Either I get seated and no one comes to take my order or I'm standing at the hostess area for a while, waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I've even wondered if I'm invisible at times. Overall satisfied with food - I asked for tweaks in the salad which they obliged. However, steak was served cooked through though I asked med rare and our server told us it's usually served rare. I also asked for a mezcal drink and she offered to do mezcal in the skinny marg but didn't tell me it would be a $7 up-charge. I could've done without it. If you're looking for a fun brunch place you should try Porch. There was a DJ playing music, football games on the TVs, and brunch drink special of a bottle of prosecco with orange juice for $20. We decided to get the bottle of prosecco to share. I ordered the chilaquiles with green chili pork which were really good. I would order it again and definitely recommend. The portion is big and could easy be shared. My friend ordered the breakfast skillet, which he enjoyed. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently. read more

I really enjoyed my visit. Kelsey was our server and she was so kind and knowledgeable. We asked more questions than she was probably prepared for and she answered each one with a smile. Their menu was misleading as the wedge salad was actually chopped and the fried pickle chips were actually spears. I enjoyed the drink menu. There were just as many drinks as there was food. I had the Porch for dinner for the first time through one of their delivery channels. I can't comment on the aesthetic of place, but I have driven by before and it looks really cute from the outside. For my delivery I ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños, the Buffalo cauliflower and the skillet cookie. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were incredible! I would definitely get those again. The skillet cookie was also really good, though, not sure how you could go wrong with a cookie and ice cream on top. The Buffalo cauliflower I ended up tossing because it didn't travel that well. It was a little soggy by the time it got to me. I would give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt though and try it again at their restaurant next time. Overall I was satisfied with my food, just a little bit pricey but I can say the jalapeños were worth the price tag! read more

Update #2: The manager did follow up and confirmed yes there is pico in the salad which has jalapenos. He took care of our bill and made sure I was ok. Update: After writing this the table we wanted was cleaned and another group was seated. Also I ordered the Baja shrimp salad and somehow jalapenos was added (not on the menu). I'm allergic to jalapenos and will go into anaphylactic shock. Luckily I only ate a tiny piece, my throat didn't completely close, and I didn't need an EpiPen. The manager did apologize and my salad was remade. Came for the sole purpose of sitting outside on a swing only to be told by the hostess she wasn't sure if the empty table was still being used. It was very clear the group that had been there had left, but her excuse was "they might be in the bathroom". She didn't bother to ask the server and would only sit us inside. How do you not know what tables are checked out? Maybe they need more tables with swings??? Hopefully the food is better than the service. So far I'm not impressed. Bummed. read more

If I could give them O stars I would. I went Over to have to drinks and food with some coworkers ( about 9 of us). We had several drinks and order plenty of food so our tab was not small. Unfortunately I left my sunglasses behind ( not cheap). Next morning when I attempted to used them I noticed they were missing so I back tracked my steps and immediately knew where I had left them. I called The Porch that same am ( waited until they opened) and asked if my sunglasses were there, I gave the description and brand and was told that yes in fact my sunglasses were there. I was told that they will hold them for me "up front". That same afternoon after I left work I drove to the porch to retrieve my sunglasses and was told that "they couldn't find them". What it looked like a manager to me, took my information and said she would call me. Well, my glasses are lost and I never got a call back. So, is it my fault? Yes for living them behind, but at the same time obviously someone on their staff decided to keep my sunglasses and now they can't be found. We do gatherings with large groups all the time so this will definitely not be a place I will ever suggest going to. read more

Let me start by saying it was a Wednesday.... and I wanted to give 3.5 stars (but I always round up). I really wanted to love this spot but it was just okay I arrived around 9pm for late night snacks and drinks with my bestie. I checked the website BEFORE I drove 45 mins out of my way just to find out they only stay open based on the crowd...which is way different the we close at 12. Seeing that it was slow there was only time for 1 drink before last call and the kitchen was already closed. The staff was very friendly and suggested other places for me to go as not to waste my good gas! All in all I'd love to try them again on a different night. read more

We came here on Christmas eve with our daughter. They have a waitlist that you can put your name on which really helps. But when we came there was no wait. I ordered the quesadilla. It wasn't anything special and was just your usual quesadilla. I would definitely come here just for their drinks there. The presentation of the drinks are so cute and unique. One of the drinks that I ordered was the small double feature. It comes in one of those old school popcorn containers and even comes with a cup of popcorn on top of your drink! I can't remember the name of my second drink but this was also unique and comes in a chinese take out box, a fortune cookie and chopsticks. The drinks were definitely not weak and delicious. Went there on Sunday. I was seated right away so that was really nice as the places next to it all had long wait. We were so excited to get in so fast. Well, then we sat down and waited for 20 minutes with no a single server to ask if we even wanted water . We waited and waited. After 10 minutes of wait, I decided to put my name on the wait list for Snooze through the Yelp wait list feature for them, just in case. Well, 20 minutes went by without service so I re-checked my place on the list with Snooze through the app and I was the next person. So We got up and politely let the host know we were leaving due to no service. The host was very nice and apologized for the issue. So two starts for the location, it is nice and has open spaces and a patio. We took a few selfies and are thankful we got to sit in air conditioned area waiting in a hot day. That's about it. We hosted a business dinner here last week for a group of about 20 people. We were given half of the outdoor patio (which was nice and cool due to the shade and the misters). Since this was a group event, there was a lot of socializing going on and many of us were moving around to different spots. Our waiter did a PHENOMENAL job of accommodating us and keeping track of our food and drink orders despite all the movement. He left us a big tray of waters as well, so we never had to ask for refills. This place is good for "fun" cocktails. I ordered a blueberry mule which was very tasty and a bunch of my coworkers ordered their other fun selections. We started off with one of the large appetizer samplers. I didn't try everything on the sampler but I did enjoy the guac and the queso! For my meal, I ordered the border bowl with chicken. It was a very large portion and was pretty good. We made a reservation for a party of 10 and confirmed they could fit a party of that size. They ensured us on the phone that they could. When I arrived, there were 2 picnic tables, on in front of the other. When I said we had a reservation and we wanted to sit together the hostess said "well this is what we have". A young gentleman quickly came out and moved the tables so we could sit together. The waitress was very inattentive and took forever to bring us our drinks and take our orders. When the food finally came out 6 of us got our food while the other 4 waited as we ate. The last 4 finally came out but one person's food was the completely wrong order, so it was sent back. It did not come until we were all completely done eating. This was a special event for our family and while it wasn't "ruined", it was the worst restaurant experience we've had in recent memory. This is a place where a 23 year old goes with their friends to get hammered. The service was awful, the food was just ok (and that's being generous) and the drinks were nothing to write home about. Our server- Whitley, was honestly terrible. She came to the table 3 times in the time we were there. Never brought us silverware, napkins, plates, water, etc. When we asked for silverware they brought us ONE SET. Not the best or worst, all around a "meh" experience. Came in here on a Saturday around brunch time and it was definitely busy which is to be expected. The place is pretty big and open which is nice, decor is very 2018 trendy. We snagged a seat at the bar and the bartender asked us immediately what we wanted without providing a menu or saying hello, I'm not a mind reader (but maybe he was) so we asked for a menu and scanned the drinks/food. We inquired about happy hour just because there were signs everywhere (thought it would be strange to have happy hour on a weekend but some do) and was told "ummmmm we I don't think we do that" which was fine. Food seemed pricy for what it was so we just decided to order some drinks. The bartender came and I ordered mine and he sped off to make it leaving my partner just sitting there without ordering his drink which I thought was kinda rude. The presentation on my drink was cute, but it was just a redbull vodka for $14 that you could Instagram - but I've had better drinks at frats when I was in college haha. The blaring music and general sloppy party vibe was not what we were feeling at the time so we decided to call it a day, the bill came quick and we paid and were in and out in less than 30 minutes which is always nice. Can't knock anyone here for slow service. This bar felt very "trying to be Nashville" (which is very trying to be LA) so in a sense it felt like a place that would have been cool a few years ago both in style and age of patron. I would recommend this place to freshly 21 year olds which unfortunately just isn't my scene anymore, we won't be back but it isn't entirely the establishments fault.
