I came here for the first time with my gf. It was great. The customer service was amazing. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and nice. They had lots of great nutritional information on all their items. Which was great. The place was spacious and very well decorated for the holidays. Mix of seating options. Along with some different board game options as well. We ordered açaí, strawberry and bananas bowls, plus shared a protein waffle plate. Then because we were new customers we also got a free cinnamon protein donut. The açaí bowls and waffle were great. Really yummy and full of flavor in every bite. Love this place. Ambiance is quite cute and relaxing, the customer service was great, and the food delicious. When I said I was looking for something that could be consumed in about two hours post workout, the woman at the counter gave me quite a few suggestions on what the best meal for me could be. She also threw in a protein donut when I said it was my first time, as it was getting near closing and she said they had lots of donuts left that day. Guess what? The meal she suggested--a chocolate protein bowl base with banana, peanut butter, whipped cream and chocolate chips--was absolutely delicious post workout. The donut was great for breakfast the next day. Went back and brought a friend, and this time I met the owner. She was friendly and warm, too. It was nice talking about growing to fit the needs of the community, as the food here is gluten free and diabetic friendly. I wish I lived near this shop, I'd be here every week! This shop offers post workout and meal replacement protein shakes. They also have protein waffles and bowls tailored to what your taste buds are craving that visit. Also, if you need a pick me up they have coffee, tea and refreshers too! They also have protein donuts! I ordered chocolate PB and banana my friend ordered chubby hubby. Man o man! So much flavor and it wasn't heavy at all. One of the most awesome things about this establishment (besides the customer service) is that they are diabetic and gluten free friendly. I love that The Protein Place offers alternatives to your typical dessert shop. They have options I feel good about eating and feeding my family. I'm hooked on their Hulk shake. But try everything! The protein bowls with fresh fruit, the waffle is sooo good and I'm looking forward to trying the teas soon. This place is hidden in a small shopping center but I'm glad it's tucked away or else the line would be down the street! It's a small spot with a few seats, tables, couches. A great little place to hangout and play games with the kids while you wait for your order. I love that they send you a gift card via Instagram when you follow them. Plus they have a rewards program. After the second order, we drove back home and tried our bowls and not the greatest. Just tastes so fake, the ingredients are just too sweet and the protein powder overpowers everything.
