This place is great! Only leaving 4 stars because my first time was not so great. I had to ask my aesthetician to go over spots because she missed a lot (read this in a previous review with this specific person) and the receptionist was not friendly. She asked me with a snob attitude how much tip I wanted to leave as if I had no etiquette. Not a welcoming feeling at all. Just came in today again and it was the total opposite. I'm glad I gave this place another shot. During this Brazilian apt, my aesthetician got everything the first time and was super nice, and the receptionist was chill, thank golly it want the same chick! I've been coming to the Pretty Kitty for over a year now, and have only seen Jasmine. From day one, she made me feel very comfortable. She engages in great conversation with you and she is as genuine as they come. Her personality and energy is always positive. Aside from that, her work ethic is amazing!! She is super professional, Im usually in and out no longer than 15 minutes. Afterwards, its always smooth, no ingrowns, and the hair doesn't grow back for weeks. Jas gets her props from me 100%. Waxing alone is very painful, and can make you nervous but I am always at ease and can bare any waxing done at the Pretty Kitty. Priscilla has always been the one to keep me relaxed, and does a well clean job all while having a gentle touch. read more

IIIIII LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! went there for my 1st time on nov 1, 2014... took a couple of friends with me because my birthday was on october 2nd and my theme was "31 flavas" because i was turning 31... i chose to do/buy 31 things for myself and getting a wax for the first time was one of them! my friends and i hated it at first but quickly loved it.... i absolutely loved the results!!!! i went to top star nail for my 2nd wax because i couldn't make it to TPK....... TSN IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! went in for a brazilian wax.... they all scrambled and scattered like a bunch of wild cockroaches.... the lady stayed in the room with me while i got undressed (i understand she was going to see my bits anyway.... but for crying out loud...give me time to prep myself before going all spread eagle...good grief)!!! there was a towel on the table and i was told to sit......... i asked about putting paper down and she says, "oh...oh yeah.... i forgot!".......... and then she puts the container of hot wax between my legs..... proceeds to wax me.... did a terrible job...... had the nerve to whip out tweezers and start tweezing a few stragglers.... WTH?!?!?! i was pissed...... this really set me off..... SHE DOUBLE...TRIPLE..... QUADRUPLE DIPPED THE STICK IN THE CONTAINER OF WAX!!!! *SCREAMING*!!!! suppose the person before me or before them, had aids or something and the blood was mixed in the wax and seeped into my open pores/follicles/whatever?! i don't bleed a lot when i'm getting a wax.... but i bleed enough! i'm sure others do, too!!!! GROSS!!!! UNSANITARY!!!!! so another worker comes in and asks how it all went.... i told her how horrible the experience was and told that her i had gone to the pretty kitty and they don't double dip.... when i called top star, they said they didn't, but they did!!!! the lady asked how much i paid at pretty kitty and i told her.... she then tells me, "oh...well next time you come back, i'll charge you $55 and use a different stick each time!" i wanted to slap the taste out of her mouth for being so rude! she went and rang me up and asked if i was adding a tip to the $25.... i said ,"NOT IN THIS LIFETIME!"...... she looked at me crazy and handed me my receipt and that was that... i walked out of there so fast..... ugh!!!! thank God for the pretty kitty!!!! i finally went back today (1 week earlier than my scheduled 6 wks) and was sooo happy to be in great hands! had i tried TSN for my first time, i honestly don't think i ever would have gotten another wax again!!!! Ok ladies, either way it comes down to this; you are paying someone to RIP your pubic hair out! I'm not going to say it's all heart and flowers. It hurts. That being said, this place is amazing! I usually go to a high end day spa for waxing, but paying $90 is ridiculous. I went to PK because of the reviews on Yelp. I found a groupon for $27, instead of the $55 they usually charge for a Brazilian wax. I figured if I hated the place I would only be out $27. Tammy was great, she did so much more care-wise than the high end spa does. This place is clean and the take care of you. The thing I loved most was that the rooms are stocked with baby wipes so you can "freshen up" should you choose to do so. It's not the most comfortable experience, just like a trip to the gyno, but the end product is amazing. read more

They are very rude at the front desk. I would not recommend to anyone. The first time I went I truly enjoyed my service once I got into the back room, it was quick and painful but ok, I had a lot of pain after but didn't think anything of it because it was my first time having a Brazilian. The second appointment the front desk was so rude, quick to answer and made me feel like an inconvenience. I switched waxing centers and the complete experience was so much more pleasant and hurt way less even after I left. read more

This place is beautiful and very clean. The staff is always very pleasant. I highly recommend Shandi as your esthetician. I have been to her several times. She is always very professional and calming. She always makes me feel at ease and I appreciate her professionalism. The last time I was there, a woman walked in 5 mins late for her appointment and was very rude. She didn't even apologize for being late, had an attitude and then even went to the bathroom before she went back for her service and was in therefor an additional 8 mins. I know this because she was cutting into my scheduled appointment. Shandi continued to smile and spoke to her very respectfully. She kept her composure even though this woman was clearly disrespectful and rude. Every time I've gone in there, Shandi has made me feel at ease in a rather awkward and uncomfortable situation. You won't be disappointed with this facility and you definitely will be impressed with Shandi. If you're looking to get waxed, pick Shandi at the Pretty Kitty. read more

I find it ironic that the place is named "Pretty Kitty." I wonder if it's because The Savannah Cat Shoppe used to be here. The place still smells like cat piss when you walk by. This isn't a reflection on the new business, but I wonder if that's why they gave it the name? Perhaps they could hire someone to pressure wash the area! I called in at 6:30 and got an appointment for 6:45. I asked the receptionist if they used hard or soft wax, which she informed they use soft wax. My only Brazilian experiences have been with hard wax at European Wax Company (EWC), so I was a little frightened about the soft wax. Monica was my esthetician, she was friendly and fast. It was my first time at at Pretty Kitty, the environment was clean and welcoming. Monica left the room and asked me to use the wipes if I needed to. I go onto the waxing table and again wiped my for lack of a better term, Kitty Cat. As I mentioned before with only having hard wax, I was a little apprehensive about the wax paper being used. All in all it wasn't as bad as I thought. She gave me a cotton pad with oil (not so sure) to wipe off the remaining stickiness. We finished in about 15 minutes. Jasmine was my aesthetician. She was professional and friendly enough. She made me feel extremely comfortable, like it was no big deal my... closest and most special friend was just there, exposed on the table. The process went by extremely fast. There were moments I did feel like she wasn't putting as much thought into it, but I'd like to think it's perhaps because she has done it numerous times that it's become almost second nature to her. There were certain areas that were more sensitive than others but Jasmine would warn me ahead of time and tell me to count and inhale deeply on 3. I wasn't completely impressed by the end results because there were some very noticeable stubble left but she explained it was probably from my last shave and the wax couldn't grab it. I do not know much about waxing, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Overall, it was a decent first experience. The pain is tolerable and you almost forget that you're wearing your birthday pants. read more

I had never had a Brazilian until I was introduced to pretty kitty. I had heard great things about their location in Vegas and had always wanted to get waxing done but I have had bad experiences before in getting face waxed. I went and saw Priscilla Martinez and my experience was amazing. She turned my fear of waxing into the most pleasant one I have ever had. Priscilla is so great I can honestly say its worth going through it over and over again. Aside from Priscilla having a great attitude, and being friendly she has a way in minimizing the pain to a threshold that you can tolerate and be willing to do over again with ease. Pretty Kitty in Rancho Cucamonga is very elegant and clean and such a pleasant visit to go to every time.!! I strongly recommend to get all your waxing needs at this location and ask for Priscilla Martinez. She is the Absolute BEST!!!!!
