Good food and good drinks. They have touch tunes so you can play whatever song you choose. I'll be back.

The music is nice and there is a lot of light with all of the windows. They have gloves and container lids for this buffet style salad bar so you can take your salad to go. Good quality ingredients with the option to get your salad chopped and mixed. So many dressing choices. They moved their dry toppings over to where other hot meals are: soups, etc and i think it made more sense having them where they used to be-on the same counter as the rest of the salad ingredients so that you could get them seamlessly mixed in without having to get back in line. So great to have a healthy place to go to and will continue to be a top spot for me. Thank you Salad station for being awesome!!

I like to get my ingredients and have them make it as a wrap. The salad bar has plenty of options and the salad dressings are plenty of pickings to choose from. The fruit is fresh that is on the bar and the choice of soups are tasty and plentiful. I am forgetting my number one thing the different flavors of lemonades that they have in store, all of them are tasty. Lastly the rewards program is worth signing up for buy one salad get the 2nd half off on somedays I get a random text to come and get a free lemonade. The interior is clean and has outside seating, high top chair seating and tables, it's a nice place to go during lunch with a few co-workers and grab a cookie on your way out.

I usually get a combo of a sandwich and soup or salad, and they now offer a trio option if you want some of each. In addition they have sides and desserts like cake slices or their amazing peanut butter rice crispy treats. They also offer pizzas with various toppings. My two favorites are the Newk's Club or the Turkey Avocado. Everything is made to order and you can see it all done right behind the counter, then they will bring it out to you. I appreciate that the soups are lower in calories, as are most of the salads. I really like the veggies that go in the greek salad, too. Newk's also has some of the best homemade pimento cheese and chicken salad around. Neither are like what you'd normally find at a grocery store. We've often bought containers of these to go so we can take home to enjoy. My only complaint is that you'll come out of there smelling like a toaster because of the bread smell. It's not bad but it seems to permeate whatever I'm wearing and I find that annoying when I smell like a restaurant the rest of the day. Subways is bad about this, too. I suppose it is somewhat unavoidable given this type of eatery.

I didn't feel like waiting for them to make it again so I just ate it. The bread they use is very fresh and soft. It was the best thing about the sandwich. As for the salad, the use mostly that fancy lettuce, one I really don't care for. I prefer romaine and iceberg. The blue cheese dressing was OK not anything special. The restaurant was very clean. They had a person bussing all the time. They had a steady stream of customers.

It was very good, but not sure what that thin sauce on it was, plus a few crumbled pieces of blue cheese. Kind of hard to hold and eat unless you smash it down. Craving satisfied.

While in town for our yearly vacation, we decided on Woody's Roadside for a quick and easy dinner…read morebased on the reviews and pictures, as well as recommendations from a few locals. Unfortunately we were left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. It's not that Woody's is bad, per se, it just isn't...good. The service was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was very attentive and helpful. She didn't hover but she made sure we had what we needed and was nearby if we had questions or requests. Jaclyn recommended the margarita, which is where things started going downhill. My dad ordered a classic lime margarita and didn't take more than a couple drinks of it. We all tried it and agreed it just had a nasty flavor. Sort of like bad white grape juice? It was weird, and of course there's a little asterisk on the menu that notes all alcohol sales as final. We were unimpressed with that but didn't even try to argue the point. Our food came next. It was actually incredibly fast service, especially considering the 30-top that was seated when we arrived, with their orders given to the kitchen right before ours. Everything was hot and fresh, though not all delicious. Here's a run down of my family's reviews of their food: Build-A-Burger w/ Amer. cheese - A bit too thick and tough like the meat had been slightly overworked, but it had a great flavor and was seasoned well. The edges were burnt and it was well done, not medium well. Good beer-battered fries. Spicy Hawaiian chicken sandwich - Very flavorful and tropical but the toppings made the bun soggy and the ratio of filling to bun was way off, even with ham and lettuce removed. Crab cake tower - The fried green tomatoes and sauce were great, as was the corn bean salsa that came with it. The crab cakes were good too, though nothing special. The shrimp on top were juicy and well-seasoned. Wouldn't go back for it though. Korean pork tacos w/ mac & cheese - They were okay. The slaw included was a bit too sour but the pork was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was too bland. Chicken strips & fries - The chicken tenders were cut wrong so they were hard to eat. I had to cut them up with a fork and knife to get bite-sized pieces that I could chew. They had a good flavor but the technique needs some work. The beer-battered fries have a strange seasoning on them that got more unpleasant the more I ate, but everyone else liked them, so that's probably just me. This is one of my least favorite restaurants we've been to on the Gulf Coast, which is unfortunate because I honestly thought I was going to like it a lot! For the price, I don't think this is a great place, especially because it's pretty out of the way from the main drag(s).
