The girls (2 1/2) absolutely loved this place. It also gives the parents a chance to sit and rest while watching the kids play on a pseudo playground. + no line to get in + shaded + ample seating (benches) for the tired adult + fenced in, so the kids are relatively sheltered + has a small slide, a couple crawl-throughs and space to run and play - not everyone watches their kids - it does have a tendency to get VERY crowded

The decor is very well done, but this attraction is best suited for younger children. My 9 year old was a little old for this one. The house is neat to explore but very small and a quick walk through. As you exit the house you are in goofy's back yard where they have a small play area for young kiddos to play and climb. We heard that Goofy is usually at his house signing autographs, but he wasn't around when we visited.

Goofy's Playhouse is a fun place for kids and big kids to play. I like how imaginative and fun it is. For parents this is a nice place to rest while the kids play. For big kids like me without kids I'll do the playing, thank you very much. :P Goofy's Playhouse is definitely work checking out when you're in Toon Town.

It's not that I never wanted to visit the other parks, it was more the circumstances never found me in a position to go. That all changed during my most recent trip to California; I was staying in Orange County with Disneyland Resort a short drive away. That being said, I made plans to visit during one of my days out there. DLR is made up of two parks, a couple of hotels, and the Downtown Disney area, however this review is specifically for the DL park so that will be the main focus. DL opened in 1955 and is the only Disney Park designed and constructed under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. By comparison, DL is most similar to the Magic Kingdom in WDW - so much that they sometimes call DL "the original Magic Kingdom". The park layout is almost like a wheel, with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the center and several themed lands arranged like wedges around it. Each land has attractions, shops, and eateries that match the aesthetic. While there are an abundance of similarities to MK, DL holds its own in terms of uniqueness. There's a different princess castle as the icon, the restaurants are different, there are a few rides that are only found here, and some of the overlapping rides are found in other WDW parks (ie, not MK). You definitely get immersed in the Disney Magic while there - it's hard to describe the feeling, probably best to just say they call it the Happiest Place on Earth for a reason! Even though some of the rides can use a tune-up, it kinda adds to the charm. While DL is definitely a 5-star experience from my perspective, I personally would only return if it was part of a greater itinerary. If I lived in the Western US I might feel different, but I wouldn't fly out from the East Coast just to visit; DLR is not big enough to warrant a dedicated trip. That being said, if I *did* live local I would come frequently and likely be an Annual Passholder. Overall, I had a great time at Disneyland - it was a truly magical experience.

While I had not heard too much about it, I dedicated my whole day to exploring DLR and wanted to make the most of it. That being said, I purchased a Park Hopper ticket and made my way over after spending the first have the day in DL. Opened in 2001, DCA was not an immediate hit at its debut. In fact, it took a major facelift in order to start gaining some traction in terms of park attendance. The park is Disney's interpretation of California, separated into different lands based on regional areas of the state or by Disney IP. Some of the strongest areas IMO are San Fransokyo Square, paying homage to the Asian heritage in SF, and Pixar Pier which is a huge area combining Disney-Pixar theming with vintage California coastal vibes. While I feel this is the more adult park when comparing it to DL, there is a lot for kids to do here as well. There's a also a strong selection of attractions, and the shopping and dining are also decent. I took a spin on the parks icon - the Pixar Pal-a-Round, which provided awesome views of the park and greater Anaheim area. If comparing DCA to DL, it's my opinion the former is the stronger park - the theming and types of attractions speak to me more. Overall, I thought DCA was great - it's definitely an enhancement DLR as a whole, and I would no doubt return next time I plan a visit here.

They don't care at all about the condition you are in and don't offer any suggestions to keep you comfortable if you're sick. Also our room wasn't even ready after 4pm. Worst check in experience ever. Loud noise all through the night of kids screaming and running around. There was also a gas leak event that happened in Garden Grove that they didn't even alert us all about. Absolute negligence for the customer. Will NOT return and caution everyone who is looking to stay here, that they don't value the customer.

They were so excited to ride the Skyrider, it's a zip line across partial of the park. I highly definitely recommend this indoor playground. It's probably the best one in OC. We've gone to a lot the past years. This place has so much for your kids to do. Met the manager Terry and Sally. They are both amazing and friendly. Always there to answer your questions and needs. Our school Mabel Paine had a day of fundraising here also. UA loves to support and gives back to the community. Love a friendly oriented company. What's awesome is they now have a security here that I love since it's open. Security really nice. The indoor playground is pretty clean and well taken care of. Love the mascot Urbie. He's also cool with the kids. We are regulars here and definitely plan to return. They have great yearly membership at a great value. Must check it out!

The free games were the blue tap games, so you don't earn tickets, but there were still a ton of fun options. We didn't even come close to using the full 3 hours because there was so much to do. My favorites were the basketball games and Connect 4 basketball. We played a few rounds of laser tag, which was super fun, but a lot of the equipment seemed broken that day. They also couldn't split us into teams, so everyone was playing individually instead. The go-karts were really fun for a group we got a whole round to just our coworkers. Some of the karts definitely felt faster than others, which made things interesting. We also did mini golf, and the course was much bigger than I expected. It took quite a while to get through all the holes. One thing to note is that the rides don't always have staff standing by them. If you want to ride something, you may have to find an employee and ask them to operate it. Overall, there was honestly more to do than we could fit into the 3 hours. We didn't even get to everything we wanted to try. Despite a few operational issues, we had a really fun time and felt like the event package offered a lot of value.

This was a good value compared to regular prices. Enjoyed the go carts twice; attendants were very patient with customers and trouble makers. Cart track is super fun, carts ran well, fun competition! Bumper boats were closed; perhaps weather isn't warm enough yet or demand was low. Two fountain sodas at the snack bar were $13. Pretty outrageous. Tried to use the batting cages. Our unlimited pass didn't seem to apply however, which was disappointing, as our key cards were unable to activate the cages in two different lanes. We moved on to mini golf. Well lit and good music is the best I can say. Overall I can tell the courses have been improving from a maintenance standpoint but the greens are TERRIBLE. If you have to putt over broken turf or your ball gets stuck in a pit of death that used to be part of the brick border, it disrupts the fun and becomes frustrating. Seriously, Boomers. Put some of that ridiculous soda pop revenue into fixing your miserable astroturf. There were tears and holes everywhere. The arcade gets periodically updated but we didn't use it this time due to time constraints. Always had fun on the multitude of games available. Same with laser tag, we just ran out of time. Was not crazy about the process for golf putters and bats for the batting cages. There only seemed to be one person in charge of handing these out from the desk and they were stuck handling a long ticket line so we pretty much helped ourselves by reaching over the counter and grabbing what we needed.

It's always clean, there are many decent fast meal options, and it feels relaxing under the palm trees on springy days. Inside, you have so many options to game--from Mario Brothers to Space Invaders. You can fall down a video game rabbit hole here. Also, the bumper cars are lit up and Lazer Tag is calling all players. There's a cafeteria-style "common hall" serving up pizza, nachos, hot dogs, fries, and bevvies. Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game. Mulligans and astro turf hiccups are par for this course. Want to practice random kindness? If you see a bottle on the ground, feel free to recycle in the receptacle placed by the tee box. It's nice that they thought to have as many receptacles as they did. It really helps keep the place tidy. The staff is young & laid back yet attentive. One clean sweep across all 4 courses at the opening of each AM shift, however, could help keep it 100% litter-free. See, I warned you--I had nothing but good things to say about Camelot Golfland.
