I've been coming to this Mochinut location for at least three years now, and they've never disappointed me. The mochi donuts are definitely on the pricier side, but the taste and quality absolutely justify it. These aren't something I could ever recreate at home, so I don't mind treating myself here when I can. Sometimes regular donuts just can't compare. I do wish they were a bit cheaper -- but I understand why they're priced the way they are. One thing I really like is that they rotate flavors regularly. You might not see the same selection every visit, but there's always enough variety that you're bound to find something you'll enjoy. They also occasionally offer discounts and have a rewards program you can sign up for, which helps bring the price down after you build up points -- definitely worth it if you're a repeat customer. Beyond the donuts, they also serve Korean corn dogs and a fun drink selection. My husband is a big fan of their Baja Blast lemonade because it's perfectly sour, and I've tried several of their other drinks that were also really good, including their milk tea and spring drinks. For the corn dogs, there are lots of topping options, but the Hot Cheeto one is my personal favorite. The shop itself is small and quaint, so there isn't much seating -- just a few spots by the windowpane -- so I usually grab my donuts to go. It works perfectly as a quick treat stop rather than a dine-in place. Customer service here has always been friendly and consistent. The staff is patient, accurate with orders, and helpful when you have questions. I never feel rushed or pressured while ordering. Parking is also easy since it's in the same lot as KP Market, with plenty of spaces -- so again, it's a perfect dessert stop, especially after grocery shopping. 85°C Bakery is also right next door but they tend to be busy which deters me from visiting -- it's more peaceful for me to stop by Mochinut where customers just stop by, pick up their donuts and go instead of mingling around. i was in the area running errands and had a random matcha craving, so i decided to stop by. it's located in a shopping center, so parking was easy, and it wasn't too busy when i went on an early sunday afternoon. the place itself is decorated cute, there's a flower wall that's a good photo op. there's also crane machines to kill some time. ordering was through a self-service kiosk, and our drinks and food came out pretty quickly, about 10 to 15 minutes. they also added my special request, which was very nice of them to accommodate. they offer milk teas, coffees, matcha drinks, smoothies, plus snacks like korean corndogs and mochi donuts. we got the strawberry foam matcha, a hot cheeto korean corndog with hot dog inside, and a dubai chocolate mochi donut. strawberry foam matcha: 7/10 the strawberry cold foam was sweet and flavorful, which i liked. the matcha itself was on the lighter side, not super strong, but still enjoyable if you prefer something more mellow. hot cheeto korean corndog: 4/10 this one was a bit disappointing. i was expecting more of that tangy hot cheeto flavor, but it didn't really come through, and felt a little stale. dubai chocolate mochi donut: 8.5/10 this was actually really good! soft, chewy texture and they did a great job capturing that rich dubai chocolate flavor. overall, a solid spot if you're looking for boba and snacks in the area. i'd come back for the drinks and mochi donuts, but will probably have to try the corndog with mozzarella next time. read more

right next to KP market which was convenient for us, we stopped in for a cold snack since it was so hot outside. I think maybe the ac was broken? It was also hot inside as well but at least they had some fans. they do have some seatings but it was a little crowded for the party of 4 we had. We ordered the mango and strawberry bingsu. Compared to other bingsus I've had it was a little below standard fare and very sweet. The popping boba added to that. But it was a nice treat for a hot day. read more

I was craving the donuts so I went in. As I was walking in, a CHILD was alone in the front, behind the counter, touching the donuts. The door to the back was open halfway and I can see a male employee sitting on the floor, on his phone. There's a bell noise when I walked in. I'm not sure why he didn't even flinch when he heard it. I asked the kid to go get the worker. When the worker came to the front, I told him that the child was touching the donuts and his response was to tell the child not to do it again. Plenty of parking. Staff is nice and helpful. There's very minimal seating and a very small wait space that's taken up by claw machines (which we attempted and failed). They have a little change machine for tokens for the claw machine, but no cash change. You'd have to ask the cashier for change. Each grab is $1. We tried several machines and the claws were too weak to bring up the plushies even after you've clearly grabbed the prize. Eventually we gave up. The mochi donuts were not bad. Good amount of crispiness on the outside and it's chewy and fluffy on the inside. The mochi ball was edible. Nothing I would get again. It was basically powered sugar on a piece of round bread. The Tang Hulu was too warm. The honey was perfectly hardened, which I did enjoy, but I didn't enjoy the warm grapes. The Mango Green Tea with Boba tasted too syrupy in my opinion. The food was basic and flavorless. The popcorn chicken didn't even taste like chicken and was made of a really thick tasteless dough fried until hard not crispy. It had a light sprinkling of some weird yellow stuff but not enough to have any flavor. Tasted a bit like curried cardboard. I asked about the basil fried basil shown in the picture and they said that some tiny little bits of green stuff in the dough are supposedly the fried basil. Again, no flavor. They got my daughters first Kdog order wrong because details like sides were not communicated so paid for something that probably won't get eaten. I've been to more boba and mochi donut places that I can count, and Mochinut is definitely one of my favorites! I originally wanted a taro milk tea but they didn't have that. The employee, who was really friendly, asked if the ube milk tea would be okay instead. I mentioned that I've had a taro ube milk tea before and it was too thick for me. She said she could add more milk for me instead. The drink she made for me turned out delicious! I also got the black sesame mochi donut which was great as well. Tasted similar to a sesame ball. Most other mochi donut places don't offer the black sesame flavor, so I was happy to see that Mochinut did. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors of donuts too. 5/5 The parking is huge but man I must say parking sucks when you get there late because you will have to park 3-4 rows away from the store. It's jam packed with so many amazing dining places so brace yourself. Still amazing parking space just too many consumers. 5/5 super friendly worker which makes the ambiance relaxing when you walk in. 3.5 for the mochi. Came in with my sister on a Saturday and there we were the only ones there, right off the bat was ignored and it took over five minutes for them to come out and finally take our order and barely even greeted us. I truly loveeeeee this place! The service is always great, and the staff is so friendly! All the sweet treats, plus the constant addition of new menu items, make me excited to keep coming back to try them all! The new tables and chairs also make it much more comfortable to sit and enjoy everything they offer. BUT once the weather warms up outside, it gets really hot inside the store. The fans help a little, but sitting by the windows trying to enjoy a sweet treat can get super uncomfortable and honestly makes the experience less enjoyable. The heat can actually make me feel a little sick after being in there for a while, and I can't imagine having to work an entire shift in that type of environment. Before finalizing my plans to get the mochi donut I was going back and forth on whether or not I should make a mad and ridiculous drive to Krispy Kreme in Vacaville. But this decision was the best one I could've made on a Friday night while grabbing a Thai tea next door. The batter is really light and crispy, with a hint of sweetness of batter. I really like the hot Cheetos one although it doesn't taste as spicy as the chip itself. Maybe because of the mozzarella in the bite. Hubby said elote was just okay and wished the half cheddar was available. Took a bite of kids Doritos and it was good. The wait was about 10 minutes long. Definitely best only when eaten fresh upon receiving because the cheese can solidify quickly. Interior was cozy, nice and cute. Unprofessional service... We came in and ordered a bunch of donuts for our child's school the day before and for them to be ready at 8 AM the next day. I asked what time do you open? Will our order be ready at 8AM? Yes... Yes...Yes... we will have everything ready. Next day, we come in at 8 and nothing is ready, there isn't even anything on the counters either. Had to wait about 30 more minutes. Our kid ruined their perfect attendance record... oh well... When the order was late, by like 10 min, I asked the guy how long do you think it will take, thinking I can drop off our kid at school and come back... he said 5 min.... 5 min turned into 30 min... People have plans and that's why pre-arrangements are made... and they should be followed through. To be fair, the guy gave us a few extra donuts but still a major disappointment. Mochinut is the place to go for mochi donuts, tea drinks, and Kdogs. The shop is in a popular shopping plaza minutes off Highway 50, Zinfandel Drive exit in Ranch Cordova. I dropped by on a weekday late afternoon, it was busy. The line wrapped past the front door. But it moved quickly. The cashier was friendly and moved efficiently without rushing folks. The shop even had a self ordering keypad that is on wall near the door. Ad I stepped in the shop, thd very first thing I noticed was the ceiling to floor faux flower wall display. It was quite eye catching and pretty. The flowers were in shades of pink and white. In the center was a neon donut sign that flashed different colors. Very cool. Onto the food... the donuts were all gorgeous and yummy looking sitting behind the glass. They were not marked with prices though. Only as I got right up to the cashier was I able to see the menu on the wall which was at a 45 degree-ish angle. The menu font size was on the smaller size. Then I noticed the other offerings... multitude of milk tea drinks and Korean Corn Dogs (KDogs). I got mochi donuts: strawberry, churro, and chocolate funnel. After seeing a KDog that another customer purchased, I went back in line to buy a Dorito one. It was my first ever KDog. The mochi donuts was for the Hubs, he luvs donuts and enjoys the mochi versions. He gobbled these up. The KDog I ordered was all meat. This location is right next to the KP Market, which is a plus, because after, or before going grocery shopping, you can stop by for a Mochinut Donut! It was my first time here, so I didn't quite know where to start. The person working the front was very helpful and let me know of the different items they carry. Now, on to the fun stuff, I chose 3 Mochi Donuts. I went with the Lychee Donut, a Mochi Ball with Strawberry Creme and a Mochi Ball with UBE Creme. I've had Mochi donuts before, but never a Lychee flavor one. I was glad that the Mochi Donut was Lychee flavor as it was very flavorful and very fresh. Mochinut nailed the flavor and texture of they Lychee donut. My kids each got their own Mochi Ball. At first, we all thought the Mochi hall would be filled with the specific creme flavor chosen. Instead, the creme was separated, so it was like a dip. Which honestly, the kids enjoyed more haha. The flavor of the creme was spot on, and not too sweet. And the Mochi ball was very good. Omg I came to this location because I saw mochi balls and their new tornado drinks. They did not disappoint!! The other locations don't have these options. I tried the ube and strawberry mochi balls which came in a 6 pack for $14.99. If you love sweets and filled donuts, i def recommend! The ube Oreo tornado was perfect on a hot day. It's a creamy blended slush with cream and Oreo crumbs around the cup. It was $7.25 without boba. I think it's a little pricey for these items but I'm honestly going to come back to get more haha. Decided to treat my family to something different and popped into this establishment for the first time. First impressions - it was clean and smelled pleasant. I snapped a photo of the entry (super cute) as I waited my turn in line. The line moved quickly, although there was only 1 employee working. All the donuts looked tasty, so I ordered a box of 6 ($17.99). This allowed for trying almost all the flavors, except for 1. A single donut costs $3.75, FYI. My family was delighted to try a new dessert. Our favorites were the triple chocolate and the churro.
