Great way to hangout with friends and unwind after a long day. Music was playing and the place was filled with the sound of friends hanging out. My friends and I bought a bottle to split. Later in the night they had a dance floor. Can't wait to go back and explore the area during the day time.

Came here on a Saturday night after dinner for a girls night out. There is a cool photo booth outside, which was high-quality and even gave you a video of your session. I love the decor of this space! It is definitely intentionally and tastefully decorated. Loved the lighting and plants. They had Lord of the Rings playing on the wall. The vibe is artsy, warm, a little dark, and overall a cool place to mingle. The bathrooms and tables were kept clean. I liked it that the DJ was live mixing. Getting a drink was fast and easy. The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

Stopped in over the weekend and is a great space. I love the natural light, plants, and space. It was busy but everything felt organized to order and get food and drinks. We tried a couple drinks and the mushrooms. Everything was great. Wish we had more time and empty bellies to try more food but will have to come back.

I absolutely love this spot! I've gone here 2x - once in the day after a yoga class in the area, and from that point on, I knew I loved the spot. I had a lil solo date and ordered the wine and food, and it was so good!! I love the plants and lighting in here. It was also my first time ordering apricot wine! The second time I went was at night. It felt very intimate, and this time I ordered the Earl Grey cocktails instead of wine. This drink was one of the best drinks I've ever had. I believe it had sake in it, which is why I wanted to try it, and it was delicious, I got a second drink! I heard they brought this drink back, so defs give it a try before it potentially leaves the menu again! Another plus is that it's right next to Lolinda, an Argentinean steakhouse, so it's a great spot to go right after grabbing drinks. This is one of my go to spots in SF. I would love to come back when they have a live DJ!

This place is a blast, perfect for a girls' night out or a date! I always enjoy starting with the orange and red wines--it sets the mood wonderfully. The staff could be a bit more welcoming or offer some suggestions.

My friends booked the upstairs area for their one year anniversary. Service was excellent. They were on top of cleaning up and refilling the food items if needed while manning the bar (or should I say "womanning"?) and helped us take photos. Variety of drinks and an assortment of vegan/vegetarian food options to choose from including vegetarian flatbreads, potatoes, and beet salads. They even had a coat check where we could hang out jackets! Overall, definitely recommend booking for a private event.

Such a delightful spot that I happened upon with a friend as we strolled through the mission. The space is light and airy. It has lovely feeling with the green shrubbery and hanging moss art. Order at the bar and pick a small bite to enjoy. The selection of wines is great and the bites are fresh and delectable.

Are you vivacious? Hot? Maybe a lil gay? A lover of wine, plants and finer things? Then Arcana is for you. First of all, an excellent selection of wines. The staff is knowledgeable and can guide you to the right glass to fit your palette. And they will let you sample a smidge before you commit to the pour. Also, Lina has mystique and is hot. Additionally, they have wine cocktails! I drank an earl grey sake thing and it was so good so I drank a lot of them until there were consequences. Also the security guy is really nice and listens to me when I get drunk and start freestyling (I have bars). Vibe can vary. There are always plants there, which we love, but the day time is super chill. You can grab a light bite (get the corn flatbread) and enjoy the natural lighting pouring in from the sky light. At night time, there's a DJ on weekends which of course leads to dancing which may lead to other shenanigans. You might see an ex, they might see you throwing that ass in a circle, who knows? Possibilities! Sometimes it's giving dancing, other times it's giving lounge. Check the DJ line up before you come. But do come. The only thing I would change would be for them to consider adding some loungey live music during the week for those more lowkey nights :)

If you love plants you'll adore Arcana in San Francisco because it's a beautiful sanctuary of plants and cool vibes. Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

Arcana is so beautiful in the evening -- Such a vibe!! There was no cover + a cute photobooth outside (I believe $6/2 strips) that we didn't get to try. It was the first stop on our bar hopping list, and definitely set the tone for the night. Music was techno/experimental with a DJ on the floor, there's an upstairs area where people were chatting against the rails, and the bartenders were cool. Cocktails were pretty strong too, like nothing I've ever tasted before.

We came by for a glass of wine before dinner nearby and loved the ambiance here! First, there's great natural light and greenery with plants all around. The high ceilings really adds to the airy and natural vibes and while there was a DJ that started around 7:30pm, it wasn't too loud to still chat with friends. I got a glass of orange wine which is my new obsessed and it was perfect for something light before dinner. Originally we weren't going to get food, but I was intrigued by the king trumpet mushrooms with whipped tahini and chili crisp and we ended up sharing that for a light app. Loved the mushrooms which were pretty cooked to be juicy and flavorful without being too salty. The whipped tahini was a great base and added a nice creaminess to the dish to round it out. I'll definitely be trying to recreate this at home!

The ambiance and service were great. The bites and wines I tried were pretty good. The overall experience was chill and I think it's a good place to hang by yourself or with a (small group of) friend(s).

I have walked past so many times and have wanted to go in because the aesthetics and vibes of the bar looked so enticing. Inside, it is pretty dim but a good ambiance with decent seating and lots of greenery. Went in for happy hour with a friend, which is every day from 4 - 6 pm, where a few select wines are slightly cheaper when you get a glass. Blood Orange Spritz - I was looking for something more sweet in their cocktails and this one was perfect. It had a nice balance with the prosecco and the citrus flavor was rich with slight sourness. It was bubbly and easy to enjoy. A nice place to catch up with a friend for happy hour but a little more on the pricey side even during happy hour.

The energy is vibrant without feeling overwhelming, and the noise level is just right. It's quiet enough to have a conversation and get lost in your own thoughts, but not so quiet that you feel awkward sitting in silence. Plus, the people watching was pretty entertaining, which definitely added to the experience. The three of us only tried two different wines. My friend ordered a glass of Masha, while my other friend and I both ordered the Los Chuchaquis. The verdict: Masha was really good. Good enough that a second glass was ordered! As for the Los Chuchaquis, I personally didn't love it. I found it a little too tannic and bitter for my taste. If you have a low tolerance for bitterness, this might not be the wine for you. That said, my friend, who ordered the same wine, absolutely loved it and thought it was delicious. So maybe I just ordered the wrong wine for my palate? ‍ Either way, the wine is only part of the experience. The energy here is fantastic, the bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the crowd was cheerful without being obnoxious, which I really appreciate. I'm not usually much of a night person, but I genuinely had a great time. It was one of those evenings that reminded me how nice it is to get out, enjoy good company, and simply soak in the atmosphere. I'm really glad I took my friends up on their offer to go out. Definitely a 5 star experience for the atmosphere, the energy, and the overall vibe. This seems to be such an interesting neighborhood. I'd love to come back and wander around, explore more, and discover what else this part of the city has to offer.
