Just had my first Brazilian Wax with Technician Haily she was professional it was quick and pain free. The use grape seed oil n tea tree oil to clean you up it's a nice added touch. The one star is for the kindness of the associates other than that horrible job. I was left with so many strays, I usually wax with someone home based but they were booked and I needed a wax so this is my plan B I've been having horrible experiences the last few visits but this one was the last straw. Again the estheticians are very kind very nice but the quality of their work is horrible. I had a great experience here. Had a 10am appointment (for a Brazilian...clearly) and I was walking out the door by 10:20. My esthetician was extremely great. (Will edit later with her name when I remember). She kept talking to me the whole time and was very knowledgable and skilled. The actual waxing took 10 minutes. The other ten minutes was me preparing and then payment. Wax was very effective. I would show you all but I'm pretty sure that's illegal. lol KIDDING. I was only going to leave 2 stars; but the facility is clean with friendly Staff and my visit was fast and almost painless. Sadly, I'm 4 days past my Brazilian Wax and already patches of hair are coming. It feels like I shaved. This is a first. Not sure why this is happening. It was so painless, I asked if everything was coming out ok. She said yes, so I relaxed and enjoyed not having to hold my breath. I had more than enough re-growth. Came here for the first time, I felt super awkward at first I never had got waxed before but as soon as I walked in staff was amazing and made me feel so comfortable . When I went back the lady did an amazing job and was so quick!! Pain level was 3/10 the first wax was more a shock then pain to me but I also have a high pain tolerance . I go in once a month and I don't have a preference when it comes to a waxer however, I went in yesterday and I'm not sure who she was, never seen her before but she was not friendly. She took me in about 10 minutes late, she was a slow waxer, and barley made conversation and when she did, it was like 2 questions. Her tone and vibe was very unfriendly. She also kept asking me if I put a deposit down? I told her yes and she kept telling me she didn't see it, when I have the receipt that I did. read more

Everyone is super friendly, receptionist is wonderful and very helpful! However I have to give 2 stars because my wax wasn't/isn't very good, I still have hairs everywhere I'm really disappointed in the end result The girl that did the wax was friendly but she needs to pay attention to the details. It looks like I have a weeks worth of grow out (no exaggeration) and it's a fresh wax. She even tweezed me so I know she saw the whole bunch of stray hairs Why wouldn't she try to wax or tweeze them out ? :( read more

The ladies here were very very nice. I came here for a Brazilian wax which was about $65. My particular waxer was very rough and honestly seemed very unexperienced. When I had asked her how long she had been waxing, she said 3 weeks. I have never had a problem with bumps or ingrown hairs but after I came here I experienced A bunch of uncomfortable bumps. if you're considering coming here, I would recommend asking for a esthetician who is more gentle and experienced because I'm sure not all of them use this rough technique. read more

I really feel that my gal is not all up in the business even though I am sitting butterfly style on my back on a table. First, they offer numbing gel...omg...TAKE IT, TAKE IT, TAKE IT. IT will make the experience 20 times better and the bottle will last you so very long because if you come every 6-8 weeks and it only takes a couple of drops to numb your area. Second perk to this place is speedy service. Who wants to take a casual stroll in the park when ripping pubic hairs out from the root? Not I. I went to this place not knowing what to expect since I had a few bad experiences in the past, but I decided to give this place a try. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a nice young lady who asked me for my name and the time of my appointment, then she proceeded to give me a card where I had to write down my name and general information. The place was clean, minimal decor, few curtains here and there, that add a feminine touch to the place. A few minutes later Monica called my name and she asked me to go into this private room, where she instructed me on what to do and said to me "I'll be back in a couple of minutes". She seemed very easy going (this actually helps not to make the experience so awkward). Her tools seemed to be in place and ready to go. She was very professional, made me feel comfortable and I could tell that she knew what she was doing. She was done in about 15 minutes which works for me! I had gone to other establishments and most of the time the person doing the work doesn't speak English or does not know what she is doing, so the experience becomes a torture and again due to the language barrier verbal communication can be a challenge when trying to convey my needs to the person doing the job. Overall it was a great experience. I recommend to set up an appointment ahead of time since it's bikini season and they tend to have more customers than usual. At the end of the session I was given a reminder card with the date of my next appointment. If you never had a Brazilian Wax done before, give this place a try, take deep breaths or chew gum, do whatever works for you... But I do believe this is as good as it gets. :-) read more

I called to make my appointment around 1p was able to get an appointment after work at 6:30p. I followed the recommendations on www.prettykittywax.com. I took a ibuprofen about 1hr before my appointment, more like 2 hours but I arrived approximately 30 minutes early and promptly purchased the numbing gel. It was my first time here and Jasmine was A M A Z I N G. I like the types of wax that they use in this place. I usually come here for brazilian waxes. I've also had my eyebrows waxed and shaped here. Both experiences were great. I don't exactly remember who has done my brazilian waxes, but the majority of them keep the conversation going. The process is quick. I like how clean everything is. The overall atmosphere makes me feel fancy. The only thing I don't like about this place is the price. $55 is a bit too expensive for my taste. If you include tip, it comes out to be around $67. I've been a regular at Pretty Kitty for over a year now and I've been loyal to one particular aesthetician. Last week I went in and saw a new girl, she's not even referenced in any of the yelp reviews. It was a typical Pretty Kitty experience, except I left realizing it is very important who you get. The girl was lovely and nice but I was disappointed with the end results, especially for how much I'm paying to come here ($55 is a lot!) Not going to lie, it was a sloppy job. But I booked my appointment last minute so beggars can't be choosers. I've learned my lesson, plan in advance. I still stand behind this establishment and plan to continue to come here but choosing carefully on who I receive service from. I love this place. The first time I went was after having a horrible experience at another beauty salon, so I was nervous. It turned out I had nothing to be nervous about! I had my services with Tiffany to start...she was and is fabulous. Due to work schedules that didn't work out for me to see her anymore, I now see Shandi. She is absolutely super. She makes sure you feel comfortable and does an amazing job. And for the record, I personally enjoy the "no children" policy. People should be able to come to these places and relax and not feel like they have to babysit other people's children while they get services done. read more

This place is perfect because with bikini waxing, speed is key, & when all you do is wax beaver, you get pretty fast at it. And speed is everything with Brazilians. I've gone here twice now for my waxing & I see Jasmine. She is a super efficient speed demon. She performs her job effortlessly ( seemingly effortlessly ) while I break into a cold sweat from the pain effectively turning her work surface into a slip & slide. She handles you the way expert labor & delivery nurses handle newborns. It looks super rough but the babies don't seem to mind & the job gets done right. I'm a middle aged, soft skinned, dark hair chick of Hungarian ancestry & she finishes a full Brazilian in 15 minutes. That's straight up skill. read more
