This place completely exceeded my expectations! The chicken piccata was mind blowing, they even make the spaghetti noodles from scratch. The servings are big but it's a bit pricey. Our server was great and made amazing recommendations for us. He even suckered us into dessert. Inside is quiet and nostalgic. Highly recommend this place!!!

Tried Piloni's for the 1st time today, FANTASTIC!!! We arrived shortly after opening and tried their lunch menu. The restaurant was extremely clean and very nice. We were seated in the comfiest booth I've ever sat it! Our waitress was wonderful, polite, and very attentive. The complimentary bread was delicious, and we ordered a side of homemade Alfredo for dipping!! We also ordered the tortellini and spaghetti with meat sauce and a meatball. All their pasta is homemade as well as their sauces! We will definitely be adding this to return.

This restaurant has plenty of options to choose from. My family went on vacation to Indianapolis and stopped. Great restaurant in Brazil,IN. Plenty of options to choose from and great portion sizes. The steak cheese dip was a great appetizer. All of our food was great. Super clean inside. Our server was busy but did a great job.

Went to Rose Hulmans Graduation today. We figured everything in the area would be packed so we went ten miles out to Brazil. We were super lucky. They were almost fully booked but had one table left. Food and service was amazing. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very warm and welcoming. We started out with meat and cheese tray that was awesome. The fried ravioli were delicious. Everyone loved their food. No complaints at all. We thought about dessert but we were all too full. Everyone was super friendly and service was very fast and efficient. Our drunks were kept filled and empties removed. We will need to keep this on our list of go to when in the area. It says on the menu there is a slight charge to use a credit card. I don't love this practice but a lot more places are doing it. Blame our law makers. It was against the law to charge a service fee on credit cards till 2013. The practice of surcharging was largely outlawed for several decades until 2013 when a class action lawsuit permitted merchants in several U.S. states to implement surcharges in their businesses. There are four states that don't allow the surcharge. Complain to our law makers, not small businesses trying to keep cost down.

Best restaurant in Brazil hands down. The owners and managers are fantastic and so personable. Everything is made from scratch. Fish is so fresh and better than any Indianapolis restaurant, truly. We spent $33 on the Mango Snapper and would have had to pay nearly $60+ anywhere else for it. Only downfall is that so many tables on top of each other, and sometimes they put just 2 people in a huge booth. Then when my family of 7 (5 adults and 2 kids) tried to dine (and could fit in a huge booth) we got turned away. Given, it was a Friday night. They said they could take 4 of us because they had a 4-top table, so we ended up having to separate and 3 people in my family went to a different restaurant. They were from out of town too and really wanted to try Piloni's. So that was a bummer. All that to say - if you want to try it, just go ahead and book a reservation so you don't get turned away.

Entry way has an old phone switch board from the building.

Ambiance was phenomenal. Excellent lunch location with a bit of history as you walk in. Food was good but prices a bit high for lunch and you should not charge a surcharge for a credit card use when we spent over $100 for lunch but I'll be back!

Food was amazing as usual! Their homemade pasta is the best. The caesar salad and bread were also really good.

But in a small town like Brazil, you need a good bar. Inside, the bar is ancient, but tidy and comforting. I grab a seat at a high top table. Our server, Deniela, was fantastic, gave us the low down on daily specials and made a few recommendations. Water came out quickly, as did food. She checked on us regularly. I had the daily special, prime rib burrito, which was very good. The prime rib was tender and juicy. The rice was much more flavorful than the usual Tex mex rice. I loved my meal. My husband tried the breaded pork tenderloin. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the large loin was moist and tender. The bun was good, too. The hand cut chips were delicious. (I ate half his chips and could have made a meal of them.) There is street parking. I recommend a visit, but expect to be rooting for Alabama on game day. The food is delicious.

We finally made it up there a couple weeks ago, set reservations, they were absolutely not needed on the Friday at 7 when we went. The service was fantastic, the dessert that we got was delicious, the food was ok at best (something you could get pretty much anywhere but it's a charming little place so that alone made it enjoyable), drinks from the bar were really good. We happened to be sitting at a table with an elderly couple behind us, this guy was so incredibly rude that my husband finally looked at me and said " That guy over there is being a complete prick to the staff". He was speaking to the staff like they were beneath him, he was incredibly rude to multiple employees and my husband and I just agreed he must be a miserable human being to treat people that way. After they left, we overheard another staff member tell the table next to us that was the owner. We looked at a picture of him just to be 100% sure and sure enough it was the owner. The wife looked embarrassed, the whole section we were in was taking note of the way this guy was speaking to the staff. Talk about secondhand embarrassment, he obviously didn't have any embarrassment to begin with but the rest of the restaurant was taking notice and cringing, after he left it was discussed among the tables. His behavior was repulsive, if you run a restaurant and you talk to your employees like that on the dining room floor, you should be ashamed. If you have an issue with the way you were being served you could've taken that up with the employee somewhere other than the floor. You obviously think that you're more important than you actually are and your behavior that day was vile, even if that was the best food I've ever eaten in my life I wouldn't return after he demeaned that kid like that. To the poor kid that he treated the worst, who just laughed it off and tried to pretend like he wasn't being talked to like that in front of a dining room room full of people, your parents must've raised you right because you had every reason to not stand there and take that.

Not only that, but the food was stellar. Here's what we tried: -Foie Gras Special: 9/10 - I just love foie gras and wow this one was cooked to perfection and the accompaniment of the cream cheese foam and the apple was amazing! I could eat it all to myself. -Denver American Wagyu 8oz: 8/10 - I did really like it, though I may have gone with Spiralis cut next time, as this was small and not as flavorful as I would've dreamed of. Decadent, of course. -Mac and Cheese: 10/10 - A perfect Mac and cheese. I don't think I could've dreamt of a better one. The flavor was outstanding, the pasta was al dente, and the cheese was just soooo gooey.
