Brought my friend here today for her birthday and was extremely disappointed one star is bare minimum I wish I can give them zero. First of all they're completely rude and lack customer service. The workers talk badly about the customers evidently in front of the customers. I'm not sure what type of training is given but speaking badly about customers is extremely unprofessional. I did not catch the girl's name but the girl with the hot pink hair was very rude and lacks professionalism. Giving one star simply bc staff was kind. Wax job was not good, this was not my first brazilian and i was used to the feeling/pain but this was on an entirely different level. waxed pulled up completely instead of going against my body which is what i am accustomed, it makes all the difference pain wise. Wax job was very rushed and they missed many spots. I was also in great discomfort for DAYS after. it was even uncomfortable to sit and move and i had never experienced that from previous wax jobs. I've contemplated leaving this review for several months and finally decided I should in case anyone else has had a similar experience that they're withholding from posting publicly. Several months back, I scheduled an appointment at the Pretty Kitty for a full Brazilian. While my esthetician was kind and made me feel emotionally comfortable, she did a terrible job with the wax itself. She reported during our conversation that she was the manager of the store and a trainer for other employees, and so I believed I was in good hands; however, during the waxing, she repeatedly waxed the same area several times, and though it was uncomfortable during the session, I figured she was being thorough and it was just a part of the process. Once complete and after putting my clothes on, I began to experience a significant amount of pain in the area that she had waxed repeatedly. As I hadn't gotten waxed in a bit, I figured, again, it was just a part of the process. It wasn't. When I got home and had the chance to take a closer look, I noticed spots of blood on my underwear. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the esthetician had fully and completely waxed off an area of skin one inch in length and about a half an inch in width. I was mortified and, needless to say, in a significant amount of pain. The pain lasted for about a week while the skin grew back. I called their customer line to report the incident and received a call back the next day. I was unable to accept the call and so returned their call the next day. I never heard back. And that is also why I decided to leave this review. I hope no one else has experienced anything similar to this, but if you have, please do not hesitate to share. Consumers deserve the opportunity to make informed choices about whom they entrust with the care of their bodies. read more

I got waxed on 9/10/22 by Kellie and she was awesome. I will definitely request her again. She had a very calm and relaxing demeanor and her experience clearly showed. So this was my first wax EVER. I was super anxious, I had tried sugaring before and didn't even make it through the whole appointment. Lol. When I first arrived all of the staff up front greeted me when I arrived. After I finished my paperwork, Jasmine came out and let me know she'd be right with me. Within minutes she had me back there and walked me through everything. She made me feel super comfortable and kept talking to me explaining everything. This helped me out so much and made me not so nervous. In all honestly I expected more pain lol. It was so quick and smooth. Jasmine was very thorough and did an amazing job. Hailey really stood out to me because her conversation is genuine versus most of the others. She makes you feel very comfortable and is noninvasive if ya know what I mean. Today, I had the absolute, most pleasant waxing experience, thanks to my new go-to waxer, April! From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed with the beautiful interior! Super chic! It was also incredibly clean and well-kept. I was greeted immediately by the friendly receptionist, and told April would be with me shortly. After a minute or two, April came to get me, and took me to one of the rooms. She left the room so that I could undress, I hopped on the table, and a few minutes later April was back to help me out with my "situation." 20 minutes of amazingly positive conversation, I was done! I was seriously impressed with how quickly and efficiently she worked! For those of you ladies who are apprehensive about waxes, trust me, I was you a few years ago, and let me assure you, they are NOT as painful as they seem. Completely tolerable! AND if you happen to have a great waxer, like April, who makes you feel comfortable and knows what she is doing, the experience is ironically pleasant. Hayley proved to be an okay runner-up to Priscilla today. (I still think Priscilla needs to teach everyone how to wax because when she waxes, you're looking at yourself 10 days later wondering if the hair has been permanently removed.) After trying other places, I prefer the Pretty Kitty to any day spa and any nail salon that fronts like they have a license to wax. Some complain about how hard the Pretty Kitty pulls or being sore, but you're getting hair stripped from the root and out of your skin....you don't want anyone who's going to hesitate and there's going to be some pain. I told them it was my first time, so they gave me advice of don'ts before my appointment. I got an appointment with Tiffany and she is so nice and professional! When I was paying the cashier, after being waxed, the esthetician stepped back out to make sure I was going to tip her, kept staring me down and walked away to go back to her other client after she heard I tipped. That's never happened to me anywhere so because of their bad customer service and the way they talk to customers I won't be back. Also the prices are too high for the cheap wax. Sugaring is usually $60 but not regular wax, I thought they sugared that's the only reason I went there, 1st and last Update: Started growing back in 3-4 days, have I grown hairs looks like I have razor bumps. This was my first time going to an actual professional Waxing Boutique. The place was nice, clean, and classy. The staff was incredibly friendly, not pushing, never tried convincing me into more work or higher packages. Amazing service. From the moment I called to make an appointment, my interaction with the staff was great. They really helped make it an overall great experience. I was going on a vacation with the boy friend, so I wanted to do a Brazilian. Yes, this was my first time getting one. Now... I'm a Plus Size gal, so going in was a bit intimidating Didn't know what to expect, but I got over it once I walked in. Never did they make me feel uncomfortable or out of place. I had feminine wipes in my purse and used their restroom to freshen up before I got called in. Turns out they also supply wipes for you to freshen up while you're getting ready in the room. Again, since I didn't know what to expect, I made prior arrangements. ;) So for all you new gals considering a Brazilian, just know that they supply them for you and allow you to freshen before your session starts. Now you would think it be embarrassing and awkward, right? Kid you not, I was so at ease, that it wasn't. Coming from a plus size gal, that's something. At first I was like I don't know how I feel showing my hoo-ha to another gal. I mean, even going to the OBGYN is embarrassing. All of the nervousness went out the door, because it truly was a very comfortable environment for me. My Esthetician was Sophia. She was how do we say... AWESOME! Sophia truly helped make it just that much more of a wonderful experience. It was an easy going process. She was attentive, polite, explained the process, knowledgeable in the products being used, we basically were shooting the breeze. I was like...."Girl, you tell me how you want me, and don't be afraid to tell me to raise, lift or hold mah belly up for ya!" The girl was cheerful, smiling, laughing, we talked through the whole process. BTW, I had my armpits and a Brazilian done. Sophia made sure to get every section of hair. She also did a great job in removing and cleaning all the wax. Sophia also gave me wipes with product to clean up even more, before changing, in case if I felt she missed any wax. There was no stickiness after. I went in thinking it would be painful, but I was surprised as to how much it wasn't. I think in my head I expected the worst. Yes, there were sections that were more sensitive than others, but there wasn't any actual pain pain. It was more of a quick sting, then anything and very tolerable. Sophia did prep me and had me breathe in and exhale while she was doing the sensitive areas. I think since I was such at ease and we were talking nonstop through it all, I wasn't focused on the "OMG, its going to hurt!" So it does help to be relaxed and at ease. The whole process didn't take long. I was finished before my sister in law and she was called in before me. She got her lower legs and arm pits done. Now I went in on May 19th. Its been a few weeks now since I had the hair removed. Grow backs? Yes. Some. No in grown hairs, hair seems thinner, but not a lot or long enough yet to go back. I was told roughly four to six weeks would be reasonable time to go back. Everyone's body is different, so the grow back rate varies. I think I will wait for the 8 weeks myself. Would I recommend Pretty Kitty? Hell yes!! You got to go and check out mah girl Sophia. She is amazing. Especially any first timers who are nervous. I totally recommend you seeing her. read more

She was the most friendly and personable person to have for such an appointment. She met me at the front counter and made me feel relaxed and did an awesome job. I go here all the time! Priscilla is the best! He makes you feel so comfortable and she is quick and efficient! I wouldn't go anywhere else! The place is a little pricy at $55 per waxing when you can go somewhere else for 25$ but it's totally worth the extra 20 bucks! I'd much rather have it done right apprised to having it done and not being satisfied with the results! My results are amazing! It's like barely any hair! I love it!
