NC Beef and Seafood is what it says: fresh locally-raised beef plus quality seafood. It's located…read moreout in Newberry, with the cattle I believe being raised very nearby. The space, being in a new building, is clean, inviting, and still has a faint fresh paint smell even. The beef I got was excellent and both my grandfathers were beef ranchers so I know a thing or two about quality beef. The fish dip and potato salad I got--they have some ready-to-go sides like this--were also excellent. So the only reason I subtracted a star from an otherwise five-star experience was the lady working there. Now, she was perfectly friendly and nice, but she didn't know what a Kansas City strip was when I asked about one. She would only say "I'm from Miami and I've never had beef so good as what we have here" which fair enough for her honesty, but her knowledge of the product was not the caliber I expected for an outfit like this one. Still, there is no better beef for sale in the entire region unless you personally know a rancher. Beyond their fish dip I've not tried their seafood but looked good though less variety than Northwest Seafood has on hand. For a beef butcher, most certainly recommend.

We were looking for a quick lunch spot and found this deli on yelp. I didn't read the reviews so I…read moredidn't know it was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. I ordered a veal spare rib meal with salad from the specials menu, my wife ordered the salmon sandwich. Both meals were fantastic and everything was very fresh. I would consider it to revile far fancier restaurants in terms of quality and presentation. If you are looking for a great place and don't mind sitting outside on a patio and busing your own table this is for you!

Finally tried this awesome spot located in the 4th Ave Food Park! I had heard so much about this…read moreplace and it was even featured on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives". Their menu consists of some staple sandwiches, wraps, sausage dogs, and salads, along with daily specials. They also have a meat counter where you can buy a variety of very unique flavored/seasoned meats that are all made in house. The shop isn't super big and there is limited indoor seating. Although the food park offers plenty of coveted outdoor seating options. Service was great and pretty quick. The guy who took my order was helpful in answering my questions too. Everything is made fresh to order with higher quality ingredients. This is very evident in the taste of the sandwiches, they are truly next level! I ended up ordering a Muffuletta sandwich and a walking taco. Both of these were on the daily special menu. The muffuletta was loaded with ham, salami, mortadella, Swiss cheese, provolone, olives, Dijon aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion on ciabatta. This sandwich was huge! The meat was super flavorful and you could really taste each one of them in each bite. I loved the ciabatta, especially because it wasn't too thick and didn't take away from the sandwich. The cheeses were mild melted perfectly on the sandwich. The fresh tomato's, lettuce, and onion complimented the other components nicely as well. I will say I wish the olives and aioli had been more prominent, as this is what truly makes a muffuletta of muffuletta. So I wouldn't really classify this as a traditional muffuletta sandwich and it reminded me more of an Italian sandwich. The walking taco included Fritos, chilli, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and house-made ranch. I thought these were decent. This wasn't the most impressive thing, but it was still tasty. I wish there had been more meat in the chilli and the cheese was melted on top of the Fritos. The onions were simply chopped red onions and seemed too strong for the dish. While this was good, it isn't something I'd go out of the way to order. I would probably stick to the sandwiches and such as that is what truly shines here! Overall, I was more than impressed with this place. I love that it is located in the food park too! Ordering is easy and the service is welcoming. They offer a nice variety of deli options and there is something for everyone. You can taste the difference in the food here compared to other places. They use high quality ingredients and put a lot of passion into their work. I also love that they have fun switching up parts of the menu daily with unique options. While my muffuletta reminded me more of an Italian sando, it was still one of the best sandwiches I've had in the area by far. The sandwich was absolutely packed with meat and made the price completely justifiable. The bread was really fresh and not too thick, which I really appreciated. The walking taco was decent, but nothing to ride home about. If you are in the area and want a good sandwich, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by.

Arepa Milko: The Venezuelan Food Truck Turned Restaurant You Need to Try…read more If you haven't been to Arepa Milko yet: it's authentic Venezuelan dishes, delicious food and a spot that's grown from humble food truck beginnings into a legit foodie destination. Here's why this place is an absolute must-visit: Start with Tequeños (Trust Me) Begin your meal with an appetizer--yes, fried. Tequeños. Or as I like to call them: TequeñYES! These traditional Venezuelan cheese sticks had a golden crunch and released a mouthwatering aroma that hinted at the cheesy goodness inside. And that vibrant green sauce? Game over ranch. It's tangy, addictive, and honestly deserves a spot next to ranch in the sauce hall of fame. Bold claim, I know -- but it's that good. Sandwiches That'll Ruin You (In the Best Way) I tried Milko's Pulled Chicken Sandwich. That crispy fried cheese acted like food glue, holding together all the Venezuelan magic inside. The pulled chicken was juicy and flavorful, blending into every unforgettable bite. I also had the Patacón Tostón Sandwich with Pernil (slow-roasted pork). This is not your average sandwich -- it's a specialty you won't find just anywhere. The crispy green plantain "buns" were absolute perfection: crunchy on the outside, yet tender enough to hold all the layers together without falling apart. The layering? Impeccable. The juicy, seasoned pork stole the spotlight without overpowering the plantains. Every bite was an explosion of textures and bold flavors -- the kind of messy, glorious meal. Oh, and the portions? Generous doesn't even begin to cover it. Save Room for Dessert (Seriously) I even got to meet the owner, who was incredibly kind and recommended the Nutella-filled Tequeños for dessert. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Absolute perfection. Warm, gooey Nutella wrapped in that crispy tequeño shell? It's everything you never knew you needed. If you've never tried a sweet twist on this iconic Venezuelan snack, consider this your official sign. Zero regrets. Zero crumbs left behind. The Vibe at Arepa Milko blends casual comfort and self-service. The original food truck still proudly stands outside, keeping the story alive. But step inside, and you'll find indoor seating, air conditioning, and an upgraded space perfect for enjoying every bite without battling the Florida heat. Final Verdict If you're looking to experience authentic Venezuelan flavors and discover rare gems like the Patacón, Arepa Milko needs to be on your foodie bucket list. From street food roots to full-on restaurant glow-up, they've earned their spot in North Florida's food hall of fame. Come hungry. Leave obsessed. #NewberryEats #VenezuelanFood #ArepaMilko #FoodieAdventures #TequeñoLove #CrunchGoals #NorthFLEats

The guy at the counter seemed flustered ,was on phone. Then first sign was no cauliflower bites, which wife was looking forward to. They have a Happy Hour from 4-6 items that arent on their posted menu so look at the small sign posted on the tables.. also they posted up a sign in the front of their restaurant on the sidewalk after we entered with a bunch of other menu items that are on their regular menu. As far as our food goes, burger was average the chicken sliders, wete very dry, wife, had to use some of my mayonnaise from my burger, there there was no ranch to be found on there. Both the cajun, sweet potato fries and my waffle fries with my burger. Seemed like they had been cooked too long. And on their menu online , on their website they had soup listed, wife asked about the soup, they said they had none today. I was really looking forward to this restaurant due to all of the reviews on Facebook. I left there feeling let down , i really hope this restaurant improves, being in a small town., small business
