Loved this grooming place! It's so clean and spacious, and everyone there is incredibly kind. They treated my pup with so much care and patience -- we'll definitely be coming back!

This grooming shop is amazing! My dog usually hates baths, but here he was calm the whole time. The groomers were gentle and professional, and even gave him a little banana after the haircut -- so cute! The prices are fair, and the shop is spotless. It's hard to find people who really care about dogs the way they do. Highly recommend！！！！！

Please be very aware when taking your dog to a new groomer, this was my second time taking my Maltipoo to this location. It was such a traumatic experience that unfortunately caused my dog to loose and eye. They' were negligent and left my dog unattended on a table causing him to fall off strangling with the leash around him until a customer noticed and told one of the groomers. Due to the fact that he was hanging off the table by the leash his eye came out of the socket. We rushed him to the hospital to try and save his eye but after a couple days we realized the surgery was unsuccessful and his eye had to be removed. I just can't get over the fact that I took my healthy fur baby just for a haircut and now he's left with 1 eye for the rest of his life because of someone's negligence.

I have been bringing benny here since i moved back to ontario and i am very glad with their service! My aunt recommended their service after shes been taking our mutual dog Dobby, and i love how my benny comes out with his fresh cuts! Bring your puppies here, they are very professional and welcoming. I have never had any other groomer remember my dogs names, or even mine. They do an amazing job

We have been taking our 2 puppies to Happy Dog Grooming for almost 3 years. I have not taken them anywhere else because I trusted that my girls would be cared for. The people there seem nice, friendly and caring. Unfortunately, I made a terrible mistake taking them there. On December 21, 2024 I had my (Maltese Poodle) Cece, dropped off for a light grooming, specially around her face. I was scared to cut her, so I trusted them. My (Chihuahua) Gigi, also had a grooming day that day. I didn't see my girls until Sunday night that weekend. I saw that my Cece had a huge shaved spot under her left ear, on closer inspection of it, I realized that Cece had been cut. Her skin was red and the cut was unforgivable. I was extremely upset. I still am. I understand that accidents happen, I would have been okay if they had been sincere and told me about it, instead they put a bandana over her neck covering the cut. When I finally got a hold of someone via text (because they didn't answer my calls) the person acted like a veterinarian and tried to excuse themselves instead of owning up to it and truly apologizing. I liked them so much, I would have forgiven the accident. I also noticed that my two girls get very easily frightened, as if they had been physically hurt besides the her cut. I am very saddened that I ever trusted them with my girls, to the point that I will never ever go to another groomer unless I get to stay throughout the entire time. It isn't okay to have hurt the accidentally or otherwise, but trying to hid it was a lot worse. I am attaching pictures of Cece's cut and the text messages I got as a response so you may judge them for yourselves. Please be careful where you take your pets, they deserve the love and respect that is given to them at home.

As an owner of 5 Shihtzu's they constantly need grooming services, well my dogs required not just cuts but styles are really important since my selection of breed is very Foo-Foo I came with my dog for an appointment to determine if this was the place that can style my dogs with my requests such as my two males I always want teddy cut, and my females Japanese Cut, I was super amazed and content with the excellent execution to the styles, cut and service most of all the wow price which in this economy I highly recommend as this business for it cost-effective pricing

I really appreciate that the staff at happy dog grooming is flexible to dogs with different temperaments. My dog is naturally very nervous, I've been to multiple places where they tell me he's a "difficult dog". It's disheartening to hear because my dog (Milo) is a good boy he's just nervous and needs someone to be gentle with him. Here at happy dog grooming, they accommodate him so well!!! I feel comfortable leaving him in the hands of the staff because I know they care about him. As an added bonus, his grooming looks amazing every single time!!! Thank you so much :)

The owner is really nice. he always try his best to fulfill every request I make. Each time, they spend around 2-3 hours, and the cleaning is exceptionally thorough. the fragrance they spray on my dog can last for 3-4 days. I truly love this shop!

I never write reviews this is my first time but it is necessary that I talk about my experience here today. This is my 3rd time taking my puppy to a groomer I normally go to our amazing grooming spot called qutie grooming in chino hills but they were booked and my puppy had major knots that I wanted to get removed as soon as possible. I yelp a few places and this spot seemed ok so I called on Saturday and they took him the next day Sunday. I'm sure every dog is different but I have never been told that he is aggressive or hard to deal with, and every time I take him to the groomers he gets a little nervous but at qutie groomers they right away get him and hug him and make him feel welcomed and safe before they take him back BUT this place was not like that at all!! And I should have trusted my gut right then and there and just taken him home and waited for my groomer to have an opening. As soon as the groomer grabbed my puppy right away he started making excuses about trimming his face so I said if you can't trim his face how I want it it's ok, he grabbed my puppy and took him straight to the back! He didn't even try to make him feel safe or welcomed. 15 min after dropping him off I get a call that they started to shave him but that "my puppy won't let them finish" and that I can either take him somewhere else or come pick him and they won't charge me for what they already did. When I get there this is how they gave me my dog back I wish I got more pictures to really show how terrible they gave him back to me but I right away took him to my groomers and they were appalled that they made time to take him in. I still can not believe this even happened! When I picked him up he was shaking so much I hate to even think what they did to him! It breaks my heart, I really hope what happened to my dog never happens again to any other dog that goes to this place.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! My scruffy little terrier, Max, looks like a show dog now! I can't believe the transformation. The groomer is a true artist - she listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Max can be a handful, but they handled him like a pro and he actually seemed to enjoy himself! The place is spotless and smells great. The price is very reasonable for the exceptional quality of service. Do yourself and your fur-baby a favor - book an appointment here! If I Could Talk, This Is What I'd Say - A Painful Experience They Still Won't Admit Hi, my name is Miso. I've been going to this grooming salon since I was adopted. I was always a little nervous during visits, but I trusted them -- because my humans did. But something went wrong during my last appointment on July 5th. I got hurt. There was a cut near my right ear that my humans didn't see right away, but I felt it. It started small, but the pain grew over the next few days. I didn't understand why it hurt so much. Eventually, it got infected -- and now I need surgery to fix it. When my humans reached out to the salon and spoke to the owner, Grace, they were told the injury must have happened before I arrived. But I know the truth: I walked in fine and walked out with a wound. They also asked if any security footage could be reviewed to help clarify what happened, but were told the footage was no longer available -- even though it had only been a few weeks. That answer was confusing and disappointing. What hurts even more is that no one wanted to take responsibility. No apology. No concern. Just denial. I wish I could tell Grace how scary and painful this has been -- and how much I trusted her and her team. My humans are heartbroken, and so am I. -------- We're not sharing this to place blame, but to raise awareness for other pet parents: always check your furry friends carefully after every grooming visit. We all deserve to be treated with care, kindness, and honesty -- and when something goes wrong, the bare minimum should be accountability. read more

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! Reached out to see if they had any openings next day to take the dog to get a long-over due grooming session. Quick and professional response time, very friendly customer service at the salon, and took care of her very well (see before and after picture). I asked for my puppy to have her shaved. She was shaved. However, The groomer went extreme and shaved her anal area too close where the skin is raw looking. Her face was not trimmed close enough and last her nails were not all trimmed enough. read more

Took my Lab in for grooming and am very very HAPPYYY with the results! The staff are super friendly and attentive. They were very flexible and was able to squeeze my pup in for a same day grooming service. My pup came home excited and non-stop tail wagging, she loved her spa day today. I normally won't write anything negative about a business being a business owner myself but I was so unhappy with my last experience here. They cut my dog and although I understand accidents happen they tried telling me that my dog has a skin condition and claimed she had this wound before taking her in which I'm 100 percent sure she didn't. They sent me the following text: " Hi Yvonne, I understand your concern about Missy's skin condition. We will be sure to carefully clip away any scabs when we groom her." I was a bit confused about the text when I received it because we never discussed anything about her skin nor did I tell them I had a concern about it. Instead of being honest with me and apologizing for cutting her they lied and claimed she came in like that which made me most upset. Regardless I would've been upset but I would've been less if they were honest. I no longer trust this grooming salon and my dog will not be going here anymore. read more

Poor quality grooming. I decided to try this place because of its rating and the location. After examining my dog when I arrived home, I noticed that his nails were not trimmed, and the hair around his butt was not properly trimmed. Perhaps the anal glands were not even cleaned as the guy said was included in the price of the full grooming. The high rating leads me to believe that maybe some dogs get better grooming than others. No worries. Our first visit to this groomer is our last visit to this groomer. read more

They were great with scheduling! Always responsive with texting and always got back to me with answers to my questions. The prices were very reasonable. I have a miniature husky that sheds horribly. They did an AMAZING job de shedding. Staff was also very nice! I defy recommend this place! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I asked for a teddy bear round face hair cut and they did not understand the assignment. My dogs whole body was uneven. They shaved his forehead for some reason and his entire beard and his ears were cut extremely uneven even after I specifically told the groomer not to touch the ears since he initially wanted to shave them down due to some minor Matting that I told him I would brush out. He told me he shaved the beard due to Matts which is untrue, my dog did not have any matting in his beard. The male groomer was extremely condescending when I expressed that I was unhappy with the work done and still wanted to charge me full price. Save your money and go somewhere else. My dog is 11 and I've never been so unhappy with how his haircut came out more than I was today. Look at this picture, does this look like a teddy bear haircut to you? Summary; I took my golden doodle here for a full grooming service. Hair cut: patchy, uneven, not a clean job Ear cleaning- not done Nails not buffed Price: Charged me more than other groomers Refund: No Refund even if the work is pathetic. We've been going to that other "smart" store for over five years to have our dog's nails trimmed…read more Ever since, they've told us that we can just walk in and they will do the trim. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

Four hours for a bath, face trim, and shave-down is excessive. When we picked her up, she was extremely scared, her face was uneven, and she had small razor cuts. She's also scooting her butt and licking that area constantly. My husband's shorts were also covered in loose hairs -- unusual for a non-shedding doodle. Overall, the poor communication, questionable explanations, and low-quality grooming mean we won't be returning.

Mochi is a three-month-old bichon puppy , I chose happy dog grooming for the first bath. When I went to take him away, I couldn't believe it was like a little toy and stayed there quietly and waited for me. It was so cute They also helped me clean up the hair on the soles of my feet.
