Rabbit Hole is an awesome neighborhood bar with inventive Asian-inspired food. They have happy hour everyday 3-6pm, with one of the best smashed burgers I've ever had. We also had the ribeye and fried chicken sandwich. All food was good, especially the ribeye, which was amazing. At $31 for a ribeye, one of the best deals I've ever seen. Highly recommend trying out this place and I'll be back soon to try more items on the menu. They also have indoor and patio seating. Patio seating was great for a warm afternoon. Was really excited to give this spot a try; drinks were okay, but the service ruined it. Came here for a pre birthday celebration, and while the drinks and small bites were okay....the service was just bad from the beginning. Came here with my partner and the waitress only wanted to approach me, and was not nice to my partner at all. When he was mid sentence ordering his drink, she cut him off and demanded to see his ID. ( mind you...it is also his bday...) A while later, we decided to get another round and he raised his hand hoping to get her attention. I completely understand that being a server is hectic and very stressful, but a little acknowledgment when you see your table asking for you should be bare minimum. She completely ignored him multiple times. When she finally came to our table and bluntly said to him " I see you okay. I'm doing other things but I see you. " she only wanted to speak with me when ordering also....which I found kind of weird. She is also not the nicest to the table next to us also, so at least it's not targeted. The service was mediocre and then went down hill all night. Waitress who started us missed my HH N/A cocktail, lame. Once all food was dropped off never spoke to her again. My husband and I stopped by since we were I the area and we enjoyed the apps and drinks we ordered. This was a little while back during March and we tried the cucumber salad and the spice bag. Been eyeing this place for a while and finally got to try it out. We sat inside, but they also have a patio in the back. We ordered the sesame peanut noodles, cucumber salad, and scallion pancakes. The noodles weren't my favorite--they leaned a bit too heavy on the vinegar. The cucumber salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The scallion pancakes were good on their own, and while the dipping sauce added a nice tangy touch, it also skewed pretty vinegar-forward. The standout for us was surprisingly the ribeye. The portion was generous. This is definitely a dish I'd come back for. For drinks, we tried the Hello Kitty and the Teacher's Pet. My partner enjoyed the Teacher's Pet, but the Hello Kitty had a strong alcohol flavor that didn't pair well with the food. Service was fine overall. Our orders were taken without any issues. Went here for brunch on a sunny day-- definitely sit out on the patio if the suns out. Our waitress was super sweet and nice. I tried their shiso martini which was delicious and refreshing, and my friends got the banana cocktail and a matcha situation. On our second round they got others and all the drinks are five stars. I ordered the congee which side of pork-- too watery and bland for my taste. My friends got the loco moco and while they were satisfied they have had better. The food I'd give three stars. Went for Sunday brunch and was very impressed with the food menu. We ordered the spam masubi and tomato egg with popcorn tofu. The portions are decently sized. Service was very friendly. Was walking down the street and decided to have brunch here- an asian fusion restaurant that is spacious and you can be quickly seated (I also came around 1 pm so probably the rush for brunch could've been done). Service was quick and attentive. The ube drink did not taste like ube at all but still a good refreshing drink. All the drinks are pretty strong so you get a lot for what you pay for. I do think chicken may have cross contamination/ seasoning with peanuts because I'm allergic and my throat was tickling a bit (Schezuan spices commonly do have peanuts) but I could be wrong. Nice set up and cool bar top alongside the dining area for inside seating, but they also have a back patio for seating and vibes. I got the smash burger (added a fried egg) with fries and let me say this is one of the best smash burgers I have had in a long time. The flavor has good slices with some added pickled veggies. The ginger was interesting on a burger, but paired greatly. The cheese was melted perfectly the burger was juicy and succulent, and the bun stayed crisp on the skin layer and did not get soggy from the juices. The staff were friendly and held great banter. Very tasty, well balanced, served up, with a light layer of foam. Could've used more foam. Was a little spirit-forward for me, but I'm a total lightweight. * Musubi ($7) - 4 stars. Really nice little spam musubi with rice, spam, fried egg, avocado. Only complaint is the seaweed holding it together was stale & hard to cut. * Xi Fan ($12) - 4 stars. Such a nostalgic homemade chinese dish to me! Great to have you tiao (savory chinese donuts) mixed with rice porridge, some peanuts, and hot sauce. Not sure if this is a great meal if you don't have the childhood memories to go with it, but I really liked it. * Fried Chicken Sandwich ($16) - 4 stars. Im actually not sure where to start the experience was so horrid. Food was actually moldy tasting and we both ended up gettin sick. I almost felt like I was on an episode of Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares because it really tasted like the water glasses still had salt on them. We got almost everything on the menu and the sesame noodles were not edible they were like glue so thick. No flavor. The smash burger was the moldy item. It tasted off to us and we both took only one bite and it still made us sick after. The chicken Bao was well fried but the sauce was also off and tasted a bit moldy. The poke was fine but the rice tasted like it was three days old and they left it out in the open it was so chewy. I'm not sure rice should be chewy? Really confused about all the good reviews here because this is definitely the worst food I've eaten in some time. Service was just ok. The chicken itself is super moist and they even include fried basil leaves. - Fan Tuan: Pricy but so good. We all loved this. The sticky rice is sweet and the filling contrasts it well. - Scallion Pancakes: Comes in several shareable slices. Very crispy and savory! - Tomato Egg: Like an inoffensive rice bowl with well-cooked tomato and scrambled eggs. It was a nice balance with all the other savory and oily dishes that we got. The cocktail menu was such a dream with the number of creative Asian-inspired cocktail options. First of all the Customer Service from the rabbit hole is outstanding. We wanted to make sure we'd be seated outdoors so I reached out and got a message back if that was fine and to remind them when I got there. When we arrived from an unassuming front the inside is beautiful - spacious, lovely bar to the right but plenty of tables for dining. The outdoor space is no less gracious - plenty of tables, heaters if you need them and great for parties of two up to maybe six. But what really grabbed me was the staff - every single person I dealt with felt like an old friend and welcomed me like I've been there 1 million times before. I commented that I wish they had a place like this in our neighborhood and the server agreed! Every neighborhood needs one! Food and drink. Whatever you want to drink they probably have it. Beer, wine, spirits, not alcoholic, Coffee, Tea, spritzers - I couldn't decide between the cider and the sake but since it was early in the day I went for the cider. And if you like food this is the place to be. (I'm starting to feel like Stefon from SNL.) this place has everything. Popcorn chicken, waffles, steak, bacon eggs, vegan dishes, the best scallion pancakes ever and a bunch of other things for brunch. I definitely want to go back for dinner to have the noodles and the ribeye. You really can't go wrong at this place. We came for the gluten free options and the popcorn chicken was absolutely amazing, a must get. Loved the name "Rabbit Hole". A friend loved Alice in Wonderland and all I remembered from that story was "going down the rabbit hole." I picked this restaurant mostly because of their name. The other reason was having smash burger. This is no smash burger but a really juicy hugh burger. It had pickled ginger but it looked likesliver of lotus roots. The fries were great with Korean ketchup. Come during happy hour and it's on the menu from 5 on to 6 pm. I love this bar. It had low volume music and I actually hear the conversation.. Fantastic! The drinks look super cute. My co-eater got the fried chicken (dark meat) burger. Looked hugh too. We got hugh chunks of English cucumber as a side. We have gone to Rabbit Hole several times and we really like the menu and the food. If this review was just for food I would rate it with five stars. On the flip side, the restaurant is understaffed and we've had a few less than average service. Last night, in particular, four of us went, ordered food and drinks. Most of our food was delivered before our drinks arrived. I reminded the server that we didn't have our drinks, and she replied that they were backed up. I then saw our drinks on the bar so I got up and retrieved them myself. Then the check came before all our food was delivered. Because of this experience I will no longer go if it's busy unless the understaffing is corrected. read more

The service was genuinely impeccable, and the drinks list was just as strong. We ordered the peanut sesame noodles, jicama salad, smashed cucumbers, popcorn chicken, and the happy hour burger with fries. The burger was a steal at fifteen dollars, and every dish delivered big flavour. The total came to about sixty dollars for the food, and we still took home two generous boxes, so the value was excellent. The hot sauce is a must try, and the gochujang ketchup was fantastic. We were too full to attempt dessert, which tells you everything about how much we ate. The space has a relaxed, family friendly feel, with a mix of families and date night tables, and the staff were incredibly warm and helpful.
