    Tataki with tuna
    Jessica M.

Love the atmosphere here came closer to closing after a Brightline ride and this was the perfect way to end the night. I enjoyed the sushi very much. We ordered the ceviche to start and I wouldn't recommend it unless you're interested in a less than noticeable presence of lime and fish. I've noticed that presentation is their thing, and the ceviche, while pretty, was lack luster in flavor. We also ordered the caliente roll, Tataki with tuna, and the sashimi appetizer. Tataki was bland until we added ginger and the garnish in the middle of the plate. We typically get hot sake whenever we eat sushi and the hot sake was strong. We asked for wild caught fish and they were all farm raised which was disappointing but the vibe and sushi was tasty. Overall, The service was good and the sushi was tasty. Would recommend.

We had a good dinner here. The place was quite busy with folks of all ages. We sat next to a cute couple on a first date. The restaurant was also doing a lot of take out when we were there. There's parking on both the north and south sides of the restaurant. Inside, it's much larger than we thought. There's a big circular bar that was full when we came. I started with a sunomono salad with krab sticks. There were lots of cucumber slices in a sweet vinegar dressing topped with a copious amount of krab. Then I had a shrimp tempura roll. Both were very, very good. My husband had the salmon combo. He had a choice of soup or salad. He had the mixed greens salad with ginger dressing. After that, there were 3 pieces of salmon sushi plus a salmon roll. He said the fish was very fresh. We found out they have a good happy hour when seated at the bar and a lunch specials menu, as well. We said we'd definitely come back

Hands-down, the most fresh and delicious sushi I've ever had in my life. I have tried a ton of other sushi places in Delray in Boynton. Hands-down don't hold a candle to sushi Jo. You tell me the best sushi place you've ever been and I promise you will not hold a candle to the sushi Jo. Try it you will love it. Sidenote, this is a great role if you're a diabetic. No rice and my blood sugar is always consistently the same after I eat this.

Celebrated my birthday lunch at Sushi Jo with my dear friends Susan and Julie, and it was wonderful from start to finish. We ordered the coconut shrimp salad, chicken stir fry, and a sashimi box -- everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Portions were generous, and you could tell the food was made to order. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, making it easy to talk and catch up on life. Ana took great care of us and made our celebration feel relaxed and special. We loved it all and will definitely be back.

This is their newest location and I love the space. It's more upscale location and setup than the other locations. This location makes you feel like it's a date night location .... Which it is for us. The service this time was amazing... or favorite lady waited on us and she is always fun and stellar! Food is always fresh and delicious. Rolls are always great and drinks are always tasty. Always a go to! Plus their spicy edamame is fire

Went to my brother's house in West Palm. he is a snowflake and was down with his family and invited us for dinner. He had take out from Sushi Jo's, a small chain with 4 restaurants. We had a huge assortment of sushi and other Japanese foods including Edamame, Seaweed Salad, Avocado Roll, Eel Roll, Sashimi, Sunomono Salad, and other sushi rolls. All very good.

Shrimp tempura, dancing eel, spicy tuna, and deluxe JB roll

Amazing, as always. Took a sushi newbie and they did not disappoint! Got the newbie array to try out, basic shrimp tempura, spicy tuna roll, then went with the dancing eel roll, and finished with the deluxe JB roll. They were VERY happy and will come again! Sushi is always tasty, service is good, and consistency is key. Don't hesitate to refer friends to eat here.

Their sushi never disappoints! Always super fresh and top quality. The service is quick and friendly, and the place itself has such a nice upscale vibe. Prices are a little higher than other spots, but totally worth it for the quality of fish you receive.

We walked in and were seated immediately. This place is good for families, dates, or hanging out w friends. We had their miso soup, spicy tuna salad, and sashimi dinner. If you want fresh sushi, this is the spot for you! Service was friendly and efficient.

PS I go to lunch really late so there's more free parking. It's super popular during the lunch hour rush from noon to 1:30 but after that you can usually slide right into a parking spot!

Was there on a quiet Sunday evening with my fiancé and the service and the food was excellent! The ambiance was a little upscale (as to be expected) and again was nice and quiet... I ordered the chicken and vegetable soup, along with the California roll...while my fiancé ordered the eel roll...Will definitely return!

Hawaiian roll, Caliente roll, tsunami, and Mexican roll.

I'm surprised to not see more reviews. This was some of the best sushi I have had in a while. Stopped by for their speciality rolls. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend.

We decided to try this place because we were right by it and we were very hungry. Not worth it. Definitely one of the worst sushi places I've been to. The staff was rude and the tables and the plates were not clean. We ordered a crab stick salad and all the pieces were thick and not mixed. It was not a salad. It was a plate with huge chunks of cucumber, crab sticks and we added avocado to taste. There was no sauce in the salad or on the side. Super dry and not tasty at all! I got a spicy tuna hand roll and it looked unappealing. It was not pieces of tuna as it should be, it was mashed tuna and it was weird. We got the triple crown roll and we added avocado. The salmon in that roll was absolutely repulsive! It tasted like soap! The only thing that was edible was the tempura banana cheesecake and the vegetable stir fry with brown rice and chicken. They were not good but they were edible. Do not recommend this place at all.

(Top to bottom) Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll, Hawaiian Roll.

You do have to pay for parking in the municipal lot if you don't have a resident decal. It's not too much though. My server was new but very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. She even caught an error with my order before I did! They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. They had a lot of specials on the board too. I decided to try the shrimp club special. It had whole grilled shrimp on sun-dried tomato ciabatta with mixed greens, tomato and bacon. The chipotle aioli was too spicy for me. It was delicious but took away from the sandwich. Obviously it's a personal preference so if you can't handle spice, ask for something else or at least get it on the side. They put a lot on. It made the bread slightly soggy by the end. The tomato was fresh. The greens were wilted from the dressing. The grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly. It was a little different to eat with them being whole but it worked. The ciabatta was very flavorful. I'm not usually a fan but it was soft and really held up to all of the sandwich fillings. The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside. They gave me regular fries instead of sweet potato fries but the server brought out a small plate of sweets for me. If you like sweet potato fries then order these! They were much better than the regular ones. I enjoyed the coleslaw. Perfect portion size and balanced flavors. I tried the key lime pie martini. Definitely not worth it for the price. I didn't get much alcohol out of it. Great presentation though! Oh and I ordered the conch fritters appetizer to go. I wanted to try them but knew I couldn't eat them and my sandwich. You get 6 big fritters. I can see these being super filling before an entree. The conch was tender but they were doughy - a typical fritter. I wish they had cracked conch.....

One downside before even getting there was the road leading into the restaurant, lots of potholes and gravel made it feel a little rough getting in. Service started a bit slow as it took some time before we were greeted, but once our server came over, she immediately brought water and was very friendly throughout the meal. The menu was a little confusing and felt all over the place. The "appetizers" were mostly fried foods that honestly seemed more like à la carte meal items. Along with that, they offered low country boil bags, fried rice dishes, and Asian noodle options, just an unusual combination overall. We ordered one of the boil bags along with a few appetizer items. Everything tasted good, and there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The crab legs were definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable, especially for the price point. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's probably a one-and-done visit for us. Glad we tried it, but not somewhere we'd likely return to.
