Great experience.! The appointment felt very personalized and the way she sends updates via text is extremely helpful. My dog typically gets agitated after a grooming session but this is the first time where we saw him as calm as ever. Highly recommend this groomer!

I love the groomer here. A friend recommended her to me for my mini golden doodle, and I am so happy she did. She will now be arlos forever groomer! I have a 5 month doodle, and this was his first time ever at a groomers, and she recommended a tidy up appt instead of a full grooming so he can get comfortable/familiar to all the tools and sounds. I'm so glad she did recommend that because he was scared, but she gave me real tips and advice on what I can do to help this process! What I loved about my experience was her first priority is making sure the puppy feels comfortable. When I saw arlo, the way she framed his face was the cutest!!! I didn't even show her any pictures, so that was really cool! He really needed that face framing as you can see in the photos. Also all her products are high quality. It was raining every day 2 weeks post our appt, and he still smelled so freaken good, and felt so soft, even though being damp sometimes even wet from the rainy weather. The leave in conditioner last so long, and makes post brushing so much easier and smooth. Already scheduled our next visit. Totally would recommend her and her services!!!!!!!! I also love the fact that I'm supporting a small business.

If you want superb service! You need to see Stephanie (The Pretty Puppy) She truly cares for your fur babies and makes sure they are comfortable and not stressed. I remember dropping off Whiskey for the very first time and she greeting him before she greeted me, a lot of people would think that's rude but for me that was reassurance that Whiskey was as in great hands. She not only cares for your pups well being but also makes them look and smell fantastic. I can't stress enough how talented she is!!! I drive from Orange County because she truly is amazing!

Love love loveeee Stephanie and how friendly she is!! It was my dog's first groom in the west coast and she did an amazing job. We failed to brush his hair so his hair was so tangled and she had to shave it off. She still did amazing with his short hair and I think it's perfect for the summer. If you are looking for a gentle professional approach to grooming, look no further. We have been loyal clients for nearly 3 years. After bouncing around to a different groomer every month we feel very fortunate to have been referred to Stephanie. She is not only knowledgeable when it comes to grooming but her love and patience is what really stands out to us. My baby Pepper is very sensitive when it comes to her skin and the products used during her grooms. Stephanie is always mindful of her sensitivities and is great for product recommendations. About a year ago Pepper became disabled and Stephanie was so patient and understanding with how Pepper needed extra love and care. Pepper wears diapers now and her nails don't get filed much with her not having feeling in her legs. Stephanie makes sure to pay extra attention to these areas so Pepper doesn't get rashes or pain in her paws. We love Stephanie. She is truly amazing!!!!!

I had such a great experience with The Pretty Puppy! I brought in my two poodles, and one of them has pretty high anxiety, so I'm always a little nervous with grooms. But from the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless and welcoming. The team is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. They took the time to make my anxious pup feel comfortable, and that really stood out to me. When I picked them up, both dogs looked absolutely beautiful, more importantly, they were calm and happy. It's not easy finding a groomer you can fully trust, especially with a nervous dog, but The Pretty Puppy consistently delivers a luxury-level experience. My pug was just bathed and beautified at The Pretty Puppy. It was immediately noticed that this is a calm and peaceful place, he was happy and relaxed both coming in and when I came to pick him up. l showed up and he was sooo clean and smelling wonderful. His ears, nails, coat and teeth were sparking clean. He fashioned a lovely Independence Day scarf and looked quite dapper. It was a great experience for us both - and I just scheduled his next appointment for next month. It is so nice to know I leave my baby in caring and capable hands. I absolutely LOVE stephanie!! She's so amazing with my pup and takes her time with her. She can be so naughty but stephanie knows how to be patient yet firm with her to let her know who's boss, all while giving her lots of love and kisses! Also love the environment that she grooms in. Especially you can tell she's here for the pups and not just trying to bust out a million grooms creating a stressful environment. I'd recommend everyone to bring their fur babies to her. I trust her 100%. Grooms are alwaaays ON POINT. But beware her appt spots can go quick sometimes because she's just so dang popular so definitely make that appointment in advance and stay dedicated to your slot! read more

Honestly, I can fully say I trust Stephanie, at the pretty pup 1000000000% I was recommended by a friend, I've never had a puppy with long hair before until I got my baby Delilah. I love Steph and the Pretty Puppy!!!!! She put so much love into making her business. My Hannah has been getting groomed by Steph since her first groom ever when she was a few months old. Hannah will be 13 years old and I don't trust anyone but Steph with her. Hannah loves seeing Steph and makes sure to give her tons and of kisses. Steph treats your baby like they belong to her making you feel relieved while they are with her. My Zeus boy is a sour patch kid but Steph has her way with him. You will be very happy and never want anyone else to groom your baby once you come here. We love you Steph!!! read more

I'm a little bit of an overprotective dog mom and don't trust many people with my dogs but I trust Stephanie 100%! I trust her so much that when I drop my dogs off I don't even ask for anything in particular because I know I'll never be disappointed in whatever "look" she gives them. Love the way that Stephanie grooms! I have been to several groomers before trying to find the perfect groomer for my Australian Labradoodle. After many disastrous grooming appointments and bad haircuts I found Stephanie on Instagram and loved the results. She is so good at what she does, there is a great environment, she loves her job, and I completely trust her with my puppy. Today I brought in my furbaby Popcorn who is almost 1 year old and had never been professionally groomed. When we walked in popcorn was clearly anxious and scared. Stephanie took her leash as I walked out. She sent me texts throughout the process letting me know how Popcorn was doing. When I came back for her she was walking freely and was super comfortable. And she looked amazing!! Stephanie trimmed her up nicely. I am so happy I found a trustworthy groomer for my baby. And the best part is that she's local! It was my fur babies first time getting groomed and an amazing first time at that! I was super picky on who I wanted to groom him because of his fur and he can sometimes be very shy. The pretty puppy was the sweetest to not only my baby but to me too! The haircut was exactly what we had asked for and even cuter. His fur is very soft and smells so good! The Pretty Puppy is a one man show. Though it try to be I cannot guarantee a cage free environment. I’ve been grooming for 15 years and I just love providing a luxury service for pet/pet parents who need it. Unfortunately I do not service new clients over 40 pounds, dogs with flea or tick infestations, dogs currently in heat, or aggressive dogs. In my mini salon your dog will be one of four/five pups taken in and will definitely be catered to like a VIPP (very important pretty puppy.) I do not keep your pups longer than needed. I try very hard to get them back home ASAP. At The Pretty Puppy I do my best to keep a very intimate space where it is relaxing and peaceful for your pup. If your dog could book your hair appointment they’d hire you the best because that’s how dogs love, shouldn’t you do the same? Best way to contact me is via text message. Established in 2008.

I have been grooming since 2008 for a cooperation and decided in 2018 it was time to provide more one on one services to all the beautiful pups I could. Began offering house call grooming at that time and Covid year pushed me to start my own business. Though I’m not a fan of high volume grooming I am a fan of the safety I was taught working in such busy places. Safety and comfort is my priority. I became self employed only to then have tour dog become my boss. On my table if the pups not comfortable we don’t do it!

Four hours for a bath, face trim, and shave-down is excessive. When we picked her up, she was extremely scared, her face was uneven, and she had small razor cuts. She's also scooting her butt and licking that area constantly. My husband's shorts were also covered in loose hairs -- unusual for a non-shedding doodle. Overall, the poor communication, questionable explanations, and low-quality grooming mean we won't be returning.

During his groom, the groomer was negligent with a dangling claw and cut my dog with the clippers. To make matters worse, the staff suggested an emergency vet visit wasn't necessary despite the bleeding. I did not pay for the service, and I am currently at the vet awaiting results. I will be billing the owner for the medical expenses incurred today. I will provide a full update once the exam is complete. Update: The situation is much worse than initially thought. The groomer completely severed his claw, and the injury is so severe that my puppy now has to be sedated for surgery to suture the wound and prevent infection. I want to acknowledge that the owner reached out very quickly via text to express her sincere concern. She handled the situation professionally and immediately reimbursed me for the full cost of the emergency vet visit. While the situation was incredibly stressful, I appreciate her taking accountability and resolving the financial side of things so promptly.
