Whenever I'm in the area, I always make a stop at Payathai. It's tucked inside a plaza with plenty of parking, which makes grabbing takeout super easy. Most of the time I order to-go, but when I have a little extra time, I love dining in. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has plenty of seating, it's clean, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. I've tried several dishes, Pad Thai, curry chicken with rice, basil wings, and even the edamame, and everything has been flavorful and consistently delicious. You can tell they take pride in their food. If you're in the mood for some really good Thai food, I'd definitely recommend giving Payathai a try. It's one of those spots you end up coming back to again and again.

I love this restaurant so much! I hate the fact that I moved further away and can't come as often but every time I come, I am reminded of why they are so good at what they do and why they stay busy. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Food is always delicious with great portions. This is a great family owned restaurant!

Wonderful Thai restaurant in this plaza serving delicious food. Between the Volcano roll and the Thai sweet and sour chicken, I truly liked the chicken much more. The dish bursted with flavors and had a good amount of sauce to eat with your rice. The staff was very friendly. What i liked the most was the owner who was also the cook came to our table to greet us and she was spectacular. She was friendly and kind and even taught us some Thai words. I would recommend to com to the place for the good food and good energy.

Extensive menu, with a surprisingly large lunch menu. Service is friendly although a bit slow, possibly due to understaffing. Definitely would try again.

I love this place! We have been coming here for several years. The food is always fresh. Sushi is bomb. Plenty of parking is available. The servers are very friendly and do not leave you waiting. They're alert and are constantly checking to confirm that you are okay. They open at 5:00pm.

This place is always hits the spot. Great food and great service! The place is small so it can get packed during busy hours. The sex on the moon roll is by far one of my favorites. Highly recommend trying it!

Amazing dumplings!! Such a soft, sweet dumpling! We loved that they are house made. But our favorite part about this restaurant was that for every entree you get to pick an appetizer (soup or salad), we picked the Miso soup. What kind of restaurant still gives a soup with your meal in 2025?!! So happy about this. The Pad Thai is the only reason I don't give this restaurant a full 5 stars. The flavor was 100% Pad Thai flavor, but the texture of the noodles wasn't what I was expecting for a Pad Thai, it kind of just felt a little ordinary.

We came on a Friday night and it was quite busy. However, it was but a short wait for an inside table (too cold for us to sit outside -- although some folks were enjoying the patio area). The kitchen was also a bit backed up and the couple servers overwhelmed. And they had a ton of takeout orders stacked up waiting for pickup -- and it was nonstop. Even so, we were not in a hurry so we were fine. Plus we had several nice conversations with our neighboring table customers. I started with a house salad -- which came at the same time as our drinks. The salad had ginger dressing and was just as expected. The server came back later to take our entree orders. (She did the drinks first then the mains -- all in order of who was seated when.) My husband had their build your own sushi bowl. You choose your protein -- he went with sushi salmon -- and your base -- he chose sushi rice -- plus all the toppings that appeal. He liked it. Even the toasted garlic! I had their roast duck noodle soup. It was wonderful. Perfect for a cool night. The broth was so flavorful. Along with the flat rice noodles, there were several nice chunks of boneless duck, scallions, and bean sprouts. I took some of the leftover noodles and broth home. I'd definitely get this soup again. It's easy to see why they are so popular. Food was very good and prices are decent. Looking forward to coming back in the very near future.

Another local dinner outing and my wife discovered this spot. Small interior seating but a two top was leaving as we arrived and was cleared for us. Drink orders were taken and delivered in short order. We placed our dinners and noticed that the "Take out" orders were coming out and bagged while inside diners had empty space on their tables, including us. After 40+ minutes our orders arrived. Our server apologized, stating they only have two Woks and during heavy volume, orders do back up. (My Sushi bowl did not require the use of a wok, Nor did my wife's Duck Soup.) My Salmon Sushi bowl was quite good and my wife said she would come back for the Duck Soup. An opportunity observed and needs to be remedied ... As in most businesses, the phone takes priority over customers standing/seated in front of you.

I just moved to Boynton and wanted to try a Thai place out of the many that are available. I called to order and it was promptly ready in about 20 minutes. Everyone that works at the restaurant is super nice and kept checking on me until my food was ready because I got there a little early. Presentation is great, now to the food and the taste. Edamame were just regular edamame. Nothing crazy. The house spring rolls were stuffed with shredded chicken and it was a little too much chicken in my opinion and a tad dry. The sushi rolls were very good but for some reason the soy sauce that came with it was extremely salty...like not normal tasting to me so I couldn't even use it. The Pad Thai had a bunch of big juicy shrimps and a lot of egg and peanut and onion however, the sauce was a little bit bland. I'm glad I tried it but I think I will be trying a new place next time since there's so many to choose from in this city .

Great service and fresh food. The sushi is delicious. I tried the Sex On The Moon roll and my husband had their house Lo mein. The portions are huge. Wonton soup broth is bursting with flavor.

They assured me everything was taken care of. After we finished eating, our table was cleared and nothing happened. No dessert and no birthday moment. I had to go back to the hostess stand twice before someone finally came over. Eventually staff came to sing Happy Birthday, but there was still no dessert or candle for my daughter to blow out. When I spoke to the male manager, he became argumentative, talked over me, blamed me for the situation, and escalated the conversation instead of de-escalating it. Instead of helping, I felt like I had to defend myself while explaining what had happened. The female manager said it was normal for them to sing Happy Birthday without dessert first, and then bring dessert later so families can do the candle moment privately. In the end, they finally admitted there was confusion because they thought I had brought my own cake, even though I had already picked the dessert beforehand. There was no sincere apology. The only thing offered was "don't worry, we won't charge you for the dessert." But I was never looking for free food. I just wanted a memorable birthday moment for my daughter. My daughter only turns 10 once. What upset me most was that instead of helping fix the situation, the male manager escalated it to the point where I felt like I had to defend my point rather than being helped.

They have nicely decorated section with fake Bansai trees and pebbles. Looks beautiful and clean. There are couple of other trees spaced out throughout the restaurant. The service was a little slow even though we were the only table there at the time. We ordered green teas, hamachi jalapeño app, and 4 rolls to try (green dragon, Hokkaido, sexy crunch, and sweet potato curry). The rolls were generously portioned (expect to pay $25-30 for specialty rolls), the visuals looked pretty decent (served on a small boat), but the flavors were on the bland side for me. The green tea was little too flavorful. The individual pieces of the rolls were little too big than what we were used to. The sushi rice was wet and there was too much rice used for the rolls. But maybe some customers who are used to this might prefer this style more than what I prefer personally. Out of the four rolls, in our opinion, the most unique one was the sweet potato curry roll. It's very different than the traditional rolls you will find at other sushi restaurants. Overall the experience wasn't bad. I might visit again next time just to make sure. But after the first time visit, I am a bit hesitant to recommend this place to others with certainty. Sushi Bang bang is located in a plaza that is hard to find from outside so make sure to follow your GPS. They offer some parking spaces in the plaza where they are located. Please share with me how you liked your experience if you decide to give it a try.
