We've eaten here now six times in the last two months. Normally it is just my husband and I, but we've brought "the family" with us on two occasions. The results have been the same every time. "This is the best Asian food I've ever had." "How is this place not filled to the brim with a line around the corner?" "I can't wait to get my favorites next time and try even more new things." The location is very clean. It is fairly quiet inside, though the kitchen is "halfway open" (that's what I'm calling it), so you do get some cooking noises (and smells!) from the kitchen. It definitely lends itself to calm, quiet conversations. The food is just outstanding. There isn't much more to be said about it. Everything we have tried, everything, has been exceptional. We haven't had a bad dish yet. The absolute worst thing I can say about the food is that they tend to overcook their fish. It is a bit dry and tough compared to their sushi, which is also excellent and very fresh. But that's it. Everything else is spectacular. The flavor of the fish is still amazing. You want mild? You'll get amazing flavors. You want spicy? You will be sweating. The katsu chicken has some of the best flavor, and also has the least grease I've ever seen on the dish. I frequently compare it to Boons of Boca. That place is an institution at this point, and has won many awards. And TA One BEATS IT on most dishes. I'm not exaggerating on this. My favorites? The chicken and rice soup. The green salad (some of the best ginger dressing I've ever had). The curries (every one). The katsu chicken. The cashew stir fry....well I could keep going on. I normally go during lunchtime and they have a wide variety of lunch specials, I think I've tried everything on the lunch menu but my go to's are the fried rice (shrimp) and sushi pad Thai combo. The restaurant is owned by a Thai family, and they provide exceptional service when you are dining in. This was one of the higher rated places in the area after we went to Lion Country Safari. We decided to come in and quite honestly although the staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating we initially waited a long time before we were even asked for drinks at our table when we were starving to eat. Now for the cuisine experience. The Shu Mai I liked a lot, the Shrimp Har Gow not much at all as the filling was much less than I'm used to. Wonton soup was just ok and my wife's miso soup did not taste good at all. The sushi looked pretty good when it came out but it honestly was not exciting at all. Overall We were pretty disappointed all around. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating once we were finally acknowledged and that's why there's at least 2 stars instead of one. read more

This was a three and half almost 4 star experience. Service was fine, the setting was good (we'd been here before when it was a different Thai place), and prices were okay. My girlfriend is vegetarian and was happy to have a dish with fresh veggies and tofu with sauce on the side and brown rice. She asked for it 2 star hot and said it didn't have any spice at all. Her husband had their duck soup -- a huge bowl with noodles and duck pieces. He said it was okay. For dessert they shared a pumpkin pudding. It came unexpectedly hot with a dollop of whipped cream on the side. It tasted like a mild squash to me. He said he tasted coconut. Very different. My entree was a salmon teriyaki. A nice chunk of fish over bok choy and snow pea pods. The fish was drizzled with teriyaki sauce. It was served with white rice. And it was filling. My husband had a large bowl of Tom yum noodle soup which had shrimp, scallops, and squid in a tomato base with bok choy, noodles and lemon grass and a bit of chili. This was my first time getting food at TaOne Asian Fusion, and I can honestly say most of the food was great, but others not so much. The pad Thai that I had was amazing, filled with flavor and had way more than enough food for one person. The crab Rangoons were good and so were the spring rolls; they were fresh and delicious! My sister ordered the orange chicken and a yellowtail roll. She said the sushi was great, but the orange chicken wasn't to her liking at all (she ended up not eating it). I ordered the Pad Thai and a JB tempura roll, and I loved the pad Thai, but was disappointed with the JB tempura roll. The roll was supposed to be cooked salmon, but apparently it was half cooked and half raw. Their Thai tea was good, but it wasn't the best I've had before. All in all TaOne fusion was a good experience and the food was decent, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars only because of the orange chicken and the JB roll. I've used Yelp for a while but this is my first time leaving a review. TaOne is hands down my favorite sushi/Asian fusion restaurant in the area and they are probably among my favorite of all time. The service is excellent and they really care about their customers! Im (hope I spelled that correctly) is SO sweet and always goes above and beyond to make you happy when making your sushi. I first tried TaOne last year and have been back 1-2 times a week since then. Every thing I have eaten there- from the pad thai to the fried rice to the house salad with peanut dressing- is phenomenal. My favorite rolls are the TaOne roll and the crunchy salmon roll, I admittedly find myself craving them on almost a daily basis. All the sushi tastes very fresh and you can tell that the fish is quality. I am extremely particular when it comes to sushi and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious all the sushi/sashimi/rolls are. I'm posting this review because I am often left in disbelief at how caring the employees are at this restaurant. It's hard to find customer service like that nowadays but TaOne always exceeds my expectations and leaves me with a smile on my face. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all sushi/Asian/Thai food lovers out there! read more

TaOne has quickly become a new go-to spot for me. It has two of my favorite things combined, amazing thai food and sushi. From the first time I set foot in the door I quickly realized what sets TaOne apart from other restaurants, they know how to make you feel like family. I'm not talking about just great service or treating their customers good (although they do that as well). I'm talking about the whole staff making you feel like you are actually part of their family. On my first visit I was very impressed with both their sushi and thai food. It was extra fresh and made with care. The manager started to chat with us and invited us to come back for their 1 year anniversary celebration. So we did and what a party it was. What a gem! This beautiful restaurant felt so Zen. The staff were kind, attentive and helpful. I had the Pad Woon Sen. There were lots of great vegetables and chicken. The sauce and the thin noodles complimented the dish beautifully. My husband had the ginger sauce and chicken. His, too, was very flavorful. We arrived around 2:30 and there were several full tables. But it was quiet. I enjoyed their hot ginger tea which was sweetened just right--I don't like my tea too sweet. The ginger was nice and spicy! Tonight we decided to try TaOne Asian Fusion and we couldn't have been more pleased. The food was fresh, flavorful, packaged perfectly and food temperature was on point. We called our credit card company to dispute the charge after they put it through and said that's what we have to do to get reimbursed so we started the process. We just learned they swore to the credit card company that we received the food and the CC company found in their favor. We're not done but what a lying bunch of cheats these folks are. Buyer beware.
