Joined the waitlist online with about an hour wait. Went to the restaurant after 45 mins and checked in, and was told that's when our time starts so it would be another hour wait. NO WHERE on the join waitlist online does it say the wait time starts once you check in! What's the point of joining a waitlist ahead of time? Very frustrating especially for Mother's Day. Estimated waitlist time was 15-20 minutes. Waited over an hour. Second time I went inside to check on the wait no one that was there after us was in the front, they were all sat down and 3 booths wide open. Food took a while but nothing terrible. Reason I'm leaving this review is the $1.49 platform fee they are charging to scan their QR code at the table to PAY. This is nuts that YOU want your customers to pay this way but you are charging them? Our friends just paid and didn't even notice it. Won't be going back, hostesses are clueless and the additional charge like that, is ridiculous. Ok this place is like a mini club at brunch. Music was a lot of fun but it was a little loud but it definitely gave party vibes. The Bloody Mary was really good and I love that you can add what you want to it. The food is absolutely delicious, restrooms are clean as well. My only complaint was that we needed refill on our waters and it was hard to find the staff. It's is a very fun brunch spot with good food and drinks and would recommend. Lots of parking on the area and the staff was all super nice just had a hard time locating them when you needed some more water. I would definitely get it again. Also a good option for me because I'm not big on just breakfast food. Kind of took a while to order drinks, then even longer to order the food. I felt like we always had to flag down our server to order/get the check. They also had a deal if you signed up for their rewards for a free drink. We came out here for a mom brunch on a Friday morning around 10AM. I love that on this day, it was a little more quiet and quaint, not crowded which made our conversations easy! I know that on the weekends, there's a DJ which makes the place into a full-on lively brunch party. So if you're with little ones, I recommend weekdays or for weekends, or the option of patio dining, which won't be as loud. Unless of course they're wanting to vibe with the music! :) We started off with some cannoli donuts, which were so scrumptious and delicious! Some of us also got drinks at the Bloody Mary bar. Came here on a Monday morning. Service was fast & attentive at first, but then fell off once we got our food. Food was good, however they have a VERY bad fly problem in the restaurant. We were constantly swatting flies away from our food to the point that we eventually gave up on eating it because we were grossed out by all the flies everywhere. This was more than a minor inconvenience. It was absolutely disgusting, especially for a meal at that price point. Then it took a really long time for our bill to be loaded so we could scan and pay. The service was awful. The music was so loud I couldn't hear myself or my party speak. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits tasted like they were sitting in a freezer or something. The manager, I am assuming, was passive and did not engage with us at all, saw her talking to a different table that seemed to have a similar complaint. Tried to get a table at the bar but unfortunately there wasn't any so we had to wait about 40 mins or so. This place is always packed at every location! Like every location, they have a dj playing. It was a bit hard to hear each other but not too bad where we have to scream. It seems their menu has changed since the last time I've been. We ordered the Chicken Tinga Scrambler and The Best F#*%ing Birria Hash with a side of toast. Food came out pretty quick. I loved my chicken tinga scrambler dish! It had really good flavor and was the perfect amount for me. I think he liked his birria hash. The tortillas were a bit oily so he used toast instead. I've visited other locations but this is the first time ordering from this location. The food is expensive so you expect excellence. My son said his bread pudding French toast sticks were hard. The billionaire bacon needs a name change. It's thick, like Canadian bacon. But, it was burnt and too chewy to eat. The tamale eggs Benedict were delicious. The sweet cakes had great flavor, though I'd prefer they were solid instead of crumbly. The carnitas and sauce had great flavor, as well. This was ordered through a delivery app. I was disappointed I didn't receive my locally canned juice drink. It sounded yummy. Stopped in Hash Kitchen for some breakfast while in Mesa, as it was close to my hotel. We were seated as soon as we walked inside and the hostess was friendly. This place looks like it is kept clean and the decor resembles that of your typical trendy restaurant. You know, the ones with loud upbeat music and overpriced items on the menu? The food I ordered wasn't bad at all, with the exception of the pancake. The pancake had an earthy flavor and wasn't very good. The Mexicana scrambler I ordered was decent, although I'll probably try the chile relleno Benedict the next time I am in Mesa. My only concern was, our server was more interested in tending to her cell phone than taking care of her customers. Other than that, Hash Kitchen wasn't too shabby. My breakfast was delicious and we all enjoyed the hash scrambles, pancakes, French toast bread pudding sticks that came with creme brûlée dipping sauce...so good!!! Compared to the Chandler location this was "mild" in terms of music and crowd not in a bad way. This location is just quicker to get seated. The food was ok, considering I get the same thing all the time. However, my friend and I felt rushed. Maybe if we had sat at the bar we would be rushed so much. Luckily this location is far from me. The hostesses were not organized the best, we waited over 25 min for a table for 5 while there were several people who arrived after is with 2-4 people being set at tables that convert to 6 tops while the tried to set 4 of us at an elevated 4 top it was not large enough for 4 let alone 5. I will say, this place is always popping! If you have never been and you aren't a fan of loud music save the trip. It personally does not bother me, but if you are there to enjoy food and have a conversation you'll get the good food only. That said The service was still not good at all at this location. The food was very mediocre. The seasoning of the food was very unflavorful so I just think that overall this is not the place for me. From the service, to the impeccable cocktails and food, this is a must try! I was visiting friends from out of town and this was the perfect place to kick off our weekend. We enjoyed the Bloody Mary bar to start with and they had a great selection. You're able to choose your own type of bloody and then are given skewers to add whatever toppings you like. They have a huge selection from charcuterie meats and cheese to pickled veggies and bacon. Don't skip the bright yellow spicy cauliflower. It was my favorite thing! Aside from the Bloody Mary's their drink menu is quite impressive. I tried the Bad Idea which was a cocktail with yuzu and raspberry and it was delicious, sweet, and girly. We also had the Otterpop shot and the Bedrock Brunch shot (which tasted like a fruity pebble, cereal milk shot). Everything was 10/10.
