First rate lunch specials!! Siam Thai is a great hidden gem on 49. The parking lot is tricky but once you make it inside, a fabulous dining experience awaits. The menu has a wide variety of options but I chose the basil chicken stir fry lunch special. The hot and sour soup appetizer with an egg roll started the meal off right and came included with the lunch. The basil stir fry was tasty and the portion was fantastic, especially for the price! What a steal! The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and probably better for smaller groups although I'm sure arrangements could be made for groups of larger sizes. Service was spectacular. The food was really delicious, I had the chicken green curry. I didn't take a photo but their Thai iced tea was spot on! My favorite was the mango sticky rice. Their spice levels are also accurate. I had level 2 and it was medium spicy, I think level 3 would have been too spicy. For reference, I can't tolerate too much spice. The only down side was that they didn't tell me ahead of time that they don't accept Discover credit card. But other than that, everything was great! read more

We came here a few times, when our apatite was demanding Thai. This restaurant is a great Thai restaurant, it's popular as well. The menu is excellent, and we tried various dishes, each time we came. We flat-out walked into Siam Thai and walked out completely smitten. From the first bite, the flavors screamed authentic in the best way possible. This place may be small, but don't let that fool you, it fills up fast, so getting there early is key. We showed up as a party of 9 and were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated within about 15 minutes of arriving. That alone deserves applause. Now, the food. The Thai basil shrimp fried rice was hands-down top tier. Smoky, savory, perfectly balanced, absolutely crave-worthy. The Pad Thai was a full-on chef's kiss, beautifully executed with that classic sweet-tangy depth. The Panang curry was rich, fragrant, and downright comforting. The chicken laab was the only dish that didn't completely steal my heart, the flavor was slightly off compared to my own recipe, but still enjoyable. All in all, Siam Thai delivered across the board. Authentic flavors, efficient service, and food that makes you immediately plan your next visit. We will definitely be coming back... and coming back often. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with some friends. We had planned on a different place but when we arrived, they were closed due to kitchen issues. After a quick Yelp/Google search for food, we all agreed on trying some Thai. I've never had Thai food believe it or not. One of my friends was very well versed in Thai foods and asked me a few questions to help me decide on a dish. Ultimately I ended up getting chicken massaman curry. I was blown away with how flavorful the dish was. I could not stop eating it. It was sweet but also spicy, but also rich and velvety as well. It's not often you order food and it's actually HOT when it comes to your table. My food gave me comforting vibes and was overall simply wonderful. I'd 100% recommend this dish if you've never had Thai but also can handle some heat. The staff were also so nice! Because many of us hadn't had Thai before, the waiter explained to us the dishes we ordered, how they're prepared and just some fun facts about each dish. Siam thai is a gift from god. My boyfriend and I have been here so often that we don't even need to order anymore! We always get the pho and have never found a pho that comes close to being as good. Nice little restaurant with very attentive staff. The menu was quite extensive and lots of good dishes to choose from. I chose the chicken panang curry and thought it was excellent. Lots of stuff including snow peas which is always a favorite in a bowl of curry. My dining partner had the Ginger chicken and vegetables which I had a sample of and can say it was very very good. My favorite Thai restaurant in Harrison county! Their lunch specials are always worth it. Service is polite and attentive. They get really busy during 11-2 so please be patient- their business is booming and they are trying to keep up. Every once in a blue moon, I'll get some burnt fried wontons, but other than that they are marvelous. Spice level 2 is perfect, but when you want the heat get the level 3. The rolls were freshly made and the rice paper was delicate, the peanut dipping sauce was nice. "Chicken Satay and Pad Thai" very good, we ordered level 3, which is the hottest, very good I don't have a pallet for heat, but was able to have a few bites ! One of my coworkers recommended this place and since my wife and I were in the area we decided to stop by and try it out. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress took our drink orders as soon as we were seated. Within minutes she was back with our drinks and took our appetizer order which were their Siam chicken wings. She left to go ahead and out the order in and returned shortly after to take our dinner order. We decided to go with their large order of chicken Tom kha gai soup and the Drunken pork noodles. The Siam chicken wings were lightly batter with some kind of corn starch / curry flavored mixture. The coating was think at all and as soon as you take a bite into the chicken wings you can tell from the hint of curry it was there. Pretty good flavor but, for the cost of $7.99 and 8 pieces the wings should be larger in size or maybe give more pieces? Or lower the price on them? In one of my photos you can see the chicken wing was as small at the soup bowl which was pretty small. The large chicken Tom kha gai came out and when we saw the size of it we kind of thought that's pretty small for a family style serving that cost $11.99. I guess we were just expecting more from the price and from our experiences at other asian restaurants. Usually you would get a large quart size container of rice to go with an Asian meal because us asians sure do love rice! However, when the rice came out with the soup it more the size of a single individual serving. I would easily eat 3 or 4 bowls of rice without a problem. But, back to the soup which had decent flavor and bad for Thai place here in the Gulfport area. Again we wish the portion size was more family style then individual size. The Drunken pork noodles was actually a decent serving and my wife loved all the veggie ingredients that were in it. We were also pleased that the noodles weren't all mushy from being overcooked. They consistency and texture of the noodles made the dish much better then what we were expecting. We asked for level one heat since my wife can't eat spicy foods like we use to and it was not over powering at all to the point you can't enjoy the dish. All in the visit as good. The flavor of the food was good for this area. However, the portion size needs to be more family style portions if you intent for people to share the dishes. read more

Yes-!! to all the great reviews here. Had Fresh/Spring rolls, and that could've been my entree. The fattest rolls ever- with lots of shredded lettuce, Cucumber spear, shrimp. I had to pick it up with my hand, like a burrito, as no knives were provided. So fresh, delicious! Lovely smiling server made us feel welcome and kept drinks filled. Food arrived piping hot: Pad Thai (spice level 3) "a perfect spice level- not brain melting"- per my companion who is a Thai food aficionado.
