We have been in Dublin for about 10 days... we've eaten fine dining French, fine dining Seafood, & traditional Irish cuisine/pub food... THIS WAS HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD WE ATE ON THE ENTIRETY OF OUR TRIP! Sangria flights, quality drinks, AMAZING FOOD, extensive menu, amazing, helpful, and friendly service!!! They also serve food until 10:30 pm, in case you need a nap after a day tour/excursion.... This place was so phenomenal that I brought their menu back to our hotel with my high praise! Ambiance was lovely too!

Small, candlelit tapas restaurant in the heart of the Grafton street area. We had multiple beautifully prepared and tasty dishes. All of the tapas were served fresh from the kitchen and were delicious. The standout surprise was the brisket sliders. Amazingly tasty. The chocolate churros were definitely calorie worthy. Service was reasonably attentive with all of the servers pitching in to help.

Great food! Got the tasting menu... a lot of food! Loved best the hummus, aioli mayo dipping sauce, and my sangria.

Was not very happy with the taste of the food here. While the atmosphere is very cozy, the tapas is just ok. Nothing to try again

Usually, the dining room comprises an underground hideaway that is quite sleek and intimate. However, due to the lockdown measures, we had to do outdoor seating directly on William Street while we were there. The experience was still beautiful, thanks to the surrounding scenery. The cocktails were grand between the P61 Signature Cocktail and the Hugo -- both prosecco-based cocktails. The former was delicious between the peach puree and prosecco, while the latter was a little more tart with the elderflower cordial. For dinner, we kicked things off with gluten-free bread with a trio of dips that were quite tasty. The Tortellini I ordered was exquisite and scrumptious with how it was prepared between the goat cheese, asparagus, red onion, wilted spinach, cream sauce, and bacon. I applauded this lovely dish with the last bite. I devoured the warm almond flour brownie for dessert, served with chocolate sauce and gelato, which my wife could also enjoy since the dish was gluten-free. Overall, Platform 61 was a great way to conclude our second Irish journey. We will return, especially to enjoy the underground dining area.

The ambiance is very nice as well, romantic but also good for a fun night out with friends. 10/10 recommend adding this to your itinerary for dinner!

Something must have changed drastically in the establishment because I was simply astonished at the…read morecombination of how bad & mediocre my dining experience was. For starters it was some of the worst service I have ever encountered and certainly the worst service for a Michelin Bib Gourmand. For starters my server was ill acquainted with the menu. She had no idea what the cheese foam was other than it was served in a bowl. She brought a wrong starter and insisted I ordered it when I did not. I ordered my steak to be medium it came rare. By the time my main entree had arrived I was exhausted from dealing with this rude, combative and surly individual. The plate of still mooing meat didn't help. I just asked to take it home. Nope, she said we don't pack anything to go. I asked for the manager at that point who pack up my meal and I was finally free to escape from restaurant hell. As for the food, Bread, Cheese foam, Argentinian Steak, It was average and overpriced. And all the bread was easily day old. One and done. Spare yourself the one and just be done.

The sauces were extraordinary, each better than the last. Service was spot on, food presented with explanations as well as the wines. I included pic of menu so you can see all the food included- all the bites, one main per person and split dessert but we were filled. Ambience was cute, a hidden gem. We sat at the bar to watch the magic up close. Boy if we lived here we would bring family and friends for sure.
