When I called to explain that my experience wasn't good and the bowl was gross, I asked if they could give me store credit or a discount to come back and make up for my experience. I order from this Poké location multiple times a week for myself and family. Anika (Indian-American young lady) who is a server there, was extremely rude to me whilst ordering on 08/22/26. I politely asked for an additional scoop of the spicy salmon which was remaining. I guess scooping that bit to get my full serving was an inconvenience to her? She irritatedly and obnoxiously laughed and said "that's all that's left and all you can get", while I'm looking at more clearly in the container. I said "actually, don't worry about it" and proceeded to walk out. She shrugged her shoulders and said "ok!" while her and another employee joined in laughing. This is a sure way to get a customer to never return. Guess I'll be giving Bolay my business more often, which is just down the street. I went for a Friday lunch and it did not disappoint. There are several ways you can build your own bowl or burrito. When I walked in, there wasn't a line and there was several people that came in after me to order, so I got lucky not having to wait. I went for the chicken bowl with brown rice, carrots, cilantro, edamame, crispy onions, and avocado lime sauce. Each item is made to order and you are able to see how much of the items are put in. Hands down my favorite poke place! I have dined with The Poke Company many times but this was my first time trying their Wellington location. I arrived around 11:15am on a weekday and the staff were handling online orders but were quick to take my order. I love that you can build your own bowl and contemplate what you want to try. I always get their regular bowl and spend the extra money adding their krab salad in. I always have extra rice left and leave pretty full. My only comment would be that the portion of fish is on the small side. Yes, you can order extra portions of protein, making the bowls even more expensive. The Poke Company was great. A really nice change to all the fusion places, big box places, and traditional places. The selections are great, fresh items and healthy. Sauces are tasty, prices are reasonable. Atmosphere is nice open concept. The staff was amazing. I have been to similar places in other cities but my family was new to this concept. This place is everything you would expect from a poke restaurant, they have different toppings to choose from and the main fish proteins. I guess because I'm more of a sashimi lover and I prefer to just have more of the actual fish which is what I look forward to in getting a poke bowl, I was a bit disappointed. When I saw the size of the small bowl it looked pretty small and the staff informed me with the regular (larger) bowl you get two proteins, so I got the regular. When I asked if I could just get all salmon for my two proteins, I was shocked to see the small amount that was given. They make sure they give you the exact portion by weighing it on a scale. I said that's all you get for a regular bowl? I believe it was about .2-.3 ounces exactly. So I felt like you were basically paying $12 - not including extra if you wanted avocado or krab meat or a special topping - for a bowl of rice and some basic toppings but barely any fish which is what a poke bowl should mainly be. Next time I'm in the mood for some japanese style tuna or salmon I would rather pay for plain sashimi and get more bang for my buck. read more

I had the spicy tuna and salmon in my REGULAR sized bowl, which isn't huge. The small seems a bit too small for a meal. With the regular size, you have the option of one base, two proteins and as many toppings as you'd like. One interesting option they offer is Cauliflower Rice as a base.
