The Thai aunties here make this spot so authentically Thai! The service and kindness here is like the love you get from your fav Aunt or Grandma. I ordered the sushi boat for one and received half-inch thick slices of sashimi on shredded lettuce, four desiccated pieces of sushi, and a 1-inch diameter sushi roll that was dry and lacking flavor. Our order didn't come with enough soy sauce, which was a bit frustrating, especially since we had multiple rolls. There also wasn't any labeling or clear way to tell which item was which -- not ideal when you're sharing and trying to figure out what's what. We chose this place so we could meet in the middle and neither of us would have a super long commute. The food was really good. We had the avocado salad, my friend had some varient of a dragon roll with eel on top and shrimp tempura inside and I had a cucumber wrapped roll with three different kids of fish inside. A friend had a customizable bento box filled with a variety of items and sauces. Hers included tempura shrimp, sushi, chicken, spring roll, edamame, and rice. It both looked and tasted delicious. Her husband thoroughly enjoyed his Mongolian beef entree. It was a good-sized portion, and the beef was tender and well-seasoned. Our friends shared a bottle of cold sake, which they enjoyed. This place was recommended to me. Never knew it existed. The restaurant is quite big and the staff greeted us as we entered. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken. Once we were ready to order, the server was helpful and quick. The food started hitting our table at an appropriate but fast pace. The food was hot and delicious! Some of my favorite items I tried here are the nigiri pieces - the ikura, eel and the sweet shrimp. The eel was so big too! I also tried a handroll and loved it. We came here for an early "dinner" to try their happy hour menu. We'd seen a post on Yelp with their HH menu and it looked appealing. It was posted a few weeks ago. However, when we got there, they responded as if they had never offered a Happy Hour. When I showed them the photo, they then said it had been discontinued. I think my husband would have left then, but as we were already there, we decided to stay. I ordered their shrimp panang curry. It came with a choice of soup or salad and a side of white rice. I got their salad which was a small bowl of mixed greens topped with ginger dressing. The dressing was good. The curry had a slight kick and a good amount of shrimp in it along with pieces of cucumbers, tomatoes, and green beans. I've had better panang, but it was still decent. My husband's bento box was chock full of salmon: salmon sushi and salmon sashimi; a salmon roll (salmon inside rice with seaweed on the outside; a seaweed type "salad" with crispies and small minced pieces of salmon. It was a more than ample portion and all the fish seemed quite fresh. He also got their salad to start. Went with my wife to try this Thai and Sushi Restaurant. I love Thai food and often cook it at home. We ordered their Tom Kha Soup, Thai style chicken wings, Avocado salad and Kenzo sushi rolls. The soup was amazing. Tangy, and super flavorful with plenty of chicken. Best version of this soup I've ever had! The wings were meaty, juicy and perfectly fried, Kenzo roll was very good and they even flamed the Salmon and Tuna on the top. Avocado salad was excellent as well. It's an eel roll topped with spicy tuna. The sushi is so fresh and seasoned to perfection that there is no need for soy sauce. Pad Thai seafood came with calamari, mussels, scallops and shrimp. The happy hour is pretty good for the pricing as compared to their regular menu. Even though their happy hour is a bit pricey, I believe you're paying a bang for your buck. It look amazing. My wife and I shared 3 sushi rolls. Don't judge...that's how we roll . We had (from right to left in picture), Thunderstorm that had spicy honey lime mayo-delicious! The second one was the Zenzo roll -half the rolls topped with slightly seared tuna and the other half topped with salmon, also yummy.
