back in my very small home town in Texas. And I was RIGHT! I just so enjoyed the low key atmosphere, fast service and wonderful food. They said their fish and chips were the best in the Springs and I needed to test that out. July Friday night special $8.99 Fish & Chips served just like it should be - crispy outside flaky beautiful inside mouth watering yummmmmm! Not sure what was going on. Plenty of staff but our blonde older (my age) waitress took our drink order and disappeared in the kitchen. We finally had to ask for help from the woman working the bar after 40 minutes. Food was great but blonde needs to wear a real mask not an inverted clear visor. We don't be back. Great little bar and grill. Stopped in today for lunch and had the special, open face Turkey sandwich with lettuce, cheese, salsa and smothered in homemade green chili with a side of fresh cut natural fries. It was excellent, and the price was awesome. There was one friendly woman who was running the bar, and waiting on tables and provided great service. We will definitely be coming back, looking to try out their club sandwich! read more

At first glance you will think this place looks sketchy as hell but the waitress was the best ever and kicks ass! Seriously, she was waiting, bartending, and the cook all at the same time and the Pub dog there which is a special on Sundays, was literally of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Great experience and good music on the juke box. Always has sports games on the TVs so you'll never miss any action and a great local atmosphere where everybody knows each other's names. Also very relaxed environment which I enjoy. Haven't been able to find any small mom and pop bars like this since moving to Colorado. Just wish there was one in Fort Collins. Thanks! read more

The Point is a greasy typical bar. It's nothing special in terms of beer and culinary offerings but it is what it is. It is an excellent regular American sports bar that serves really great sandwiches and burgers. There are only 5 taps which include Coors Light, Budweiser, Modelo, Blue Moon, and Fat Tire. I ordered the blue moon and it came with an orange. There's a full bar and the drinks are poured just right. The inside appears to be a hybrid between and sports and dive bar. It's a great atmosphere. It's a great place for lunch, a game, or a few beers after work. There's also a jukebox so you can be the DJ. The finishing touch I love are the little candy dispenser full of pistachios, candies and other treats that are throughout the bar. I'm not usually a huge fan of these establishments but this one is great. It's neither pretentious and everyone here seems really friendly. read more

We just stopped in for drinks so no comment on the food. It was a rainy evening and a little chilly, but we expected a little temperature control here. It was FREEZING! We had a drink and all of us left quickly, commenting on how cold it was and obviously they had the air set up for our normal hot days and warm evenings. I think the problem boils down to someone setting the thermostat ridiculously low in the misguided belief that the cooling system works harder the bigger the difference between the setting and the actual. They don't work that way for the most part! They are either on or off, so set the thermostat to the actual temperature you want it to be, and if you notice that it is cold outside, bump it up a little at most. Nothing special about the drinks except that they seemed a little more expensive than other dives we visit. read more

What a great place to get your ass kicked -- a dingy old dive bar patronized by bunch of crusty OLD barflies. We sat down at the bar for a burger on a Sat. evening, and a very drunk "regular" immediately started harrassing us about not being from Colorado (I guess it was the out of state plates on our rental car that set him off). We tried to talk to him for a minute, fully realized how drunk and stupid he was, and then tried to ignore him while waiting for our food. We should've left immediately, but we were really hungry and the only other place open at that time was McDs. We got our awful burgers just about the time the drunk guy came over behind our chairs and started his s**t again. After he accused us us of coming to CO to take his job and ruin his business, things escalated verbally. The drunk guy tripped and fell down. The manager finally got involved (while defending the drunk guy as being a regular there), lots of yelling ensued, and the drunk guy was finally pushed out the back door. We grabbed our food and left, very very very sorry we ever went in to this crummy dive. A really nice welcome to a Colorado Springs vacation. read more

Really disappointed that I just walked in here with my fiancé and waited 15 mins, and no one even acknowledged we were there!!!!! We sat in the middle of the bar, we were the only people who had no drinks, and no menus, so that was pretty rude. Doubt we'll try again. read more

Used to be my regular spot. Until saturday night when the bartenders son/nephew came in blown out of his mind. He then runs his mouth and me and my friends drinks are taken and were served the check. This is a small neighborhood bar with a decent kitchen. If you stop in between 5ish and 9ish most nights, you will actually get to have a CHEF! I am not exactly sure of the exact hours... but Chris can cook and has cooked here for years. I love meatloaf night and Lasagna night. If Chris isn't on shift, the bartender is always willing to make you a burger or one of the other menu choices. This place is located just north of the Broadmoor neighborhood. If you live in the Broadmoor, you already know this is your down to earth neighborhood bar. See ya there! read more

Terrible terrible terrible... The drinks are so over priced, you would think that you're getting top-shelf gold as opposed to a vile well drink. Food is mediocre at best, and definitely overrated. The crowd is pretty boring as well. Don't go here if you have a pulse. In any case, worst bar on the Westside. Save your time and $ and hit up somewhere with a less hostile staff, better prices, better ambience... you see the pattern. read more

Holy cow so bad, I mean if you go on a weekday at noon when your the only one in the joint you get service, the food is always good, but my wife and I just sat at a table for over 30 minutes and the waitress never even looked at us, so we left.
