Went here with family for the day before Mother's Day . This is located in a plaza so parking is easy. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. However, the indoor seating seems a little squished . My family was in the back where the servers pick up the orders . The one side was like a couch with pillows I had to put the pillows behind my back so I wasnt feeling as if I was laying down . I wasn't familiar that pad Thai was actually made with peanut sauce. I saw one item that specifically said peanut sauce but it was with chicken and I did not want chicken. I mentioned I wanted peanut sauce but guess noone in my family was listening to what I was asking and the server never said anything either . I ordered an appetizer that said golden balls that had ingredients that I liked This was actually really good with a flaky outside and flavorful inside . I also ordered scallops with teriyaki since that is all I could see with seafood that was reasonable priced . The scallops were just regular sized and but had a hot peppery flavor which I did not like so I only ate 2 of them and not much else . My mom ordered a lobster pad Thai. I tasted that and really liked it as it was peanut noodles. This is what I actually wanted but didn't know pad Thai was peanut sauce. I ordered a custard Thai dessert which was deliciousoussly warm .That was the highlight of my meal . Just to be clear, I am only reviewing the Sushi at this restaurant. We tried this place last night and one of the sushi was edible, the quality of the fish was subpar. You can get the quality at Publix for half the price. In addition to the poor quality of fish, they incorporate significant rice in their roles and very little fish. Very disappointing. A salmon avocado roll should not be considered a custom roll and cost $13. That should be standard and cost $8. If you go to this restaurant, I recommend you try the Thai food and not the decision. read more

I am floored that I haven't written a review for this place yet. This place is so delicious. It is a small restaurant, but they do a great job with both dine in and takeout We really like the sushi at this restaurant. So fresh and so delicious. I also really love the appetizer sampler. My husband and I sometimes share the sampler for one and also get a sushi roll to split. it's such a nice light dinner. We've also gotten takeout from here a bunch of times and it's always accurate and well prepared. The Thai coconut soup is so good! Check this place out!!! read more

You guys, 5 stars! Service is excellent, food is delicious, and the variety is amazing. It may sound crazy but I have a toddler... they have pizza and pasta for her!!! On top of that we had an amazing sushi pizza, and a roll I kind of made up and they went with it. The sushi pizza was the best one I've had, very flavorful and filling. You won't be disappointed. I was lucky to have a night out with my favorite college bound girl before she packed up and headed to campus for the year - she requested this restaurant when the idea of dinner came up. We went on a Tuesday evening around 8 PM and we were seated immediately. Staff were very friendly and the place is extremely clean. She had the appetizer sampler for 1 and the server nicely accommodated her request to switch one of the items for a small and fair up charge. I had spring rolls and a rainbow dragon roll. The sushi was very fresh tasting and the presentation was lovely. The spring rolls were exactly what spring rolls should be - filled with vegetables, crunchy, and piping hot. The prices at this restaurant are beyond reasonable for the quality you receive. I will continue coming here over similar places in the area. read more

Friendly servers remember frequent diners. Food is always hot fresh and nice to look at on the plate, as well as tasty on the tounge! Indoor dining in is cozy; there is a big salt water aquarium in the the main seating area. The last couple of times I was in there, there were tiny baby starfish cawling all over the glass. It is the cutest thing you have ever seen! There is also an outside dining area, that is covered and opens up to a sort of courtyard between two buildings. It is fairly shielded from the parking lot traffic. Prices are about what you would expect from your average neighborhood Thai place. Although, I think it is a step above most. read more

We stopped by on a Wednesday night to check out tub Tim. It's been there for years and we used to go to it when it was in another shopping center a few miles down the road it. It was a Wednesday night and it wasn't very busy. They only serve beer and wine, and we each ordered some thing and our dinner. It's a Thai restaurant but they also have sushi and I ordered a sushi roll called the rainbow roll. My wife ordered a dish called Pad Buchi. Pad Buchi is like pad Thai , but it has a much finer rice noodle and a milder flavor. She truly enjoyed her dish and she said she would order it again. My rainbow roll came out the way it's supposed to with different colored sashimi on top of the roll to give it a rainbow looking color. I mixed a little wasabi and soy and went to work on it, and had absolutely no trouble devouring it all. So had several bites of her pad bocci and it was very good. It was a great experience and I would recommend it as a Thai restaurant in the Wellington area. Enjoy. read more

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch. The service was a little bit slow even if the place was empty, but I wasn't in a hurry and I did enjoy the calm and the ambience (the décor includes a big fish tank!). They also have an outdoor dining patio. They apparently don't bring you anything to munch on before your meal, but their chicken soup was very tasty and probably one of the best I had. I had better sushi/sashimi platters instead, but I can't say I didn't like at all the one I had in this restaurant. They also have very decent white wine. I will certainly stop there again for a quick lunch if I am in the area, but I don't think I will try a dinner: their prices are a little bit expensive, and I already found better deals for this kind of cuisine. read more

Takeout review - Always ready within 25-30 mins and kept warm! Definitely pricier than other Thai restaurants and I wouldn't say it's worth the extra price. The option for combination (meat and seafood) in each noodle or rice dish is very nice to have. They are willing to work with you on level of spice and omitting or adding certain ingredients. Came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. We were not greeted upon arrival however, took it upon ourselves to take a seat at a table by the beautiful wood carving by the windows. The service generally remained unwelcoming throughout our meal as evidenced by how hospitable our waitress was to other diners in the restaurant in comparison. Nevertheless, we ordered many items to try as we had been eyeing this spot for awhile. We both had Thai Iced Teas, that were made just right..not too sweet. For appetizer, we had the Thai Spring Rolls, that were amazing. Next, we shared an order of chicken Pad Thai, which by far has been the best I've had since arriving in Florida 4 years ago. Next, I had the mild spicy green curry with chicken and white rice; while he had the chicken teriyaki with white rice. I was blown away by the presentation of my green curry. It almost looked as if it was sitting atop an oil diffuser with a tea light underneath. It was totally cool, and kept my food warm throughout my meal. Unfortunately, his was apparently not where it was at. The chicken was reportedly dry and that the sauce was lacking in flavor. It did look like a hearty piece of chicken breast however. While there, I saw a lot of people come in to pickup their take out orders while we sat waiting for our food. I didn't realize that I've never had good tom kha soup until I tried the soup at Tub Tim Thai. It was hearty, sour, sweet, and spicy (I ordered spicy) all at the same time, and I couldn't get enough of it. The main was just as impressive - cashew nut stir fry with beef and fresh vegetables (lots of veggies!). The sauce was rich and flavorful and the dish was large enough to satisfy my never-ending appetite for Thai food. While the food was the star, the interior was warm, inviting, and relaxing. First time, and it was a carryout order. The restaurant is fairly small, and the ambiance is serene. I ordered the Massaman curry. There are five levels of heat ranked by stars. I chose 3 stars. It was perfect for a spice lover like me. On getting my meal home, my first thought was that it was well packaged and still quite hot. However, the white rice was a bit cold and haphazardly packed. I felt as if the curry could have had a tad more veggies. It had nice-sized chicken medallions. The curry was lightly dotted with an occasional peanut orb. After tasting the curry, my first thought was that the sauce was marvelous and more complex than expected. The veggies were a bit on the crunchy side, but they were really good, and I was glad they were not mushy. The avocado gave the dish a nice silky texture and subtly elevated the dish. I know that with tax and tip, a $20 item should be packed accordingly. Despite that minor issue, what I had was the best Massaman curry in the region. read more

Making it a priority to try all the different restaurants Wellington has to offer && Tub Tim was one that has caught my eye and I've been wanting to try. Tonight we stopped in and it was surprisingly busier than I had anticipated. We waited for a few minutes without being greeted but once one of the waitstaff noticed we were there attended to us right away and told us where to sit. Service was quick after that. The restaurant is pretty cozy with tables and limited booths. They have additional seating at the sushi bar. In the dining area there was a tv and they were playing a playoff football game. We started our meals with miso and wonton soup($5 each). The broth and ingredients tasted fresh. Our main dishes consisted of the dragon roll ($18)and chicken pad Thai. My first time here with my fiancée and granted it was a 3 star restaurant we figured we'd give it a try cause some places aren't what they're rated. First off, they're on the pricey side. I had gotten pad see ew with shrimp and tofu, pad Thai with beef, papaya salad and 2 mango stickie rice and the total was $71. The pad see ew was good and veggies were fresh so that was a plus but for the value ($27) it wasn't worth it cause I had gotten 3 shrimp. The stickie rice and mango to me was good and not for her. Only thing I really had to say about it was the rice was probably left out and was hard to eat so it was kind of stale. My fiancée said the papaya salad was good and pad Thai was ok. I think the only thing she likes was the bathroom LOL, she said it was REALLY nice. The decor was really Thai like which was nice, I mean it was a Thai restaurant. Parking outside was abundant which was good for busy season and there's a cool like size chess board outside. Decided to try this Thai restaurant as it was close to where I was shopping. The second I walked in I decided not to sit down to eat. The inside was to dark (it was only 5:30 pm)--poor lighting and tables cramped--too close to each other. The bar was also tight and overcrowded with decor. Decided to order take out instead to at least try the food. I was not impressed. The flavors are there, but I've had better and more authentic flavors in other local Thai restaurants. In addition, their prices are higher than most Thai restaurants in area for very standard food servings.
