    Shrimp Po Boy
    Deljere H.

I went with my extended family For my cousins birthday. We had a great time because it was an adventure for us. We traveled from Kokomo to Green Castle. The staff were very welcoming. Honesty because we are African American We were a little unsure because some towns in Indiana can be unwelcoming and uncomfortable in 2025. The food was good. I ordered the Shrimp Poboy and it was very delicious. My favorite part was the sauce and the little piece of this thick and crispy bacon. I have never had bacon on a PoBoy, it definitely made a delicious addition to it. I would definitely order this again.

They have a huge impressive buffet. A really nice salad bar. They even have hot bacon dressing as an option with different types of lettuce. There are several comfort foods also fried chicken, noodles, mashed potatoes and many sides. Oh and the desserts there are so many to choose from . Come here hungry for a really good meal.

    Fresh salad for a starter.

Good American food buffet which is getting harder to find these days. Usually go Thursday nights. Always start with a nice little salad. Love the ranch dressing here. They have BBQ ribs, pulled pork, and brisket on this night, which I usually get some of. Fried chicken, fried fish and chicken noodles good too. I like their slider cheeseburgers as well. Large selection of hot veggies including mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, mixed veg, tomatoes & zucchini, mac & cheese, corn pudding, and several others that rotate around. Good desserts including sugar cream pie, cakes, and homemade cookies, however I'm usually full by then. Soft serve is excellent with toppings. Service has always been good too.

This place had great food and friendly staff. The meal was fresh and there was plenty.

Been wanting to go here for a while. Glad I finally made it. The food was very good. I especially liked the fried chicken and the fish. They had a good selection on the buffet. There was plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly. If you live any where close I would recommend a visit. I think this is a place most people would enjoy. I know I will be back.

Went on steak and crab leg night and the food was fresh and delicious. We were impressed with how often they replenished the crab legs! The tray never went empty. Service was friendly as well.

What's left of my crab legs!

I was a little leery about trying the seafood buffet that they have on Friday and Saturday nights . Most of the crab legs we have tried in Indiana have been lackluster to say the least. When I say this place blew us away, I am not kidding! It is a local restaurant in Greencastle. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. There is plenty of room in the restaurant and it is clean. The staff is friendly and kept checking with us and refilling drinks and clearing plates. We did the Saturday night buffet. Even though it is a seafood buffet, there is a lot of things to choose from. The fried chicken is very good. There is a good salad bar. They have corn casserole, frog legs, ham, fish, popcorn shrimp, ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a lot more along with soups and they even have several desserts to choose from. All of it was very good and worth the 45 minute drive. It's a good thing we don't live close because I ate way too much! When we are craving comfort food and really want crab legs, we know where to go!

We planned to make an afternoon of it since it's an hour drive to Greencastle from Indy and stopped in at Lost Hollow for some beers before stopping in at a local antique shop and then heading home. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure if they have a parking lot or not because we parked on the street. We were seated right away and our server was very sweet. It was very empty inside, just one other person sitting at the bar. Later on, a few more tables filled up with people coming in for lunch. My first beer was the Duke Lager and my husband got the Little Jeff Hefeweizen. We both really enjoyed them! Crisp and cold and refreshing. Their food menu looked really good too, but we had just eaten before coming in, so I would love to come back with friends for lunch or dinner and some beers. I ended up ordering a 2nd beer, the canned pumpkin imperial ale, and it was very rich and delicious. My husband thought it was a little too sweet, but I love pumpkin ales and loved it. The inside is spacious with lots of plants in the windows and a big stage, so I'm sure they get busy when there is live music. The bathrooms were big and very clean. They have a bid deck out front with comfortable looking patio furniture. We honestly would have sat outside even though it was a little bit chilly if it hadn't been raining. Highly recommend driving to Greencastle and supporting some of their local businesses before or after enjoying some delicious beers.

Food was really, really good. Everyone seemed happy. I'm personally not interested in alcoholic beverages, but the report back from others was they had some really good tasting brews. The fries were the best ever. Make sure to get them with whatever you order. Others in my group had burgers. I opted for the loaded fries with pork, slaw, and other ingredients. It was a HUGE serving and difficult to finish. But it was so good that I had to do it all. Bread pudding is a good one also. Give Lost Hollow a try. It's nice.

It wasn't clear what their hours were: the website said they were open until 4pm, while the hours posted Google and on the door said 2pm, and here on Yelp it says 3pm. They also had a paper sign taped to the door saying they would close that day at 1pm. Fortunately we made it there a half hour before closing, but it would probably be a good idea for them to sort that out across the various platforms. I ordered a latte with praline syrup which was nice (the cups and lids were kind of the best I've seen at a coffee shop, which is random, but worth mentioning) as well as a bagel and a donut. The donut was a chocolate long john and I asked the person taking my order if they were filled or unfilled. They said unfilled, which is what I wanted, but when I got back to my car, it was filled. My husband went in to place his own order, so he purchased another normal chocolate frosted donut and it was fine, but I would have been bummed if I had been on my own and gotten the wrong thing. My bagel was good and my husband enjoyed the coffee and pastry he ordered, plus my reject donut. ;) Looks like it'd be a nice place to stay and enjoy a meal or do some work, as there was a whole separate sitting area upstairs.

Anyway, walked into the cutest shop with wonderful employees ready to serve. Ordered a wonderful tasting espresso to go and a couple of donuts for the road back home. Tried the sprinkle birthday cake donut and a regular yeast donut. There were many options for bread choices and saw a large open space upstairs as well as a good amount of seating downstairs. Appears you can watch the bakery working while sitting as well, which is a nice add to any cafe/coffeeshop. PROS: Space is large and inviting Friendly staff Easy parking across the street or on the street Cake donut was great, needs a few more sprinkles but great Coffee taste was great, had a double espresso so definitely tasted the coffee Breakfast sandwiches were on the menu, did not try, but great option CONS: Yeast donut- depends on what you like. It is a thicker yeast donut not the light and fluffy I can eat 10 at a sitting type of yeast, but the taste was good HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING INTO THIS ONE STOP SHOP!

Located almost directly off the registration desk for The Inn,the 2 West Bistro offers a $9.95 breakfast buffet that includes hot/cold items along with an "action station" for ready-to-make items such as pancakes, waffles and more. I ordered the buffet along with my usual unsweetened iced tea. At the time I arrived, the restaurant only had a few customers. Unlike my experience at The Fluttering Duck, service at 2 West was spot-on throughout my meal. My server was friendly, attentive, accommodating and offered me an iced tea to go in addition to my couple of refills while dining. The food ranged from decent to very good - the made-to-order waffle was the weak spot for me. It was bland and tasted like your standard issue frozen waffle. On the other hand, the buffet items included your standard breakfast items but they were tasty and I'd go back for them alone. My favorite? Probably the roasted potatoes. I also enjoyed bacon, sausage, a roll and other items. The 2 West accessibility is strong with an open concept dining area comprised of tables. The buffet areas depend upon one having motor skills, though I found it to be quite workable. I really liked 2 West Bistro, a perfect addition to The Inn at DePauw. While I did not get a chance to try out lunch/dinner options, the service alone would likely bring me back to try it again.
