My 14 year old grandson commented that he would go there for his birthday every year if he could (with different themes), and that he could learn about science everyday like that. He made ice cream with liquid nitrogen in under thirty seconds right in front of us. We tried the Liquid Nitrogen Cheetos first and I actually had smoke coming out of my mouth like a dragon, then the Tang Space Foam which ended up being my favorite bite, with the Jolly Rancher Meteors right behind it. At one point he did this thing with liquid nitrogen in a flask and when he lifted his hand off it looked like a rocket launching, genuinely one of the coolest little moments of the visit. We also went through a Mexican Fried Ice Cream sundae with churro dust, an Oreo sundae, and a toasted marshmallow with raspberry that surprised me, it had this frozen whipped cream that shatters like glass and an edible astronaut sticker on top. Then they put you in a black light room with glow in the dark cotton candy and my face ended up glowing too from the dust. It's not cheap and tickets sell out fast, but I'd go back in a heartbeat. They're releasing Halloween session tickets soon if you want to catch it.

TLDR: Unprofessional, not very gracious with mistakes and disorganized in the proposal process…read more I reached out to TBD Foods in the last week of September 2025 for a wedding in Denver in August 2026 after working with him in 2018. I am from Denver but live in CA currently and am planning from afar. Sent an incredibly detailed inquiry with day-of event timeline by hour, menu ideas, location (just a few blocks from their prep kitchen) and a bit about the event. Received two separate responses from he and his wife, Holly, seeking details already provided in my initial inquiry like guest count, location, time. Sent several emails back and forth clarifying capabilities, menu ideas, rentals etc. and finally had to set up a call in October (initiated by me after many proposal mistakes) to align. There was constant confusion regarding the style of the event and rentals - TBH, the many proposal revisions due to their mistakes maybe should have been the hint this might not be the best fit. But we went ahead! Terrence was late to the call on October 15 but let me know ahead of time and I genuinely didn't have an issue with it. After aligning, I paid $100 to have a menu tasting on Monday, December 22 when my husband and I would be visiting Denver from CA. So, this is a tasting that has been on the calendar for at least a month. When we arrived at our tasting (after confirming via email the week before and day of) 15 minutes before (6:45p) the scheduled time of 7pm, Terence is irate. Mistakenly, the event in my calendar was in PT (since we live in CA) instead of MT. He says that he refuses to serve us because we have "disrespected him and wasted his time and he has a 4-month-old at home." He continues to say that we are disorganized and lack care and that in addition to not offering a tasting, he will not put in the effort to cook for our wedding after how we've treated him. We are SUPER apologetic - this is something we've spent money on, confirmed via email and have been looking forward to. When asked why he didn't call to check on our arrival time, he said he "doesn't have my phone number. And you confirmed with Holly so that should have been enough." Because I filled out an entire inquiry on their website and spoke with him personally to schedule this tasting, it's BUCK WILD to say that you don't have my number and think sending an email is problem solving enough. We would have literally hopped in the car and been there in 15 minutes had we been given the courtesy of a phone call. All of this to say, we made a mistake, were very apologetic and were treated super rudely and given no tasting despite paying. 0/10 for TBD Foods.

A seafood boil, with added clams & lobster, was the chosen hit for the birthday guy! Holly & Chef Terrence were very accommodating with special requests. (NOTE: adding lobsters -- may want to request TBD to pre-cut tails and mallet-crush claws for easier eating.) Guests mistakenly ate a special brownie-stacked birthday cake before the presentation, but Chef Terrence jumped in, salvaged, and created a 'deconstructed' cake with candles that served and entertained us well! Big thanks to Holly & Chef Terrence, owners of TBD, and event staff. You're wonderful small business purveyors who work hard and deliver a memorable culinary experience. Continued success!

I tried them last month and everything we had was straight-up outstanding. Heads up: they do sell out, so make sure to pre-order at bayouboys.com! What we tried: Hot Boiled Louisiana Crawfish - Spicy, flavorful, and seasoned until the spirits say, "dats enuff." Served with corn, potatoes, and sausage. Hot Louisiana Boudin - If you know, you know. If you don't... Google it. You won't regret it. Jambalaya - Just like their mama made it, in a pot their grandpa used while helping build the Causeway across Lake Pontchartrain. It's giving flavor and history. Best bite: Crawfish has never been my go-to, but if all crawfish tasted like this, it might be. Spicy, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. And don't get me started on the corn because I'd take a whole plate of just that. The jambalaya also hit the spot (it's my NoLa fave), and for the record... I had my first and last pickle shot. Never again. So here's your weekend plan: treat your mom to a few pounds of crawfish and thank me later.

The day of the party, after I called several times, they finally contacted us 30 minutes before the event to say they weren't coming. We were told they had simply forgotten about our event. What's most disappointing is what happened afterward: nothing. No follow-up call, no meaningful apology, and no effort to make it right after leaving us scrambling to feed 100 people with 30 minutes' notice. Mistakes happen. Forgetting a confirmed catering event is a serious one. But failing to take any responsibility afterward is what made this experience particularly unacceptable.

Don't order the Chicken Sausage if you're picky. *** Came here on a Saturday visit to Denver around 11am for brunch. I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was spectacular. The hosts were friendly and our server was extremely helpful and made excellent recommendations. We were seated upstairs. It was 100 degrees outside so naturally we were a bit warm up there, but it wasn't unbearable. Casual vibes here - jeans, shorts, tshirts throughout. We ordered Elderflower Spritz's to start. They were absolutely delightful. Light and very refreshing. We also had their seasonal specialty Cashew Queso. It was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The cashew flavor wasn't overwhelming, it more so added a lovely bit of creaminess to the delicious homemade queso dip. We also shared the Carrot Cake French Toast. I truly have no words for how spectacular this dish was. I'll be fantasizing about it for the rest of my days. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft, rich, and cakey on the inside - paired with a scoop of some sort of fantastic whipped cream cheese *chefs kiss* Highly recommend getting this to share. If you're bold enough to order it as your entree, be prepared to take a nap shortly afterwards. I also ordered the "Make Your Own Breakfast" with cheddar cheese scrambled eggs and a side of avocado & home fries. It was all amazing. The portion wasn't overbearing but with the 2 appetizers we had - everyone at the table left happy. One thing to note: someone in my party ordered the Chicken Sausage and said they'd definitely get the bacon next time. So if you're picky about your sausage, try the bacon or avocado instead. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
