A few friends and I decided to grab dinner last night, and when our original destination had a long wait, we ended up here. Our good luck! No wait here, we were seated right away by smiling friendly staff, lively pop music played in the background, and the restaurant was clean, well lit not not bright and fun art on the walls gave us something to look at and talk about out while they made our food. One of us had the fried rice and said it was bland and tasteless, but everyone else thought everything else was delicious.

Volcano Roll Delicious, it has white fish, Salmon and crab meat.

I just go to this place for this specific dish. The place is popular because there is always people waiting for their order so because of that if you dine in it may take longer but hey, take your time. Place is nice with outdoor seating if you like.

Food is really good Lomain duck is the best Authentic Thai Crispy Pork Belly Basil is very delicious

I wouldn't go here for sushi again. Looks like they just threw it on the plate , non of the rolls were even or have all of the ingredients in them. Some were missing certain things. Also got the sushi nachos and all the chunks of cucumber where huge and they forgot the avocado and when I asked they made sure to tell me 'it's on us' they didn't take it off the bill. Service was also very slow. Definitely a run down place, tears in all the furniture, weird smell at first walk in that lingered. I wouldn't waste your money. Only thing that came out right was my daughter's fried rice.

Thai Ice Tea which is by the way, delicious!

Good food! Just a bit pricy and takes some time. The service is decent and the people are friendly! The atmosphere is pretty comforting and gives welcoming vibes. The place is not the biggest, but it also isn't super tiny. I used to come here often and haven't been in a bit, so I would definitely go back.

I am a huge fan of the Sushi Nachos and More than Rice. Their sushi is always fresh. The service is always friendly.

Love the food at this little Sushi /Thai joint. Usually enjoy thier lunch specials but tonigh was a nice dinner for three. We started with the steamed pork dumplings, wonton soups and 4 rolls to share. And even had a Pad Thai to go. Great service very attentive. My water glass was never empty and they pay attention to the details.

It's been a while since we've been here and it was great from what I remembered. The pick up time was 45 minutes which was much longer than what I'm use to, either they're super busy or understaffed, regardless, our order was ready at that time. I was disappointed by the quality and appearance of the salmon sushi we received. There was no uniformity, either it was prepared by a trainee or a chef that just didn't care. As for the eel roll, it was good but cut into 6 large pieces; again, no attention to detail or uniformity. Making sushi is an art in itself, it's appearance is as important as it's taste. And at last; the JB Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were great, but definitely seems like it was made by someone more experienced so perhaps 2 different chefs worked on my order. Would I come back; I'm sure eventually, but it's definitely not on my top list of sushi restaurants.

Food was okay, you cant go wrong with rice! My partner ordered scrimp teriyaki only a few scrimp with raw vegetales and white rice 22$ he ask for fry rice and they charge additional 6.99$ $3 for a few slices of avocado and almost 5$ for not paying cash Very expensive for just rice! Omakase has been a favorite cuisine of mine so this may be biased. I did the bougie upgrade for lunch and had a few favorite pieces that includes the amaebi sweet shrimp and the ikura. I was served both pieces here and I loved it. Another enjoyable course is the wagyu uni bite. The only thing I had a slight feeling on while dining here is that I came in on a promotion. It said that we each would get a free craft cocktail. The ad even had pictures of their cute cups. When we got here, two different individuals told us that our meal came with a sake shot that the whole table would get. This was far from what was advertised and we were disappointed. But speaking on just the food and service - we were satisfied with our lunch here.

They have nicely decorated section with fake Bansai trees and pebbles. Looks beautiful and clean. There are couple of other trees spaced out throughout the restaurant. The service was a little slow even though we were the only table there at the time. We ordered green teas, hamachi jalapeño app, and 4 rolls to try (green dragon, Hokkaido, sexy crunch, and sweet potato curry). The rolls were generously portioned (expect to pay $25-30 for specialty rolls), the visuals looked pretty decent (served on a small boat), but the flavors were on the bland side for me. The green tea was little too flavorful. The individual pieces of the rolls were little too big than what we were used to. The sushi rice was wet and there was too much rice used for the rolls. But maybe some customers who are used to this might prefer this style more than what I prefer personally. Out of the four rolls, in our opinion, the most unique one was the sweet potato curry roll. It's very different than the traditional rolls you will find at other sushi restaurants. Overall the experience wasn't bad. I might visit again next time just to make sure. But after the first time visit, I am a bit hesitant to recommend this place to others with certainty. Sushi Bang bang is located in a plaza that is hard to find from outside so make sure to follow your GPS. They offer some parking spaces in the plaza where they are located. Please share with me how you liked your experience if you decide to give it a try.

It was a quiet sat night and I was in the mood for sushi so I yelped around a bit and stumbled upon Mizu. I took a seat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Gary and told the specials of the day. He then suggested a mini crudo and a himachi roll and I took him up on his recommendations! The crudu was super fresh and came with the most amazing, zingy cilantro sauce! The hibachi roll was out of bounds yummy. Gary explained that he trained in NY as a sushi chef and worked around soFlo. He was definitely talented and suggested that I stop back for one of his private dinner events.

But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon's and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon's) to wait on people! So it's difficult to give people much attention when you're stretched so thin. We came back after 7 (they don't open until 5pm) to have dinner. I ordered the shrimp "handy". It's tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey! My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn't. Then we shared the sashimi platter. It's 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert. A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.

Our server Eugene was exceptional -- knowledgeable, warm, and full of incredible recommendations. We started with the seafood pancake and a chef's special smoked fish dish (I wish I'd caught the name!) whose presentation was absolutely stunning -- every element on the plate was intentional and edible, right down to the flowers. On Eugene's advice, we went all in on the grill: wagyu beef, two orders of pork belly, and the snowflake short rib. The snowflake short rib was the star of the show -- it melted like butter and was absolutely divine. The wagyu was delicious too, though a touch less buttery than the short rib. The pork belly held its own, especially paired with the Ssamjang dipping sauce (a fermented soybean paste and gochujang blend that's the perfect complement). We wrapped up the savory courses with garlic shrimp -- a great finishing touch. The banchan were all wonderful, and it's worth knowing you get three free refills while you're grilling, with additional refills available for a small charge. For dessert, we ordered their halo-halo-style treats in mango and red bean (again, I forgot the name -- but don't let that stop you!). They were delicious -- not overly sweet, with a satisfying texture from the mochi and shaved ice. We loved both, but the mango was my personal favorite. The space itself is beautiful, with plenty of grill tables and a generously sized bar for those who aren't coming to cook. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive throughout. Worth noting -- this business changed ownership about 18 months ago, and the difference is evident: it's exceptionally well-run and the quality of ingredients has been elevated to a whole new level. This is definitely a place to splurge and savor -- everything we had was perfection. If you're in the area or on the hunt for a truly delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience, this is an absolute must-visit!

We started with Peach Soju, which was light, slightly sweet, very refreshing. The Kimchi Pancake was a great appetizer: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with that tangy, slightly spicy kimchi flavor that makes it so addictive. For mains, the Beef Bibimbap was great especially during a cooler night. It's a rice bowl served on a sizzling bowl, topped with seasoned beef, vegetables, and egg, and once you mix everything together, you get a perfect balance of savory, spicy, and comforting flavors in every bite. The Soon Tofu Jigae came out hot and bubbling. It is a rich, warming stew made with soft silken tofu and a flavorful broth that's slightly spicy and incredibly comforting. We also ordered the Korean Steamed Egg, which was light, fluffy, and almost custard like. The Chicken Katsu rounded everything out nicely with a crispy breaded exterior and juicy chicken inside, served with a classic sweet-savory sauce. Banchan was included with the meal, which is always a plus. For anyone unfamiliar, banchan are traditional Korean side dishes (like seasoned or pickled vegetables) served with your food to be shared and enjoyed throughout the meal. They really add variety and enhance the overall experience. Yami is consistent providing great food, welcoming service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
