Very clean and professional staff. Although I am 8.5 months pregnant, and super sensitive, the waxing was not nearly as painful as when I was not pregnant at other places. The staff is very friendly, and answers questions thoroughly. They also give you good advice on how to care for your skin after the deed. I am absolutely in love with the Pretty Kitty. My sister frequents a location in Dallas, TX and highly recommended I find a location. I've been with them since they opened the location in Rancho and they have earned all 5 STARS. The smooth wax is much more tolerable than hard wax (the application is much smoother) and cleaner. This was my first time getting waxed and I went in and seen Jasmine. Let me tell you, I was extremely nervous. I honestly love this place. My first experience here went much better than I originally thought it was going to go. My first ever Brazilian was with Shandi ( who sadly is now at one of the Vegas locations ) and she made me so comfy and talked me the whole way thru it. My next go to girl was Holland ( who sadly is now no longer with the company ) & I liked that she was the same way, good convo, made you feel at ease etc. Then I had to start going to Hailey ( who sadly is ALSO no longer with the company ) and she was top notch as well. I don't know what's going on PK but you gotta keep your gems because the last girl i went to ( forgot her name, but she was from another location and just filled in ) was just "alright" ... I love this place and I want to keep coming back but I would like a regular esthetician and now I'm dreading who I'm going to get next that I like because 6 weeks later she won't be there!! I went in after I called the morning of the day I was around town to find out if there was any open time for me and Pretty kitty accommodated me :) I went in just for a Brazillian which was absolutely amazing and almost painless. I mean I have a high tolerance for pain but who else has enough pain down there not to feel anything....I don't think anyone, but I was almost amazed at Tiffany as she talked to me the entire time, made me feel comfortable and seriously wa gentle and it was seriously almost painless. I asked if there was time to wax my legs too and I course fully booked, but a stroke of fare happened as the appointment directly after cancelled. Best place to get anything waxed! I've been here before and I have to say they are great. The reason I am giving it one star today is because I was cancelled right as I was walking in the door. I have been here several times and always early sometimes I wait 10 minutes before I'm seen. That being said as I was walking up 6 minutes late they call to tell me I'm cancelled for being late. I drove 45 min from home, paid the sitter, and they would still not see me. I actually exited the freeway 15 min before my appt but there was so much traffic and people acting like jerks not letting me In the lane there was so much street traffic from the last minute shoppers that I didn't really think about before leaving. (tis the season, right?) believe me when I say I understand the business has to run on schedule, but 6 minutes late and your cancelled? (For the record I was finally parked at 1:35 a nd my appt was at 1:30) Okay fine, tell me beforehand your policy. I basically begged the girl to let me be seen as it's not easy to get a sitter, pay for gas, and sit in traffic only to turn around and go home. I do bookings for my husbands business and clients are let known of all cancellation, late arrival policies, and penalties beforehand that way there are no surprises. I just wish someone could have told me about the cancellation policy. Pretty funny too seeing as the last time I got there on time and still waited 10 minutes to be seen. A very wise businessman once told me that business is never ever black and white sometimes keeping the client satisfied is more import than keeping to strict rules. read more

Raylynn was the most unprofessional waxer I've ever had!!!! If I could give less than one star I would. She talked about other client's "horror" stories to ease my fears as a first time waxer, but instead it just made me never want to return. The place was so tacky, there couch is filthy in the waiting area. From the lobby I could overhear the waxers bitching about no shows and how they were missing out on money, so unprofessional. Then when raylynn took me into her room there was wax all over the floor, it was disgusting. I didn't even want to touch anything, let alone let alone let her touch my vagina. This place is wonderful! I went in for my first soft wax and it was a lot better than the hard wax I got somewhere else. I had shandi and she did her best to make me feel comfortable and let me get ready before she entered the room. It was quick and fast and it didn't even hurt that much! She never used the same stick twice. She even tried her best to pluck those stubborn hairs that didn't get pulled with wax. It is a bit pricey if you want to constantly go and get waxed. Went to the Pretty Kitty today for the first time and left as an extremely happy client. This was only my second time being waxed (the first time was at the European wax center). They have fantastic customer service, which I experienced from the moment I called to make the appointment to when I left. I had to call as I was running a few minutes late, and the receptionist was able to bump me down to the next appointment spot with no issues. She was so pleasant about it, not rude or condemning like other places are when your day doesn't pan out how you intend it to sometimes. Anyway, Shandi (I think that was her name) was my waxer and she was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable in her field. The waxing experience itself was worlds better than my last one. The soft wax they use at the pretty kitty was so much less painful than the hard wax used at the European wax center. I was literally in agony my first time, and this time I probably flinched a little, like, twice. By far the WORST waxing experience I have ever had. Staff is very RUDE and snobby. I left in the middle of my session and went down the street to Renaissance and they did an amazing job. Ive waxed for the past 10 years and have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I do not recommend the pretty kitty for anyone unless you dont mind the rude woman that work there and the terrible wax they use. The wax does not grab hold of the hair unless you have a chiya pet thing going on and it is NOT necessary to have 3 to 4 weeks hair growth. I am speaking from personal experience. If you do love this place then I may have just had a bad experience with Priscilla and she ruined it for me and anyone that i know. read more

I have been a regular client of The Pretty Kitty in the Rancho Cucamonga and Brea locations for the past 2ish years now and these ladies are SO WONDERFUL. They are professional and clean and the best part is you will ALWAYS be in and out in 15 minutes. Occasionally they offer FREE WAXING for training their new girls and you get the same customer service that you would get at a normal appointment, though they are slightly longer since the girls are new and training. The Pretty Kitty has a NO CHILD policy which I also love and the decorations are so cute and girly. I wish I could give them more stars! The $55 wax is worth it every time, DON'T subject yourself to a cheapo $25 wax or Groupon elsewhere, TRUST ME! (see my other reviews for an explaination!) The process they use is a lot less painful than other locations as well! The wax lasts about 6 weeks for me and I HIGHLY recommend any of The Pretty Kitty locations! read more

Clean shop and easy to get last minute appointments (for the most part) the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I never get seen on my appointment time. Usually starting 5 mins or later after my schedule appointment. I'm always early too. I've been going here for about a year and will continue. The price is okay. $55 for Brazilian. Wish they would lower it a little for how often people should go. Also would love if they did another groupon deal. Always keeping an eye out. read more

Today was my third brazilian with Tiffany, and let me tell you this girl is fabulous! She is such a sweet and genuine girl. She takes her time and makes you feel comfortable, which is especially important in this delicate area. The wax is soft and just the right temperature. Compared to other brazilians in the past, this is the least painful wax I have experienced. The studio is immaculately clean and the decorations throughout the studio are adorable. LOVED IT!!! My technician was April and she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I was a little apprehensive about going to begin with coming from EWC but I was happy I made the change. As soon as I walked in the place was very clean and cutely decorated. The receptionist was lovely and my technician(April) was right there to greet me and took me straight to the back. I loved how they step out of the room and give you privacy to undress. I had my underarms and Brazilian done. I wanted to do my legs but April in formed my hair was not long enough for an even waxing and to wait another week. I really appreciated her honesty and it made me feel that they weren't after me for my money. The waxing was quick and not that painful and every so often she would make sure that I was feeling ok which was great. After words she stepped back out the room to let me get dressed and while paying she wen over there exfoliating recommendations but didn't try to shove there products or any packages down my throat.
