I went here for the Super Bowl with a reservation for 20 plus people. They serve minors alcohol & claim their ID'S scan! I saw an 18 year old wasted off her ass! She showed me her ID & it looked nothing like her! The owner's girlfriend/wife is a F'n joke! Charging each person at my table of 20 plus $9.95 gratuity when nobody waited on our table! We all had to go to the bar to order drinks & food. I disputed the gratuity with my bank & it was refunded! As a local of fw who has been multiple times to poop deck. I slowly get more disappointed each time I go. It's a nice local bar mainly filled w redneck locals and underage Tcu kids or minors. During the day ur most likely gonna be the only one there. But This place is great news for underage drinking! They don't care as long as they get business. Reasonable prices and great pub food at the new location. I was wonderfully surprised at the new location. They didn't change much from Fred's (same lay out and furniture), but the murals are a work of art! Good: Parking is better in the area. Just watch traffic if parking around the circle. Prices are very reasonable for this area. It tends to be a little higher, but they were not too bad. The french fries - I'll go back just for these babies. They were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Heaven! Not great: It's a bar/pub. The food is really good for pub grub. They are short on help (July 2021) Keep your expectations in check for this pub and you'll do well here for a meal and a beer. read more

Save your money and avoid taking your date to this place. As far as the food goes its overpriced and mediocre it's a bar so you get what you get. The drinks are also overpriced, and the bartenders have little knowledge on mixed drinks and the mixed drinks are all over the place sometimes you get a good amount of alcohol sometimes you get barely any. Every time I've been to the poop deck I've seen a fight or two. Save your money and take your date to a nice place a safe place avoid the poop deck. read more

Super excited to go this afternoon, but once I got there it was awful.. the normal Sunday bartenders were not there and we missed them a lot, the service was so awful the waitress blatantly ignored me and would only speak to my boyfriend.. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, had brunch, the food was amazing. I had the avacodo toast my date had a burger. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Pam the bartender was great. The one ding I had on this place was it filled up pretty quickly. By 1:30pm the place was hopping. The bartender was totally alone. One gentleman was helping but he kept going to the other side (restaurant) as well. We waited awhile for a drink and then waited some more. Went in early Saturday Night after reading the menu on line. Menu looked good so we thought we'd give it a try. Never made it that far. When we walked in the place appeared to be two sections. There was only one table occupied in the first area we went in and it was very cold. So we tried the other section where there was a bar, some dining tables, and some pool tables and many televisions. This section was much warmer than the other section and there were a few people at the bar and a few at tables so we sat at a table. There were several guys playing pool. For as few of patrons there was we thought it was taking long for a waiter to come by. We were starting to regret coming to the Poop Deck when one of the pool players let out a scream that could probably heard in Weatherford. First off, I love that when you search for The Poop Deck on Yelp, the second search hit is the Fort Worth Zoo. I guess there likely is a lot of poop on those decks... Anyway, this place was a dive of a dive. We went on a Tuesday looking for some karaoke. The bar was full of older, regulars from the neighborhood. We three were the youngest in the place by about 30 years. The bartender let us know right away that the Coors keg was out, and when we asked what kind of beers she had, she said "Pretty much all of them." That cracked me up, in the microbrew age that we are in, since she basically meant Bud, Miller and Shiner. We didn't hang out too long because it was taking forever to get the karaoke going. Apparently they wait to see how much of a crowd shows up before they take any singers. The karaoke dj told me it usually gets packed after 11 with TCU kids. We decided not to stick around, so perhaps I will go back to see the actual singing. I have to say, they have the most extensive list of karaoke songs I have ever seen, including Pachelbel Canon (does that have words???) and the Crab song from the Little Mermaid. read more

I went to lunch yesterday at the Poop Deck with 5 friends. It was early for lunch and they seemed to be just getting ready to serve. But the servers were very friendly and took our drink order quickly, then served them, and took our food orders. We all ordered something different. The best part of my lunch were the french fries. They were just crisp enough, tasted like real potatoes, and I ate all of them - which is rare for me. I usually only eat my French fries when they are first served (in other places) but these were good to the last bite. read more

We really were excited that the Poopdeck had a food menu, but today I was really sorry I came in to try. I will say this, the place is clean! It's so clean that there's an over powering smell of cleaner in the air. We had gotten a flyer in the mail and decided to try it out. It was before 1p on Saturday, and it wasn't busy. We walked in, we weren't greeted and I asked if we could sit anywhere and the waitress was like,"Yeah." We waited for someone to come wait on us. The other poor waitress was the only one busy. I even asked if she was the only one working? No one looked like they had any desire to be there. It took forever to get a menu, and by time we finally got our food we had to ask for a to go box to leave. The food was okay once we got home, but we will probably not return. That place is okay for drinking, but if they expect to have a heavy food clientele they better up their game on the customer service and waitstaff. I don't care how long they've been in the area on "that other road". Being on the circle is a different deal and people won't stay to eat when they can grab a hamburger or other bar food further up the street. Its located in a shopping center with a gas station, a carniceria, a panaderia, and one other shop I don't remember. Parking is terrible. Yellow belly original Coors is the only draft beer. They have bottles of other brands/flavors/taste. You have a full bar of liquor at your disposal. I don't know if they have food...although if they did I don't know if I would eat it. There's a taco truck that posts up outside that is delicious though. It's dark inside and yes the ventilation kinda sucks so you'll smell like smoke after. Not a problem if you're a smoker though, am I right?! Every time I have been here I've had a good time. The next day is always miserable because I'm too hungover to function. Several times I've gotten the pleasure of going back the next day for my debit card. The crowd is mostly older regulars but lately a lot of TCU kids are going slumming here. Dressing up in their frattiest best to hit up the local dive. Meh. They have pool tables and karaoke two nights a week. I sincerely enjoy watching karaoke here. It's both amazing and terrible. I can't believe I am the first person to review the Poop Deck! This is one heck of a place, I mean really, how could they not be with a name like The Poop Deck?? They have beer, they have peanuts in a weird 70's dispenser, and salty bartenders that are sure to serve up some sass with your order. It's kind of hard to find, tucked away in a shopping strip in a residential neighborhood, but I am sure any local TCU student can point you in the right direction. So Saturday 4-30-22 night was a regular night for me to go to the poop deck. Mind you I live in walking distance so I go there to eat and at nights to go hang out. Well this Saturday was very upsetting. Their is a new bartender there by the name of Emily. I had already had friend tell me about her the few weekends before saying she was new there and was a very not so nice person. Well I got to witness this my self. I got there about 12 am after a long day to go hang out as I always do. Well it was me and about five other ladies. I was staring towards the bar but not at her. She comes from around the bar walks by our table and asked "What are we staring at" .. It really threw us off being we were in a bar and you (Emily)were working. Mind you she was still serving customers who clearly had already had to much to drink, falling over and stumbling. Ok that was just to start. So we let this go because we are ladies and don't act like that. So fast forward.. We(me and friends) were outside taking pictures and having fun. Well me and friend were staring at the bar again and she starts to flipping us off literary with both hands.. I'm upset because this ball of negative energy got me out of character as I'm sure she was trying to do. I feel so upset to still be thinking about it. The owners wife (Mya) is aware of how she is treating customers. Mind you Mya watches the cameras during all this each time she (Emily ) has acted out. This bar is attached to a gas station in a super seedy part of town. A great place for karaoke, but if you're looking for a crowd younger than 65, look elsewhere. It's the type of hometown bar that I'm sure the locals love, but just be careful in this area of town. Drinks are cheap and strong, but there's a $15 credit card minimum. Karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays, max 30 minute wait to sing. Would consider looking into other options. read more

Went to The Poop Deck a week or so ago and ordered the Jalapeño Bacon Cheeseburger(which was AMAZING!) and my husband got the Southern Fried Catfish, which he also enjoyed. We had the sweetest and most charming waitress we have seen in a long time!
