My kids were so excited and loved eating strawberries right from the field. You were able to snack on strawberries in the field while you picked. You had about 15-20 min to pick and the fields are huge! We had so much fun walking through and choosing our own berries. I appreciate how knowledgeable the guide was since I do have my own garden at home and he gave me some great advice when I make the attempt to grow strawberries again. The lavender and flower fields are beautiful and we loved the options we were able to select what we wanted. The barn was so fun to go through, and my husband purchased feed cups and we had so much fun. Some of the animals are a little pushy, but no surprises. They were all so cute and nice to pet as well. Today I took my friends and nieces to pick strawberries. I made an online reservation for…read morestrawberry picking, and before check out, the system showed a message asking if we wanted to add blackberry picking for an additional $7.50. Since my friends and I wanted to have the experience of picking blackberries as well, we each paid the extra $7.50. However, when we arrived at the farm, the staff member was very rude and told us there were no blackberries available for picking. Instead, they gave us two boxes to pick more strawberries instead of blackberries. My group felt very disappointed about what happened today, and we wonder why the farm would still offer blackberry picking in the online booking system and charge extra for it when they were not prepared to provide it. But that's okay -- my family will not be returning to this farm again.
