There is no comprehensive list of the estimated 1.8 million recipients of the Purple Heart, so part of the Hall of Honor's mission is to collect and preserve this data. The museum chronicles the history of the Purple Heart and towards the back of the center, there is a small theater where you can watch a ten-minute film featuring several veterans telling their stories. Behind the theater, there are kiosks with computers to look up names in the honor roll.

The chicken falls off the bone and smoked perfectly. Candied yams are perfect and you can actually taste the butter that you're SUPPOSED to bake into it, (they're the only ones who make it right) in my opinion. We ordered an appetizer of "burnt bacon ends", and so much flavor, and fall apart with a fork. The cocktails were potent, so beware . Did I say enough about the food? Even the service was great. One of the owners even swung by to see if we needed anything. If you haven't already gone, go. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, and sometimes has live entertainment. You'll love it.

Brisket was very tender and sweet. Very tasty. The pulled pork was moist. The yams were cooked perfectly, nice and soft. It has a very comfy feel with lots of cute decorations. The rooms so comfortable, the outside grounds and view it provides breathtaking. in addition next door is a farm which serves lunch, has a gift shop and you must visit. Each morning at Cromwell House they provide a free breakfast, not just a buffet but order anything from eggs to waffles and pancakes. I especially recommend the blueberry ones(SO GOOD) All in all a great few days there you won't be disappointed.

And when we finally got to the day, DJ Mario was amazing! He did a perfect job of blending me and my husband's music tastes and playing crowd pleasers that got everyone hyped and on the dance floor. He dropped so many bangers during our first dance set that our Best Man turned to us and said "this playlist is TOO good! I can't sit down!" A Perfect Blend Entertainment handled the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, as…read morewell as our DJ booth for our June 24, 2023 wedding.  Mario was our head DJ and he was INCREDIBLE.  We met about 8-10 months out from the wedding to discuss our general vision, at which point we secured his services and gained access to our web portal where we were able to start loading content (song choices for each segment of our event, must pays, do not plays, etc) and get started on the general vibe of the party.  Then as we approached the wedding, we had more contact to select our custom photo booth strips (they make you a scrapbook with everyone's photo strips!! how cute!!) and to solidify choices, get the mixes right, and make sure everything is cohesive.   A Perfect Blend is VERY familiar with our venue (FEAST at Round Hill) so they also provided uplighting and were able to mount speakers in the entire venue, making it a fully rounded experience. I'd fully recommend this service if you're looking for a wedding or event DJ - they asked questions we wouldn't have thought of (age group of our guests - suggested where to do the cake cutting to make sure the dance floor didn't empty out, etc), which made our lives easier during this hectic time. 10/10 for sure!!!

Even with our high expectations we were still very impressed. It's a 500+ acre museum where most of the works are monumental and/or site-specific sculptures. The $25 admission is a great deal for so much amazing art, and the equally amazing grounds. We spent 6+ hours here but didn't get to see everything. We were also just on foot, but they do have trams and bike rentals. The weather was gorgeous on the day of our visit and we were having a ball wending our way around leafy trails and expansive emerald meadows, all interspersed with works of art. There was also a re-creation of a Norman chateau that served as an indoor museum and gift shop. Their cafe was excellent; I got the French onion burger with veggie patty (mushroom-based, great flavor, with melted Gruyere) and an iced cold brew, and the hubby got a grilled cheese, which was also good.
